Significant chip after 1.5 weeks (fill by Nhi).

Got a fill from Nhi. I thought she did a good job and liked the fact that she was fast (50 minutes) however I felt like I was ripped off. When I booked the appointment I was told fills start at $35. I was charged $40 and my nails are not long so I was surprised when I asked why it was $40 that she said it was due to nail repairs. Absolutely ludicrous--there was one nail that she said she would have to partially remove (the damaged part came off so easily she barely had to lift it) and didn't require anything special to actually "repair". She claimed that she did some other small repairs some but the only things I noticed were a couple tiny chips, which I would never dream of classifying as repairs. I have been to tons of nail shops and have never been charged anything extra for repairs like these, let alone $5. It's only been 1.5 weeks and a pretty significant sized piece of polish and acrylic just chipped off (from literally nothing--don't even know how it happened) so I'm even more unhappy now.

This place was amazing!! We came a few days before my wedding. The appointment was booked 3 weeks in advance. They were able to accommodate all 6 of us. We did our toes and a full set. I was beyond pleased with the outcome. I have come here a few times for nails (dip) and a pedicure. They have been great every time! But today I decided to write the review because they truly did go above and beyond for us and I am sooooooo happy with my nails!!

After one day, polish began to peel. Polish is missing from multiple nails in less than 24 hours. This location online received 3 starts is because at least my feet does not seem to be peeling yet. After a $25 basic manicure and polish, this should not be happening. First time here, do not expect to return.

I was in and out of here like a fast food restaurant. And on short notice too! LOCATION & DECOR: Right of Folsom Blvd near Pizza guys with shared parking and plenty of it. PRICE: $$ -Basic manicure $20 -Basic pedicure $30 -Deluxe pedicure $40 SWAG/AMENITIES: -massage chairs -restroom STAFF & EXPERIENCE: The staff was professional, kind and quick! I called in 10 minutes before I arrived which was an hour before they closed on a Sunday and told them I needed a manicure and a pedicure. They welcomed me in immediately. The conversation was great and friendly. They did my hands and feet at the same time and I was out the door in 40 minutes! Just got the basics with a clear coat for a photo shoot the next day. Definitely coming back if I'm in town again. read more

Ni did amazing on my nails !!! , I didn't get the name of the girl who did my pedicure , but she was so attentive, she was really aware of my cues when something was uncomfortable, and she made sure to check in periodically to make sure I was okay , I will definitely return , I usually leave the nail salon with knicked fingers , or sore toes from the excessive digging but that didn't happen this time around , the salon is a bit dated , but the atmosphere was still a relaxing vibe for me . read more

I was unable to attend the appointment I set up with Ricky. But later in the afternoon, I called the salon and asked Ricky, who answers the phone, if he had time to do my pedicure later and he said, yes and gave me 3:20 pm for the appt. As soon as I sat down, Ricky said he couldn't put someone in my earlier appt. We usually talk and he's normally friendly. At the end of the pedicure Ricky said that the salon would not be able to nook an appt if they missed 2 appts in a row. I said ok, but he again repeated the warning. I paid and left. I went next door and ordered a pizza but waited in my car for the pizza to be finished. I called the nail salon and Ricky answered. I told him that I did not appreciate the way he spoke to me, and although I appreciated his work, I wasn't going to come back. I told him that I'd been a loyal customer who tipped well. I then asked him if he knew what Yelp was. He said he did not so I told him that it was a website to review businesses. I said I should leave a bad review based on how he spoke to me. Conversation ended but here I am reporting how I was treated. MT nails does a good job but I'm not going to be spoken down to. And it's all about customer service, so I will call again to tell him I did the review and decided to not return. read more

MT Nails is the only place to go for all your nail needs. I have been getting my nails done here for the past 3 years. The fact that I live 35 mins away and make the drive every 3 weeks to get a fill and pedicure must say a lot. Kelly is my girl, she has been doing my nails for the past 7 years. When she moved to MT Nails I moved with her and have been happy ever since. When she goes on vacations, I go without. Kelly knows that a full set will be needed when she gets back. That's how good a job she does. Nancy is also great. I look forward to seeing her and hearing her stories about her grand kids. Everyone makes you feel welcomed the minute you walk in the door. I entrust the ladies in the shop with the nail and waxing needs of my two girls as well. read more

I had such an amazing expirence today at MT Nails! I called at 4:00pm wondering if Kelly was there they told me yes and that they would book me for 5:10pm. Went in 20 mins early & did not wait long at all they started my pedicure shorty after my arrival while I waited for Kelly to do my nails. I told them I was not from Sacramento & this was my first time visiting them they were so friendly & welcoming, I was pleased. Not only great customer service but Kelly did an amazing job on my nails. Wish I could return but I'm from a different city! Thank you guys so much for the amazing expirence. read more

