I went here because it's cheap and right next to Sprouts almost but to be honest I really can't honestly give more than three. The vibe is just very uncomfortable to me. Not friendly and don't talk at all. But talk in a foreign language which just assume is to hide what you're saying about your customers. I could be wrong but it's just not super polite when nail shops do this. It's kind of a stereotype too that keeps being reinforced. I was given only a few polishes to choose from for whatever reason though they had plenty of colors. She gave me only glitter ones to select from. They turned out fine but that was kind of odd. And then I would accidentally move my hand too fast or whatever and the tech was kind of rude/impatient about me not knowing how to get a manicure. I dunno how else to describe it just really uncomfortable. I was waiting the whole time for it to be over. The music selection is unrelated to the quality of my nails but it was kinda stuff with bad language which more just added to me already feeling uncomfortable. That had nothing to do with my rating but all this stuff just had me looking elsewhere and questioning the overall average rating. I don't like lowering the average rating of a place unless it's literally intolerable or offensive service so three is kinda the best I got for this place. I don't see a reason to return with all the salons around. read more

This place is seriously the best nail salon I've been to in Sacramento. Great service, nice ambience, exceptionally clean and the customers are well taken care of. All of the ladies are so friendly and are committed to providing the best service! I come in with ideas and pictures and they creatively make it happen! So far, Ann, Lynn, and Tracy and have done my nails and they all do a great job! I would definitely recommend Harmony Salon. read more

Lan is my girl! She is so sweet, friendly, but most importantly, talented! This is why I love Yelp! During Covid, it's been hard to make a last minute decision to get up and go get a mani pedi because everywhere has limited appointments and is packed. It's for safety reasons so I'm not mad, just stating a fact. I called all recommended places on Yelp when I searched for mani/pedi in the midtown Sac area but everywhere was booked. I kept going down the list and this place was pretty far down. 4.5 stars was pretty impressive with a little over 200 reviews so I clicked, looked through photos and loved that there were more than acrylics in the photos (since I get gel and pedicures) and that there were also pictures of men, since I took a male friend with me; I also appreciated the pics of the inside. Now onto the experience. Let me just say that my experience started with the calm, sweet very polite woman, who I suspect is the owner, who answered the phone, made my appointment and asked if I could bring cash. When we arrived at our appointment time, we were seated in message chairs immediately and they started with my friend's pedi while I picked my colors. The estheticians were all SO warm and welcoming, not just to us, but everyone who walked in! The deluxe pedicures were great, long massage, paraffin wax, hot stones, coconut oil, the works! Our manicures were also really nice and they complimented my color choices which didn't hurt ;) I will definitely be coming back here when visiting Sac and hope people continue to have the great experience that we did! read more

Harmony Nail Spa is a special place. My sister and I have been going there for many years. All the women who work here are talented, friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. All the girlies in my office get their nails done, so when my wedding came around I got the recommendation to come here. I have never enjoyed getting my nails done so much! This is a small intimate space and I felt so welcomed by everyone who worked there, but I got paired up exceptionally well to work with Tiffany who was so sweet and funny. I came with three other friends and we all got our toes done, but when I was the only one getting a manicure, Tiffany invited all my friends to sit around me so we could still chitchat. Then my sister surprised me at the salon and they offered to do her nails without an appointment and up against their closing hours. It was honestly an over the top customer service experience - which seems to be rare these days and was severely lacking throughout my entire wedding planning process with many other vendors. The team here works hard and they have fun taking care of their clients. I felt like a girls girl there and the entire experience was so memorable especially for the occasion. I used to come here alot when I lived in Land Park. I Went today to get a gel pedicure hoping to relax since i'm 37 weeks pregnant. My luxury ($40+$10 gel polish) pedicure took less than 30 minutes and no callus treatment was done which was supposed to be included. My friend's signature pedicure ($30 + $10 gel polish) took less than 20 minutes. Super disappointed and will not be returning. read more

I've been meaning to do this review for a while. I have gotten my last 3 sets from here and I'm going to continue going to this place. First off I have gone to other nail salons where staff aren't very courteous or even polite. The location of this nail salon is in a nice neighborhood, and right when you walk in you're greeted with smiles and kindness. Each one of the staff really puts in the effort to know your name as well as remember each persons nail preferences. The owner is really the sweetest person. After complimenting several friends on their nails and being told that they had all had them done here, I knew I wanted to check this place out! Appointments: I used Yelp to make an appointment and received communication from them within minutes. I was easily able to schedule a time to come in for a dip manicure. Parking: The lot is small, but I was able to find a spot easily. Ambience: The salon isn't necessarily the most updated, but they played very calming spa music and had beautiful slideshows of landscapes playing on a large tv. I felt very relaxed! Customer service: I arrived early and received a warm welcome. I didn't have to wait long before I was seated and able to show the technician what I wanted. She asked for my input along every step of the way and used my reference photo multiple times. I trusted her judgement and she did a fantastic job! As I was sitting in the salon, multiple regulars came in and out and all of the technicians were very sweet/chatted about their clients' upcoming life events with them. Manicure: The tools and work area were very neat and clean. She sanitized my hands multiple times throughout the process and always after using a tool. I have been here several times over the years, and there are several reasons why I keep coming back. First, I appreciate that there is always someone answering the phone. I have been to other nail salons where I have to call multiple times in order to make an appointment. It is frustrating to attempt numerous phone calls, and no one answers the phone. Next, staff is always pleasant. I have never had anyone be rude towards me nor have I witnessed impolite behavior toward other customers. Also, prices are well advertised. I am always aware of what I am paying, because one of the employees will hand me a menu with listed prices for me to choose. Finally, the shop is always clean. Even before COVID, the shop was clean. Harmony Nail Spa came highly recommended from a few friends. The whole experience here was relaxing from start to finish! I had called to make an appointment so I was able to sit down right away. I loved the music/videos they were playing in the background. The pedicure was perfect and exactly what I needed. Hannah took such care to make sure my nails were perfect. One toe was injured by the technician trying to apparently trim an nonexistent ingrown toenail and the other foot was painted over oil so it rubbed off as soon as I got home. I called at 9am on a Tuesday to see if there was availability for a walk in mani-pedi. Thank goodness there was! I came in expecting to get fake nails (I'm going on vacation tomorrow) and walked out with a beautiful ombré on my natural nails. I still can't believe these are my real nails - so beautiful! It's very difficult for me to ask for things to be fixed at all, so I would have just waited until my nails needed a fill and then gone somewhere else for that. When I was contacted by the salon, and they were so nice about trying to make things right, I just had to go back. I'm glad I did! Ana filed the nails shorter. She applied polish, I chose the same color because I really love what I chose originally. She cleaned up the underside of all the nails. She moisturized around my cuticles and my hands and arms. I felt very pampered today. She suggested I make appointments with her directly, and I think I will do exactly that! She was fantastic. So sweet. Today's visit was 100% perfection!

