My coworker recommended me to Kristin and I'm so happy I gave her a try! I was able to make an appointment the same day and the minute I walked in, I was greeted & seated. The salon is fairly big and very nice inside. They have an endless amount of colors to choose from and this is really what had me excited! I loved that they had cat eye, chrome, pastels, reds, etc. all swatched. It was hard to choose a color but also, perfect for me to create a list of what I wanted during my next visit. LOL Kristin did my gel deluxe pedicure and she really took her time trimming and cleaning my cuticles. I have ingrown toe nails that really bother me and she took good care of those as well. The paint job was good and the massage was even better. I also had a full set done by a gentleman and he was finished in less than 45 minutes and my nails looked good! That's unheard of. The only complaint I really have, is that I chose a cat eye color and design but my nails didn't have much of the cat eye affect and the cat eye was at the end near my cuticle rather than the center of my nail. The staff were all really friendly and their prices are actually cheaper than surrounding salons. The location may seem a little suspicious but it's a great salon and I can't wait to be back! read more

My friend does my nails but I have always gone to another salon for my pedicures since 2012. I will drive to the other side of town and make 2 different appointments for nails and pedicures because I want specific nail techs for separate appointments. My favorite pedicure nail tech "Christine" has recently joined American Nails & Spa and I love the ambiance of this salon. The decor is bright and modern. I love the grey and white colors. The salon looks very clean and is pleasing to the eye. There is even a room with 2 pedicure chairs that is slightly separate from the other chairs . This room would be perfect for an appointment with my sister and besties. I'm glad I have followed Christine to this new salon. Christine is meticulous with cuticle care, the massage is heavenly and my polish is always clean. Some techs can't even clean up your cuticles or polish your nails evenly. I don't feel like I'm asking for to much when I don't want that I polished my own nails with my left hand look. I really enjoyed my deluxe pedicure with the volcano spa box upgrade. Yes that upgrade is worth it. I didn't feel rushed at this new salon and was able to really enjoy my pedicure. Do yourself a favor and give this salon a try. She found that I had MMA on my nails which has been illegal since the 70's to use on nails. We also found in removing my toe nail polish that I had contracted nail fungus . Went in on a Thursday for a new full set. I showed the nail tech a picture on my phone of a pink & white ombré. I also asked for "coffin". Nail tech used only pink from the pink & white gel, and said that's how it's done, "it's not white, it's clear". It looks NOTHING like the picture I showed. Sunday, I notice the gel is bubbling, on every single nail, so I call and ask if I can come in to have that fixed, they tell me to come in to be assessed. I go in, nail tech tells me "that's just what happens when you use the pink gel only instead of a colored polish" and I said "but I didn't ask for this, I showed you the original photo and this is what you decided to do.." She tells me it'll be $10 charge (after already paying $45 and tipping $10, making it $55) to PAINT OVER the pink gel with a color.. and then I was pressured to leave a tip as well... What I left with.... Still not coffin. It's upsetting because just a few years ago I used to come to this salon with my friend and Tram always did an AMAZING JOB. My bestfriend and I went into the salon this morning and it was a terrible experience. I showed them a picture of what I wanted ... and came out with something totally different. My nail technician also cut me with the drill bit and I was bleeding. She also added the wrong butterfly on one of my fingers. Their not matching. And then My bestfriend got a pedicure and her nail technician didn't tell her about the $10 extra for a gel pedi and didn't even talk to her. I was literally only 1 inch away and I didn't hear her nail technician Say anything. And then the nail technician was arguing with us saying that she did but she obviously did not.
