This was my first time visiting and Diana was lovely. I got the Deluxe pedicure. She has such a gentle touch. It was really relaxing, unhurried and I left with a pretty French manicure for a weekend wedding. I was there for over an hour and I'll definitely be back! read more

I went to Elegance Nails yesterday, wanted to remove my old gel nails and get a regular manicure. I walked in right after another lady. She was a larger white lady like myself so maybe they thought we were together. They had asked the lady in front of me something before I opened the door, and I heard her reply "I have an appointment for a pedicure." I looked around. It was almost 2pm on Saturday. 4 employees. Two were at the pedicure station, not sure what they were doing, a man and a woman. There were no clients there. Testing the water? Training? Readying for a customer not yet present? Not sure. Another employee was behind a desk where they do manicures and the 4th employee was helping the one other client in there with a pedicure. That client I heard complain that the water was too hot and they were burning her feet. I heard the 4th employee who was dealing with the water temperature of the sole client tell the woman who walked in, in front of me to "come back?" I think the other lady wasn't bothered and just started to look at nail colors, preferring to wait then to come back? Idk. I stood there hoping they'd talk to me. They didn't. I stared at each employee and one glanced at a clipboard at a front desk so I approached it and noticed names and what was wanted. So I added my name. Stood back. Nothing. No one even looked at me or the clipboard. I waited some more. It felt really hot in there like they didn't have on any air conditioning. I kept thinking how I didn't want this to take forever as I had a mile long list of errands to run, how it was hot, how I hadn't been greeted or even approached with a "20 minutes?" Or "come back at 3?" Nothing. So I walked out. I kinda thought since the clipboard had my phone number they'd maybe call them and I'd get to say no thanks but they never even did that! Seriously go somewhere else where they appreciate their clientele. read more

I've been going to this nail salon for several years now for my pedicures. It's my go to salon, reasonable price and always friendly. Ann and Jenny are Excellent. Always taking plenty of time to give the best pedicures. It's recommended that you make an appointment as the wait can be quite long if you are a walk in. read more

Got a great full set and pedi from here. I wanted an olive green color with the gel color but they didn't have it but I got a nice green gray that lasted 3 weeks. The full set was super light and easy for me to work with and they held on really great (3weeks) before I lost a nail (I do a lot of lifting so I was expecting it sooner). Anyhow best set I've ever gotten anywhere, and the workers all sweet and nice. Only concern I had was when I got my nails done I was looking at the sample color swatches and when I was done it was handed to the next guest but the lady that was doing my pedi with the water still on her hands that had just been scrubbing my feet. Think she didn't think much about it because everything besides that was very hygienic and health conscious read more

I really wanted to love this place but after today's visit, I won't be going back. I asked for a pedicure but never realized how short they were cutting my toe nails, that by the time I noticed, it was too late. I was already unsatisfied by the process because of this but when I got home, my nail polish was smeared across all my toes. I decided not to go with gel for the first time ever not thinking it'd be an issue but I was wrong. I waited 25+ mins for them to dry I don't even know how this even happened. As a man, it was interesting to say the least to venture into the world of pedicures -- and this place made me feel welcomed and not out of sorts at all. Of course, I was there with my girlfriend so that helped ease my mind...but the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I came in here to get a manicure. Prior I had my nails done with powder gel and I wanted them off after a month so when I came in the worker kept trying to take it off with nail polish remover and then asked if it was gel. I told her yes it is. And then she got frustrated, brought the nail drill out and began to take it off all while scraping my raw skin around my nails. THEN when she proceeded to do my nail polish and cleaned up some of the edges where the nail polish spilled over to my skin, there was still nail polish left around my nail and hand????? Eventually I went to go sit my hands under the dryer for a solid 10 mins, my nails felt completely dry (even tried rubbing them and nothing happened) I get home to start cooking and my left middle finger nail is wrinkled. okay. $20 isn't much to spend on a basic manicure but I seriously could have done this work myself if I wanted amateur work. Idk, I'm not going here again nor am I recommenced anyone to them. Sorry. read more

Will not go back.... I've been here a few times. When I walked in last time the nail tech had an open sanitary bag with cuticle cutters inside, I watched her put them in the drawer. Then while I was getting my nails done, to cut my cuticles she pulled out that same bag and started using that on me. The files that were used on my nails were very used (almost completely covered in nail marks where it shows white on the black nail file). My nails are ok, my thumb and pinky are not smoothed out, but will not be returning due to sanitary conditions.... read more

Every time I go here I am more than satisfied! I usually go for something very simple photo, but I had an event this weekend and wanted to do something a little more flashy and they did a great job as usual! Keeping my real nails long, and just getting gel on top is what I like to do, so them listening to what I want is key. They always make sure you are satisfied with the color before they move on to any other nails which I really appreciate. I've gotten pedicures here before and I am always very happy with those as well! I used to go to Sactown Nails, but I like this shop way better & I consistently go here now. 10/10 recommend, EVERY nail tech there knows what they're doing! Also, the prices are very reasonable for the quality they provide. read more

