Major Mixed Feelings... I have come here three times and have gotten the following designs: french dip manicure with tip, regular dip, and dip with tip. I would recommend getting the french manicure with tip because they can dip the tip, which was very impressive. All of the designs by Emily are extremely cute and not too expensive. The reason that I wrote that I had major mixed feelings about coming here was that after my third dip mani cure. One of the nails came off, which was extremely painful. I didn't feel like get my nails redone so I let the nails come off. I didn't realize how far Emily grated the top of nail, so it was extremely painful when the middle finger came off. My nail was so thin that it started bleeding underneath the nail. This was so painful and I don't think that I will ever get my nails done there again. I feel like it was unnecessary to go that far into the nail bed. I was also upset that I paid $85 with tip for this to have happened. read more

Went back to have nails repainted (by the owner Mimi). They looked good when she finished but later on I noticed that four nails had grooves/dents. I will not be returning. Additional update: I asked for a partial refund since there were still issues and got push back. When I pressed the issue she offered a $20 refund. This morning the paint is coming off on one nail so now I'm going to have to get them all repainted elsewhere. ChatGPT basically said the problem sounds like they haven't had specialized training in how to use gel polish (because it behaves differently than regular polish). read more

A nail salon in East Sacramento that has a parking lot!!!! Yaaaas! Okay my gf recommended me this place! She was for sure on to something! I got a fill and a pedicure. I got the luxury pedicure!! It was great. While I was getting my pedicure a tech was doing my nails. I felt like a queen getting truly pampered. Unfortunately I can't remember either on of their names but they were both so sweet, professional and FAST!!! I'm saying I got a pedicure with gel and a fill in less than an hour 30. We called ahead and were able to fit in 3 manicure's. When we arrived parking can always be a little tricky since the parlor is one of many in a small area but they welcomed us warmly. We were seated right away after we picked our colors. The conversations were nice and when it came time for the scrub, oil, lotion, and all that other fun jazz that comes with the deluxe, it was incredibly relaxing. And the quality of the nails were amazing! They always checked in to see if we liked how our nails were looking as the appointment went along, and at the end they looked fabulous! I've been coming to Nefeli Salon for 6+ years now, and as long as I'm in the Sacramento area I will ALWAYS come here for my nails! I'm pretty particular about my nails, and the team at Nefeli nail it (no pun intended lol) every time. What impresses me the most is that I don't even have to worry about requesting a specific nail tech/artist... because ALL the artists who work here are fantastic. Mimi the owner (who is wonderful btw) must have high standards for her staff, because over the years I've had my nails done by probably every tech here, and I've never been disappointed. Tucked away in a shopping center. After coming to this nail place three times I can honestly say I am overall pleased with their service. Not only do they listen to their customers, but they kindly were willing to repaint my nails when I was very unhappy. It always feels awkward when you express you're not happy, but they were open to my comment and willing to fix it. I only use regular polish, typically last me 1.5 weeks if I let them dry completely. The shop itself unfortunately has a very strong odor of nail chemicals, they keep the door open but it is still super potent. However prices are decent! Everyone is super friendly! They offer a variety of manicures and pedicures with my favorite hot wax wraps! They also have gel, dip, and acrylics. read more

The deluxe pedicure comes with different scent/service options which I liked. Toes look great, and everyone was very nice. I came here for a fill and the nail tech ruined the good quality work from the previous technician. They were misshapen and sloppy. Luckily I had a good color nail polish to distract from the actual nails. I have since been to another nail salon and I am so happy with my nails. When you initially walk in, the staff is friendly. However, once the service starts, it's rushed, even when you've made an appointment several days in advance. When asked how you like the length or shape of your nails, if you make a suggestion it's met with huffiness and resentment. I asked if my cuticles were going to be trimmed and was told it was already was done (it wasn't). When I asked if the nails would be shaped on the top... I was told they had already been done... again they hadn't and they look chunky. I feel when paying between 50.00 to 100.00 for a basic gel manicure the service should be friendly, attentive and well done, not just ok. I cannot recommend Mimi's shop. read more

My daughter and I got same day appointments for pedicures. We chose the "luxury pedicure" which was well priced in comparison to other local salons and took about 45 minutes. They have higher levels of pedicures with more features that would take longer. It was a relaxing experience with hot stone massage, warm towels, good smelling scrub and lotions. The staff acted professional and smiling with no upsell pressure. There were about 3 or 4 other customers but it wasn't loud. It was a nice day outside so they kept the door open and the shop did not smell like acetone. They do a great job with cuticles and when they apply polish/gel/dip... they go all the way to the cuticle ... which I prefer because it extends the wear-ability time. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU NEED A NAIL REMOVAL I used to like this salon but today that changed. I came here for a pedicure and a new set of acrylics. I had an old set that needed to be removed but they did it so carelessly and as if they were in a rush, even though there was NOBODY else in the building. Because of how badly they were doing it, they cut one of my nails too short to where it was bleeding, and another is uneven and chipped as well. I didn't even end up getting that new nails because I was so upset about the service. And on top of that, they tried to charge me full price for the removal service! Everyone was so nice and friendly in the salon when I walked in! So glad I found this place after having a bad experience the last time I got my nails done. My nail tech was very careful and made sure I was comfortable and informed her to let me know if the drill got too hot. Her work was clean and she paid attention to detail which I appreciate.
