Such a terrible shop. They won't even try to work with the customer to fix the issue after spending $70. Its so ridiculous we pretty much got scammed out of our money, and on top of that the customer service was disgusting. They were in a rush and had a visibly upset face (and attitude). I wouldn't recommend this ghetto place to anyone. They also had a customer get on the phone and start to yell at me over the fact that I was unsatisfied with the service. Unbelievably unprofessional--we had asked if perhaps we could just get them fixed, to which she refused and said, "only one nail". This isn't how you run a business and you sure as he'll don't earn customers this way. I will be speaking to the board. read more

Love Cindy's nails!!! I always leave this salon with my nails looking super cute, and I receive so many compliments all the time. I came in with almond shape nails, and I didn't know what color I wanted, and the owner (Mrs. Linh) showed me this gorgeous blue color. I just went with it and I'm so glad I did. The color is so so cute! And to top it off, I didn't want almond shaped nails anymore, and she was able to give me square shaped nails. Come into this shop! I got my nails done here because I saw a picture that had a similar design and thought it would be simple enough. The lady who did my nails said she could do the design so I let her do her work. I was to embarrassed to say I didn't like them. I spent my morning at another shop getting them redone so that I could have the nails that I wanted. None of my nails were the same length and some were pretty uneven. I would not recommend coming here even for a simple set. I am going to call to request my money back as it was not cheap and I had to go spend more money to get exactly what I want. read more

I was sitting at the bar when I turned to the left and saw the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. She looked at me and I smiled. I am not the most confident guy in the world, but I gathered all of the confidence I got right then and there. I took three more shots of tequila (don julio, not the cheap stuff) and I went up to her. I asked her if the seat was taken next to her. She said it wasn't so I sat next to her. I noticed she kept looking slightly up on my forehead. I didn't think anything of it at first so I kept this confidence. I asked her if she would like to go on a date with me. She said no. I was crushed. I went to the bathroom. After crying in the stall for 16 minutes I looked at myself in the mirror. I've realized why she kept looking above my eyes. It wasn't my enlarged pimple near my temple but it was my eyebrows. It was so bad. The next day I immediately looked at yelp for eyebrow waxes. Long and behold I found Cindy's Nails. Holy crap. I cannot thank that girl at the bar enough cause if it wasn't for her, I would have never gotten my eyebrows waxed. Seriously, everywhere I go now everyone stares. After several years of going to this salon I got a toe nail fungus called paronychia. I never said anything to the owner Lynn the first time, but I did the second time and she said, oh no you dropped something on your toe (Are you kidding me). I went to the doctor, and I would know, if I dropped something on my toe. She said, we can no longer serve you. Well, I wasn't gonna come back anyways that's for sure. But, it's sad the way she responded very unprofessional. A nail fungus (Paronychia) not once, but Twice in 4 1/2 years. And, it's very loud in the shop with the new girl, can't even relax in there. They do not use plastic liner inserts for their tubs very unhealthy.Good riddens. read more

Terrible customer service. I went today and was rushed out with a bill that didn't match the service they advertised. The nail tech rushed my service because she lives in Elk Grove and she wants to beat the traffic home. I got charged full price and with no cleaning just color paint and was done. I do not feel comfortable referring anyone here, they're greedy and care nothing more than getting money. I was looking forward to checking them out and was very disappointed. My visit today was pretty terrible, and I'm very disappointed. I came in to get acrylics taken off and get a gel manicure. Things started going downhill when the manicurist used a cuticle clipper to remove the acrylic and snipped some of my real nails. She also left a bit of the acrylic. She got through 7 fingers before I stopped her because she took a sizable chunk out of that 7th nail, so she put me to soak the last 3 nails in acetone and said the other manicurist would do my manicure. The other lady did an ok job of cleaning up the lengths, but the final result was still subpar. Instead of using the clippers to remove the last bits of acrylic, she filed them down on my nails (and not very well). Several nails had splits, and instead of using nail glue or something to seal them, she just painted over the splits with the gel polish. She also smudged both thumbs, and instead of starting over with a fresh coat of color, she painted over the smudges with clear gel polish. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! Went here because my nail shop is closed on Sundays and I broke 2 nails and was due for a fill anyways When I came in they were polite I told them I wanted a fill,2 nails replaced and a color change on my toes I told them Gel on my hands and toes!! Repeatedly!!! She would not listen to me about the shape I wanted I walked out with some square some tapered when I wanted the tapered tip but flat at the end not pointed she messed up the paint and I still paid her 30$ for a fill!!!!! When she got to my feet I repeated I wanted gel she started yelling and having an attitude saying I never told her that so she started taking the color off my left foot THEN after telling me originally 7$ for a color change she said to take off my color and put back on gel it was 25$ she wouldnt fix my pedicure that she ruined either the owner was sooooo rude!!!! Ive never had such a horrible experience at a place of business in my life I WILL NEVER COME BACK!!!!! read more

Lynn is so sweet. She takes her time and she makes the manicure last. I only go to Lynn ever since I discovered this place. I wish it was closer to my house. My manicure lasted over a month, this never happens at other places. I recommend making an appointment because it can get busy. read more

I love Cindy's nail. First I moved to Sacramento from Maryland. The young lady in Maryland who did my nails, her name was Cindy. She took great care of my nails. After looking around for different places. When I saw the sign Cindy' Nails I asked my husband to turn around. I told my husband "look Cindy's nail just like Cindy in Maryland, who did my nails...lol. It has to be a reason I looked over and saw the sign. I walked into Cindy's Nails and asked the young lady getting her nails done how long she had been coming here and stated 7 years. She had been looking around at different nail salons and didn't like the quality of work. She made me laugh as she said told me she went to one of the salons and before she could get in the car good, two of her nails popped off. She named some of the places I had gone to look at. Well, to not prolong the story, I too go to Cindy' Nails. I only get them done once a month and they last and on top of that I get a lot of compliments. I searched on yelp as I was in traffic after getting off work late. Most nail shops close at 7pm. I was in the area and it was 6:45pm. I broke a nail and they did a great job and I was in need of a fill. The place was clean and the ladies were nice. I will go back because I appreciate that they speak English and not in Vietnamese. From past experiences I am of Asian decent but keep it professional because speaking in another language to me comes off rude to speak to each other especially when your customers don't understand. I just moved to the area and of course sourced to yelp to find a new nail spot. Happy to say that this place was awesome! I did have to wait alittle bit but they let me sit in the pedicure chair and soak my feet while I waited. They took their time with my pedicure and it stayed on for almost 3 weeks! That was even in the mix of moving. We all know how moving does a number on your nails. Anyhoo - I will totally go back here again. There were bugs in the foot-baths and the staff were offering customers drinks with hard alcohol in them. The person that did my nails didn't speak English and did a very bad job; my nails were thick with product and lifted after only one week.
