When I arrived, I felt a bit unwelcomed as no one seemed eager to assist me with my request for a color change on just two toes. I understand that this may have been an unusual ask, but I was recommended this shop by someone who assured me they could help, especially since I had an event nearby. When I first entered, there was a staff member who appeared available, but she was busy when I returned, and unfortunately, they were unable to fit me in for a service. While I recognize that this may happen, the overall atmosphere felt a bit off, prompting me to share my experience. I want to clarify that I did not receive any services here, and I am not attributing the chipping of my toenails to this shop, as that occurred elsewhere. I decided on a pedicure & got their monthly special "Aloha Breeze". The lady that helped me was phenomenal!!! She adjusted my chair several times 2 help me b comfortable. And she showed me that there's a spot 4 your arms 2 b so they can get massaged!!! No 1 showed me that b4!!! I had 3 rounds of the massage chair & my pedicure was over an hour!!! I really needed to get a pedicure. I was tired of tearing up my sheets (LOL JK). Went on my lunch break and lucky me, I walked right in an open chair. I'm not gonna go over all of the particulars, but she got all the nooks and crannies of my toenails, scrub, my feet, moisturized my skin, hot stones, and a great hot towel at the end. This is one of the best places I've been for a pedicure. My nail tech was super experienced and super sweet. I loved the way she called me, brother LOL!! we got along very well. They have some quiet music playing, as well as the the aesthetic of the room was great. They currently had a special for Christmas. She's consistent, detailed, and really listens to what you want. I always leave happy. I really enjoyed my experience at Lavendar Nailspa. I got a Pedi & mani. I did color on my toes & clear on my hands. My technician was Sue. Sue was very friendly & talkative but not to much. I could tell if I didn't want to talk she'd leave me be but I like some conversation while getting my nails done. I even had moments where I just enjoyed the chair massage & closed my eyes for a bit. Prices were pretty fair nothing outrageous. Customers were steady walking in. They offer complimentary beverages & had country music playing. They take appts & walk-ins. First nail salon I tried in Sac. The initial experience was nice. We came in late and was seated promptly with little wait. I opted for the gel manicure and basic pedicure. The tech cut me while cleaning up my nails, but I didn't make a big issue out of it. Accidents happen. The paint job looked decent. I noticed a bubble on one of my fingers and the tech redid it. Next day, I realized there were 3 more bubbles on my other fingers that I hadn't noticed at the shop. Around Day 10, there's discoloration (see photo). This has never happened to me in the past so it was disappointing to see. The polish must not be good quality because in addition to discoloration, they peeled so quickly too. I'm aware gel lasts between 2-3 weeks, however, these came off so quickly...and easily. I think I will try other shops before I consider returning. read more

Walked in and asked if they had availability for a manicure was asked to sit and it wouldn't be long was told 15 minutes after waiting already for 20 minutes waited a total of 45 minutes and just had to tell them that I wasn't able to wait any longer so just to cancel me. I would say communication was off was only approached once if I had been told the wait was going to be longer that what I was told I would have just thanked them and not waited. read more

Went to get my birthday nails done last week on Friday. A few days later they start to lift a little and today one came completely off. One week for $65 dollar acrylic nails is BS. Not to mention they rushed my service and bitched the whole time about doing them, even though I said twice I could come back another day. I was there at 5:40 and they close at 7. They did my pedicure first and mid pedicure they started my nails and glueing them on. She barely glued them on and I told her those aren't going to stay on because I have very short nails. She said I was fine. Then I had to argue with her to redo the jewelry on one nails because they didn't match and she argued for like 3 mins saying it was fine when it definitely wasn't. I still tipped her 20 because life out there is hella hard and it was rough day, I could tell. The pedicure, I still tipped this girl 20 too... but they charge 10 dollars for gel. Lavender Nail spa has been my go to nail shop for years. Pre-pandemic I frequented every two weeks for a pedicure and gel manicure. I visited Lavender nails one week ago and got my usual; gel mani and pink clay pedicure. My total was pricey but the experience was worth it, mostly. There were a few pesky flies that were bothersome while I was getting my nails done but... nature, eh. Anywho, no big deal I really did love my nails and I still do. However, as of two days ago my gel polish began to lift and my toe nail polish chipped after 2 days. I can work with regular toe nail polish chipping because that happens. However, my gel polish lifting and coming off after only 5 days is less than satisfying. I am currently out of town with my husband and am extremely embarrassed at how my nails looks. I will have to find a Target and redo my own nails. How pitiful and what a waste of money and time. It is so difficult finding a good nail salon and I was sure I had one. read more

Issues- Yesterday I'm charged $33.25 cash 6 weeks ago, I was charged $35 cash I was not offered a drink yesterday 2 times before, I was offered, even without a Yelp check in It was 98 degrees at 5pm. The lady who performed my pedicure was very rough with all her tools (nail nippers, emory board) I came home and noticed my pedicure polish isn not uniformly opaque. Ok so I hate to write this because the ladies are really nice and they deserve to make money BUT I got my toes done with gel about 10 days ago and 2 days after they bubbled and the gel peeled off. I went back and they were very nice to fix it for me. About a week later my nails chipped off again so I called and they said come on back we will fix. They looked much better and I thought I was going to be good! Literally one day later my toenail peeled off again! I don't think the gel is good quality and I do not recommend. They are not curing the black gel long enough since it's black it needs to be cured and nail techs should know that. At first I thought I was doing something wrong but I get gel pedi every 4-6 weeks at blush nail spa and it never ever peels. I have had not one but 2 bad nail jobs now . The first time I came back and they fixed them. So I gave them another shot after taking a nail break and got a different nail tech. The nails are way to thin and mis shaped. I've had my nails for just days and have 3 breaks. One from tying a shoelace one from scratching my back and one from shopping and moving clothes. I can't give them a third try at the prices they charge. Im going back to luxury nails to have them fixed and won't be going back. It's a shame over the years their work has gone down hill. I just got around to this however my last visit was horrible they treated me very poorly I'm on a tight budget so I chose the cheapest pedicure (not cheap at all) However as soon as I picked that one the lady's attitude turned completely rude almost hostile then to add insult to injury she never asked if I wanted gel just took in upon herself to give me gel (I never get it don't like it) then when I said that as I was paying the rude man at the front station says he heard me ask for it I was polite still but told him now you are just an out right liar I was about to pay the amount just to save myself any further embarrassment when the lady decided she didn't want me to file a complaint with DCA so at least I wasn't charged for the ugly gel polish in the end yes my French manicure looked a wreak like a preschooler did it.
