Also plenty of parking in the back so no worries there. The first thing you may notice is the lack of a "chemical smell" that is typical for most shops like this. From my conversations with Nessa, this is because they use mainly organic products. With respect to the pedicure. Opted for the Luxury pedi and the staff didn't disappoint. In fact, this was my best pedi experience yet. Joy and Kay were friendly and nice. Their attention to detail was purrfect. Who would have known such a nice experience was here. Everyone was super nice and the price points are standard, although the service and the products were exceptional. I notice the details from the steam machines to the massage chairs and everything in between. Just really great people at a great shop. Feel beautiful, check my new friends at Passion. Thanks Nessa! You guys truly are the best!

I was basically told "we do free fixes," but that's not the point ,i was leaving for a trip and wanted my nails done correctly the first time. These nails started looking old after TWO DAYS. You could already see my nail bed growing out like they were weeks old. I got them done on the 16th and the photo is from the 18th. Super disappointing experience and definitely won't be going back.

I have been here a few times and it has always been great with the exception of my last visit…read more I made an appt for a mani/pedi when they opened for the afternoon that same day. They confirmed they were available for a full set and a pedicure. When I checked in they confirmed again I wanted both, and an employee came over during my pedicure to ask what kind of manicure I wanted. Then at the end of my pedi they said I was all done. I asked the girl at the front about my manicure and she said oh I didn't know you wanted that too (even though i confirmed with her when I checked in) she then said they no longer had time and I could come back the next day. The salon was packed and busy and I understand that, but what is the point of an appointment if they won't honor it when they get too busy fo. I made the appointment because I was attending a wedding the next day. It was really disappointing to leave without my nails done. They are all really nice and do a good job but not honoring an appointment was really disappointing.

I was honestly really hesitant about trying someone new because I'm extremely particular about my nail shape and have been going to the same nail tech in LA for years. My sister recommended Tracy, and I couldn't be happier that I trusted her. Tracy absolutely nailed it! The shape, length, and design were PERFECT. She paid so much attention to detail and gave me exactly what I wanted. If you're looking for someone who is talented, meticulous, and truly cares about her work, I HIGHLY recommend Tracy. I'll definitely be back every time I'm in Sacramento!

I'm writing to address the experience I had at your salon today, which was not only disappointing…read morebut completely unacceptable. I have been a loyal client for over a year, consistently spending over $100 per visit, and I have always come in respectfully, communicated clearly, and expected the level of service that matches the price I pay. Today, a nail tech abruptly took over my service and immediately told me I "should go somewhere else" because I'm "never satisfied." I have never raised my voice, insulted anyone, or behaved disrespectfully. I simply expect quality for the price I pay. She went as far as saying the staff "gets scared" when I come in, which is not only unprofessional but completely false. Throughout the past year, I've also noticed that the staff frequently speaks in their language while looking directly at me or other clients, creating an uncomfortable environment where customers feel talked about instead of respected. This has happened every single time I've visited. To make matters worse, shortly before my service was finished, I overheard another woman complaining about her nail tech as well, proving I'm not the only customer experiencing issues. When I requested a small discount due to the disrespect I received, the salon refused. No apology, no accountability, and no professionalism. After a year of loyalty and hundreds of dollars spent, this is how I was treated. I will not be returning, and I hope management seriously reevaluates how staff communicates with customers and handles feedback.

We were in Sacramento for the day shopping for snowboarding gear and making a trip to the Apple…read moreStore, and since we had some extra time, I searched for a nail salon that could squeeze me in for a regular manicure and pedicure. I'm so glad I found Blush Nail & Beauty Bar! First of all, this place is BEAUTIFUL. The salon is spacious, bright, clean and relaxing, and the pedicure chairs are gorgeous and incredibly comfortable. The music was also SO GOOD! They were playing what sounded like 2000s R&B, and it honestly added so much to the whole relaxing atmosphere. I also really appreciated that they had a good selection of regular nail polish. I don't get gel, and not once did anyone question my choice or try to pressure me into upgrading to gel. That alone was refreshing. The original color I picked was very sheer, and I asked if they could put white underneath it. They explained that doing that could make it look streaky and recommended choosing another color instead. I didn't end up with the exact color I originally wanted, but I appreciated them explaining why rather than doing something they didn't think would turn out well. I still really like the soft color I ended up with. I chose their least expensive manicure and pedicure package, and I was honestly surprised by how much was included. The pedicure was wonderful -- probably the best foot massage I've ever had. It was so relaxing I was practically falling asleep! It even included paraffin wax. My manicure technician was wonderful too. She gave a great massage and was very gentle and patient with my cuticles. I can get nervous when my cuticles are pushed back and trimmed, and I felt completely comfortable here. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant, patient and welcoming. They also offer complimentary mimosas, wine and beer. I chose an ice water, and even that was delicious and refreshing. Overall, this was such a nice unexpected find during our Sacramento day. Beautiful salon, comfortable chairs, amazing music, great massages, friendly staff, regular polish without the gel pressure, and a genuinely relaxing experience. I would absolutely come here again the next time I'm in Sacramento

This was my second visit to Blush, and unfortunately, the experience was very different from my…read morefirst. I scheduled a visit a few days in advance for three people and four services and paid an $80 deposit ($20 per service) via Venmo. One person canceled that morning, but I was able to switch to a different service for myself that same day vs. losing my deposit. The two pedicures were fine. They were basic pedicures, and aside from the water initially being extremely hot, I was happy with the results. Because of the deposit, there was also no wait time. The head spa, however, was a completely different experience. This was my first head spa, so I was excited and expected it to be relaxing. Unfortunately, it was anything but. The massage was brief, and despite the menu stating that oils would be used, none were applied. During the double cleanse, the technician used her fingernails rather than her fingertips, which became painful. There was also an excessive amount of cleanser, and rinsing it out was difficult. The water temperature was extremely inconsistent--going from hot to ice cold--and water got into my ear. Instead of feeling relaxed, I was uncomfortable throughout the service. Afterward, my hair was not completely dry. When I asked for serum, I was told it had already been applied, and I had to explain that I wanted my hair fully dried and soft. Another staff member eventually finished drying it, and the end result was much better. The two services totaled $138, or $158 with a 15% tip. I shared all of this feedback with the front desk before leaving. They were receptive and said they would provide additional training. I was also told that the technician was new to the salon and has some communication issues. I appreciate that they listened to my concerns, but based on my head-spa experience, I would not return for that service. *********************************************************** FINAL THOUGHTS Making a reservation requires a deposit, but it does give you priority if there's a wait. PRO TIP: I visited on a Saturday around noon, and it wasn't busy at all. If you're coming in solo, you can probably skip the reservation and deposit. I've had two pedicures here, and the service was totally fine. No issues at all. I also clearly saw the technicians using Barbicide to disinfect their metal tools, although I didn't pay attention to where they pulled the drill bits from. Overall, the salon is CLEAN, which I really appreciate. Personally, I wouldn't get a head spa treatment here again. I was told they're having plumbing issues because the building is old and that their plumber hasn't been able to resolve the problem. However, based on my experience, I feel some of the issues were related to the technician and not just the plumbing. That said, I'd love to hear from others who have had a head spa here. How was your experience with the water temperature? Did you have a better experience with a different technician? I'd genuinely be curious to know!