I hate doing this because the ladies were so nice. Went in for just a polish change service (thank goodness). Worst polish job I've ever experienced. She didn't even take off my previous polish all the way. It looks like a two year old painted my nails. I finally gave up asking her to take the polish off my skin and just had her finish up. This place is a hidden gem! It may not be the flashiest nail place in town but all of the employees are so nice and they do excellent work! I've had 2 gel manicures and a pedicure here and I'm so pleased with their work! The pedicure was one of the best I've ever had and it was 30 bucks! A few months back, I had gotten my first Brazilian by this one waxer (I can't remember her name, if I did I would've scheduled with her instead and I wouldn't be writing this), and she was great. She was quick but the pain was tolerable, she was understanding, and overall I had a comfortable and amazing experience. After my visit with her, I fell inconsistent with my waxes and went in today for my first Brazilian in a while. Since I couldn't remember my previous waxers name, I booked with Monique, and it was nothing like my first experience. I laid on the bed and we immediately began the service. Anyone who has gotten a Brazilian before knows it is definitely NOT the most pleasant experience, but today hurt so bad I was crying. I had told her beforehand that I haven't been waxed in so long I was practically a first-timer. She asked me a few times if I wanted to end the wax early, which was a nice offer, but what was I going to do, leave with a half waxed part of my body while still paying full price in the end? I had already made it as far as I did, and pushed through it for my moneys worth. She was going WAY too fast and I was in excruciating pain. I asked her a few times if she could slow down a little bit or if I could at least take a quick breather. She replied that since she had customers after me that I "can't take too long and would need to make it quick" ?? All I needed was a minute. The experience felt extremely rushed and, in my opinion, a service such as a Brazilian where you're dealing with such delicate parts of the body, should not be rushed. We got done with the wax, I paid, and after I came home I realized I still have gross patches of unwanted hair down there. I don't recommend booking Monique for a Brazilian. :( UPDATE: The salon called me yesterday and offered a complimentary touch up with Crystal today, and my experience was amazing! She was friendly, super cool, informative, and gave me plenty of helpful aftercare tips. One person canceled that morning, but I was able to switch to a different service for myself that same day vs. losing my deposit. The two pedicures were fine. They were basic pedicures, and aside from the water initially being extremely hot, I was happy with the results. Because of the deposit, there was also no wait time. The head spa, however, was a completely different experience. This was my first head spa, so I was excited and expected it to be relaxing. Unfortunately, it was anything but. The massage was brief, and despite the menu stating that oils would be used, none were applied. During the double cleanse, the technician used her fingernails rather than her fingertips, which became painful. There was also an excessive amount of cleanser, and rinsing it out was difficult. The water temperature was extremely inconsistent--going from hot to ice cold--and water got into my ear. Instead of feeling relaxed, I was uncomfortable throughout the service. Afterward, my hair was not completely dry. When I asked for serum, I was told it had already been applied, and I had to explain that I wanted my hair fully dried and soft. Another staff member eventually finished drying it, and the end result was much better. The two services totaled $138, or $158 with a 15% tip. I shared all of this feedback with the front desk before leaving. They were receptive and said they would provide additional training. I was also told that the technician was new to the salon and has some communication issues. I appreciate that they listened to my concerns, but based on my head-spa experience, I would not return for that service. *********************************************************** FINAL THOUGHTS Making a reservation requires a deposit, but it does give you priority if there's a wait. PRO TIP: I visited on a Saturday around noon, and it wasn't busy at all. If you're coming in solo, you can probably skip the reservation and deposit. I've had two pedicures here, and the service was totally fine. No issues at all. I also clearly saw the technicians using Barbicide to disinfect their metal tools, although I didn't pay attention to where they pulled the drill bits from. Overall, the salon is CLEAN, which I really appreciate. Personally, I wouldn't get a head spa treatment here again. I was told they're having plumbing issues because the building is old and that their plumber hasn't been able to resolve the problem. However, based on my experience, I feel some of the issues were related to the technician and not just the plumbing. That said, I'd love to hear from others who have had a head spa here. The lady who did my pedicure was very friendly while taking her time - she did a great job! They're very personable at Monet Spa which I also like - the owner remembered my name and that I'm married and have a daughter. The staff is always so grateful to see you back too! I have been going to Elegance Nails for over three years. I've never been disappointed with either my healthy nails/ manicures or pedicures. They are the only place I know of that offers 'healthy nails' as an alternative to fiberglass or acrylic (which I'm allergic to). Went out for lunch and stop by for pedicure (right next to the restaurant). I waited 5 minutes and met Jenny. She is amazing!!! The massage was nice, with a lot of pressure, oh so good I almost felt asleep. Cuticles all gone. Nails nicely cut and the gel finish, gorgeous.
