I came here on a whim during a work trip to get my nails done, and I'm so glad I did. My nails had been worked on by three different salons back in the Bay Area, and the combination of products and techniques left them in pretty rough shape. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was fun, loud, and full of personality. The team took the time to carefully examine my nails and even had a discussion about what materials had previously been used. In the end, the owner recommended removing the old overlay and acrylic entirely because of the potential risk of moisture buildup and fungus growth. Instead, they started fresh with a builder gel set over my natural nails. I really appreciated how honest, thorough, and caring everyone was. Rather than taking the easy route, they genuinely looked out for the health of my nails and made me feel well taken care of throughout the process. I finished with a beautiful white chrome shimmer topper, and my total came to $70. I've received so many compliments on my nails in the days since! My new favorite favorite nail spot! Ever since I came back from Vietnam I have been on the hunt for a place that does gel x! I have been two several places in natomas area and none have achieved what I have been looking for. I decided to look at other locations and this place looked very promising. It was easy to call and schedule an appt for the following weekend for a new gel x set. I had a picture of what I wanted and my tech, son, was amazing! He replicated the design perfectly! It was so pretty that another client wanted to take a pic of my nails so that she could get the same design next time. I will definitely be back! This place is amazing! My appointment was delayed significantly due to a customer demanding service at my scheduled time - due to her demands, she was serviced before I was, which rushed my appointment. Regardless, staff were very apologetic and I appreciated that! I got a gel French manicure. My manicurist did a great job and I loved how my nails turned out. I was also given a discount due to my delay! Only reason I gave 3 stars is because my nails started lifting within a week. I wish I could review just the tech Són because he is professional, kind, and attentive. Unfortunately, the manager is extremely disrespectful. I remember I walked in one time and asked to get my nails done and she disregarded me and said she couldn't do my nails. I walked away couple of months later. I walked back in and said I needed to get my nails done she took me in and that's when son did my nails. I later had an issue with one nail. I got them fixed. She was not happy that I went back even though there is a # Warranty later on I went back because the nail got damaged. She said she could not fix that nail that she was busy fix a nail takes 5 to 10 minutes. She said she was extremely busy. I said it's just one nail son was not busy and had no one to take care of. He even looked at me and gave me a shrug. There was also another tech that had nobody to take care of. I talked to the manager and said I know you have time to just fix one now. She raised her voice and said no I don't. You can come back tomorrow. I'm busy I'm busy you have to leave. I kept my call and left later. I called and said she was extremely rude and that it would not go back all in all I felt disrespected and disregarded as there was tech available and she was only worried about new customers. This is my favorite nail salon! I always come back here and have for the last 2 years. Miley is so kind and all of her nail artists are so skilled! Son did my nails this time, as well as one time before and he did absolutely amazing! I have never gotten nails here that I was even slightly disappointed with but even if you don't like something they will do their very best to make you so in love with your nails. It is very adorable inside and the service is wonderful! I was excited to try this place based on a majority of their reviews. Unfortunately, the results were a HUGE let down. I went in asking for a fill. (My normal place/gal is out of commission right now). I asked to do two colors, I like my pinky's to be different and was told I couldn't do that. I chose a simple cat eye color. There was no base applied and the nail tech did this weird swirl thing and then the magnet, it just made it look choppy, incomplete, and left my nails feeling bumpy rather than smooth. I've had cat eye nails plenty of times and have never had it done the way he did them. Left with several cuts in my cuticle area as well. I paid for my service but will not be back. I wish the pictures could show what I'm talking about more clearly but it gets the point across. Response to owner: I did mention I didn't like my nails, nothing was done. As far as there being no cuts, you are incorrect. That's what is clearly shown in the pictures. As far as showing me the color first, yes the tech did. That's not the issue. I asked if I could do two colors and was told no. I understand what the textured pearl color is, I shouldn't feel the nail polish inconsistencies. You didn't look at my nails when I left, you didn't feel them so don't tell me that they were done correctly. Worst customer service, & will never go back. 1) We called and scheduled three appointments for 5:30 pm for three mani/pedis in advance. When we got there, there were two people in front of us waiting for pedicures and three people who were about to start pedicures. They told us we would have to wait 10-20 minutes and in total we waited AN HOUR. 2) They were running so behind and the entire place was chaotic and overpacked. The girl next to me said she paid $80 for the worst manicure she's ever had, it looked nothing like the photo she brought in. 3) After waiting an hour, we finally got into our seats and I told them I wanted a gel manicure and pedicure. They took so long that my two friends couldn't get manicures because their regular polish wouldn't have dried in time for us to leave and make our dinner reservation. 4) Midway through my gel manicure, he informed me there's no gel polish left. I told him THREE times in the time we were there, I wanted a matching gel mani/pedi. And he brushed me off and said "Just choose a different color". I was so upset because they wasted my time and then charged me $20 for crooked nails that were not even the same shape. Did they think I wouldn't notice? After two hours of chaos, we three left with just pedicures and felt gaslighted. read more

This location head good reviews and images, but what sold me on trying this location was how swiftly they responded when I requested to schedule an appointment.  I went with my maid of honor on 5/4 and I was blown away with experience. We both got manicures and pedicures. It was nothing short of friendly, thorough service with amazing attention to detail. When they realized I was coming in as a new client only two days before my wedding, somehow the already amazing service got even better.  I don't get pedicures often, and get my nails done even less often, but the experience I had here makes me want to start getting them done regularly. I thought I found a new nail salon at M Nail Studio! I really loved the massages and complimentary mimosas here. You also can't beat the price. But the lady who runs the place has left me with no choice but to look elsewhere. First, she made some off comments to a couple of ladies that didn't sit right with me and made me feel uncomfortable last time I was in. I was able to look past these comments and decided I'd be returning because of what I believed to be phenomenal service. I was really excited for my appointment today to get Gel X for the first time. Last time, I was told they could not do it for me on short notice. So I made sure to make an appointment ahead of time and I hoped to get a pedicure too. I called around noon and they couldn't take me until 2:30 pm. Unfortunately, I had less time than I originally thought and could no longer do both services. They could no longer accommodate me for that reason. What was supposed to be an exciting "treat yourself" experience was a total flop. Of course, I do take some accountability for not cancelling the pedicure earlier than the appointment time. I just wish they told me to come back later if they couldn't do my nails immediately. I had less time, but I still could have pushed back the appointment by 30-45 ish minutes if necessary. Instead, I was lectured to cancel ahead of time if I wasn't going to be able to do both services. Again, that's fair, but it's not a good look to take that tone with a repeat customer. Not to mention, I also always tip them well. Just let me know you arn't ready and to come back, it's that simple. I'm just sad about it because all I was looking for was some relaxation and beautiful nails to cheer myself up. I wouldn't recommend this nail salon. I came here with my partner and the end result for the both of us did not look clean, and my nail chipped the next day. I will say that employees were really nice especially the older woman that works there. She was very welcoming, funny and a joy to be around. It's a shame the quality isn't as good as her customer service. When I returned to get my nail fixed the next day, I was told by the owner/manager it would take 45 min to an hour to fix one nail. I just feel like they should be a bit apologetic especially since the reason of my return was a result of their work.
