I had decent brows naturally after having to grow them back from years of over plucking, but they still needed to be filled in with a pencil to look as full as I wanted them. My wife came here for her eyebrows to be done by Jacki. The eyebrow procedure specifically was the pure ombre powder brows with microshading. Jacki works diligently here 6 days a week. 5 days on plus 1 day teaching. She is the one who draws your eyebrows out on your face. My wife said Jaclyn was the one who performed the micro shading. I found Jacki on Instagram a while ago and had followed her for over a year before I had the courage to reach out and book an appointment. My only regret is not reaching out to her sooner! She was very prompt in replying to me. She asked me various questions about my skin and what kind of skin I have. She asked me to send some pictures of my eyebrows. And from there... she was in absolute control. We talked a bit about what I wanted and what she recommended and we booked the soonest appointment she had for a weekend (I live far away so she did her best to accommodate me). A month or two passes by (YES SHE IS THAT BUSY) and I receive a text to remind me about my appointment and some tips before my appointment (no alcohol 8 hours prior, be a little early cause her schedule is tight, directions, forms of payment, etc.) When I got to her studio, I was impressed by how clean it was. She introduced herself, had me sign some paperwork, and then she got right into shaping my eyebrows. She makes you lie down, sit up, lie down, and constantly check on her work during the shaping process -- this is to make sure everything looks good and to confirm that you're happy with what she draws. Then the tattooing starts. The initial tattooing is to break the skin so that she can numb you for the rest of the process. The pain is very minimal and once the numbing kicks in, you feel nothing from then on out. I was lucky to come in on a day when one of her students was sitting in to watch. I didn't mind at all. And it was nice to hear Jacki talk to her students about my brows and the various strokes, pressures, and techniques she was using on me specifically. She is very outgoing and professional. And I encourage anyone that is thinking about ombré powder brows to reach out to her with any questions. I definitely love my brows and get many compliments from people -- especially during Covid since eyes and eyebrows are the only facial features people see nowadays. Parking is abundant.