Hear me out.... PLEASE! I hadn't been to Harmony Nails in almost two years. Life happened--finances, relationships, and honestly, just how hectic life and work can get as a hairstylist. I had thought about trying somewhere new, especially because I've been wanting to explore different nail designs, but I couldn't help coming back to Harmony. Their consistency, kindness, and the experience I've always had with them made me want to return. Today, I booked an appointment last-minute, literally just minutes before, and I wasn't expecting anything beyond getting my nails done. Instead, I walked in and felt like a VIP. They remembered me. They remembered my nails, how I like them, and even thought I had moved away. They remembered little details about me and were so excited to see how much my hair had grown. After nearly two years, they still remembered me. And honestly, that meant so much more to me than I expected. Today reminded me of the loyalty and connection that originally made me love coming here. As a hairstylist, I know how easy it can be to think the little things you remember about a client might not mean much--but being on the other side of that today made me realize just how much it does. I felt remembered. I felt valued. I felt genuinely cared for. I left feeling refreshed and invigorated in a way I didn't even realize I needed. The quality, consistency, kindness, and overall experience at Harmony Nails have always been wonderful. But today reminded me why I was loyal to them in the first place. Sometimes life gets busy and pulls you away from the people and places you love, but there's something so special about coming back and realizing you were never forgotten. I. Adore. Ann. I moved away from the area after going to Ann for 2 years, and for the first time since 2018, my nails feel so taken care of again. My cuticles are such a disaster and that's from my anxiety, Ann takes such good care of them and I'm so thankful to be able to visit her shop as often as I can now! If you tell her what your vision is, she is more than happy to help make it happen. Ann is kind, so sweet, and gentle. My nails are a reflection of my mental state and they were pretty messed up when I came in. Infinitely grateful for my friend and her amazing staff that make sure everyone is well taken care of. The gel is thin and perfectly placed and has never lifted for me. She has always worked within my time frame also, this lil gel manicure was less than 30 minutes, and is $35 + Tip. I also love that she is closed on Sundays to make sure her staff has a day of rest and to spend with their families and children. She's not just a fantastic woman, but business owner and friend. I'm so glad to be home and to have my special place back in my life on the regular, here's to many more photos of the fun nails we will create in the future! read more

ive found my salon, this place has the best service. especially Samantha, she pay attention to detail and know what i want. very mellow nice clean salon, free beverage too. price is very reasonable, i will be back Samantha. i was there when Samantha talking with the two young ladies. she wasn't being raises, they were joking so she was joking. i felt bad that these two young ladies was taking it the wrong way. anyway, found this place through yelp. and majority of reviews are great reviews and almost all of them have talked great about Samantha . they've even tipped her good before they left too. anyways, you were great Samantha, and i will be back read more

Great serivice!! Hannah is absolutely amazing and has been my go-to nail tech for the past year. She is so sweet, considerate, and genuinely cares about making sure I love my nails every time I leave. She always pays attention to the little details and makes the whole experience so enjoyable and comfortable. Awesome nail spa place... we were greeted with smiles the minute walked in. My daughter and I got a manicure and pedicure. The manicurist were very friendly and gentle. They offer a variety of drinks, such as wine, sodas, and water. Its clean and they use liners. Prices are pretty good compare to other places. It was a very relaxing and easy going nail spa. Just found me a great spot for pedicure and manicure service. Free complimentary beverage, also they use LINER for pedicure for extra precautions and good health. Everything is brand new in here, Samantha took care of me, she does a fantastic job and very friendly. Oh yeah! Had my ibraus waxed too. Love this place looks very clean and high class inside. Hannah does my nails every 3 weeks when my nails grow out too long. I get the Powder Dip because it lasts forever! This last visit was my practice run for wedding nails. Some nails aren't painted fully, even after I pointed them out and he went back to touch them up. Because of multiple coats (he did 2 coats of polish, top coat then more touch up polish then top coat again), the color is uneven and some are bumpy. The paint left around my cuticles is easily visible too. I wouldn't mind as much if these issues were on one, maybe two, toenails but it's on multiple and the pedicure looks messy overall. I was hoping this might be my go-to local nail spot but I'm disappointed by my pedicure experience.