I used to come here when it was Image Beauty Salon. I like the staff and the atmosphere. I can laugh, relax, and also be quiet or social if I want to here. They are clean and have plenty of gel colors to choose from. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and everyone was helping to make sure I got what I wanted . The first time I came in and Dina did my nails, she did Ombré . It looked amazing and then I just came back for a fill today and another pedicure, no complaints!!! I will def keep this place as my main nail shop. read more

LOVE this place!! My nails looked horrible after I clipped them myself but I tried this nail salon for the first time and he SAVED my nails, they look amazing and just in time for a job interview! He was super nice, the nicest nail tech I've ever gotten my nails done by and this small shop was quiet and cute and perfect. I love my manicure, and it was way cheaper than the place I've been going to. He was so nice on my hands I'm for sure making this my new regular nail place!! read more

I wish I could give no Stars I use to come cause Nancy did my brows they did feet good but wasn't impressed with the nails... Nancy one time did my brows and when plucking she pinched my skin!! Because I had a date that night I asked her to stop so that it wouldn't swell cause she's a little rough. When she stopped I was satisfied with it paid AND TIPPED. I tried to book again after I healed and grew back she blocked me. I came to get my feet done and when I asked she lied and said she's booked then I brought up the blocked situation she told me I'm to sensitive she doesn't wanna service me anymore! Blew me back.in front of other customers She was rude and treated me as if I hurt her. At this shop they made me feel like me being hurt and still paying I'm the issue . I would never bring this salon anymore business they don't care about you if they injure you. Definitely thinking about reporting Nancy read more

I was basically told "we do free fixes," but that's not the point ,i was leaving for a trip and wanted my nails done correctly the first time. These nails started looking old after TWO DAYS. You could already see my nail bed growing out like they were weeks old. I got them done on the 16th and the photo is from the 18th. Super disappointing experience and definitely won't be going back.

Today, a nail tech abruptly took over my service and immediately told me I "should go somewhere else" because I'm "never satisfied." I have never raised my voice, insulted anyone, or behaved disrespectfully. I simply expect quality for the price I pay. She went as far as saying the staff "gets scared" when I come in, which is not only unprofessional but completely false. Throughout the past year, I've also noticed that the staff frequently speaks in their language while looking directly at me or other clients, creating an uncomfortable environment where customers feel talked about instead of respected. This has happened every single time I've visited. To make matters worse, shortly before my service was finished, I overheard another woman complaining about her nail tech as well, proving I'm not the only customer experiencing issues. When I requested a small discount due to the disrespect I received, the salon refused. No apology, no accountability, and no professionalism. After a year of loyalty and hundreds of dollars spent, this is how I was treated. I will not be returning, and I hope management seriously reevaluates how staff communicates with customers and handles feedback.

One person canceled that morning, but I was able to switch to a different service for myself that same day vs. losing my deposit. The two pedicures were fine. They were basic pedicures, and aside from the water initially being extremely hot, I was happy with the results. Because of the deposit, there was also no wait time. The head spa, however, was a completely different experience. This was my first head spa, so I was excited and expected it to be relaxing. Unfortunately, it was anything but. The massage was brief, and despite the menu stating that oils would be used, none were applied. During the double cleanse, the technician used her fingernails rather than her fingertips, which became painful. There was also an excessive amount of cleanser, and rinsing it out was difficult. The water temperature was extremely inconsistent--going from hot to ice cold--and water got into my ear. Instead of feeling relaxed, I was uncomfortable throughout the service. Afterward, my hair was not completely dry. When I asked for serum, I was told it had already been applied, and I had to explain that I wanted my hair fully dried and soft. Another staff member eventually finished drying it, and the end result was much better. The two services totaled $138, or $158 with a 15% tip. I shared all of this feedback with the front desk before leaving. They were receptive and said they would provide additional training. I was also told that the technician was new to the salon and has some communication issues. I appreciate that they listened to my concerns, but based on my head-spa experience, I would not return for that service. *********************************************************** FINAL THOUGHTS Making a reservation requires a deposit, but it does give you priority if there's a wait. PRO TIP: I visited on a Saturday around noon, and it wasn't busy at all. If you're coming in solo, you can probably skip the reservation and deposit. I've had two pedicures here, and the service was totally fine. No issues at all. I also clearly saw the technicians using Barbicide to disinfect their metal tools, although I didn't pay attention to where they pulled the drill bits from. Overall, the salon is CLEAN, which I really appreciate. Personally, I wouldn't get a head spa treatment here again. I was told they're having plumbing issues because the building is old and that their plumber hasn't been able to resolve the problem. However, based on my experience, I feel some of the issues were related to the technician and not just the plumbing. That said, I'd love to hear from others who have had a head spa here. The lady who did my pedicure was very friendly while taking her time - she did a great job! They're very personable at Monet Spa which I also like - the owner remembered my name and that I'm married and have a daughter. The staff is always so grateful to see you back too! Overall, I'm glad I decided to come back and give them another chance. This is definitely my new favorite nail salon!

I was introduced to Kelly about 9 months ago because I like crazy designs, colors, art...etc. and she is a miracle worker.
