ONLY PLACE THAT CAN HELP!!!…read more So I accidentally took a nap on a very expensive pair of eyeglasses put them in a desk drawer and retired them.. was forced to buy another pair. Fast forward like 3 years later one of my twins (not naming which one) likely took my glasses and either threw them away or put them with the rest of our lost buried treasures of things that go missing. I was forced to wear my glasses that lived in the drawer when I worked at my desk then decided since I had the parts that their had to be a way to have them fixed. Went to a couple of places claiming they could fix but I was told they were unrepairable and should buy new ones.... I almost gave up and gave in. UNTIL! I came across FIXMYGLASSES online that is actually World Optic on state college they took me right in and rushed my glasses into surgery and miraculously brought them back to life!! Saying that I'm ecstatic right now would be an understatement! Thank you World Optic!

I found World Optic through a quick google and Reddit search for local, affordable glasses modifications. I placed an order/RMA on their website on 1/26/26, immediately received an email with a prepaid shipping label, and the. mailed out my new Miu Miu glasses on the same day. On Tuesday 1/27/27 I received email confirmation of delivery to their shop and a separate email with assessment options and prices. I paid $79 for the basic option of nose pad modification. They even preemptively chose the gold nose pad arms to compliment the frames (I didn't add specific cosmetic requests in my order). By Saturday 1/31, I gave them a call to ask about the status of my glasses which they let me know were shipping out that day. Today, 2/2, I received my brand new, perfectly fitting Miu Miu glasses and couldn't be any happier! I'm so excited to know that I can get more plastic frames now that I've found World Optic to add the nose pads for me!

I'm incredibly picky when it comes to glasses because I have a low bridge and just don't have a face for glasses. Jasmine welcomed me, and I let her know what kinds of styles I was looking for and that I was going to be super picky. She was totally patient, let me try on as many frames as I wanted, gave me helpful feedback, and didn't rush me at all. It was the best eyeglasses shopping experience I've ever had. I'm so happy with the pair I got. Jasmine also helped figure out my insurance and what it covered. Definitely recommend this Lens Crafters location.

The glasses that were ready were my non sunglasses but I can't wear my new prescription until I get my sunglasses and they still aren't ready and they don't know when they will be ready. They ask for you to give them a review after your visit and I would suggest wait until you receive everything before giving any reviews at all. I wouldn't recommend this store if you want your glasses fast. I am going to cancel my entire order and go buy them somewhere else. It looks like this location has more bad reviews then good ones so that should tell you something.

I must mention, my wife did make an appointment beforehand so it was scheduled. We waited about 20 minutes or so and she was called in. This Warby Parker is conveniently located inside the Brea Mall so I took the kids around the mall to browse the stores while she was at her appointment. Her appointment was about 30-45 minutes long. When she called me to head back, everything was ready to be paid for. The nice young lady that helped us (I might get her name wrong but I think her name was Alyssa) helped look through my insurance information because I can't remember the last time I looked into it. She gave me the break down on what my coverage was and what my allowance was for glasses. Safe to say, I'll be receiving a reimbursement check in the mail so I was happy. The selection of glasses was pretty good. They had a lot of styles to choose from for both men and women. The price range for them was also a solid bang for your buck in my opinion. I would recommend this place if you're looking for glasses (or sunglasses) just make sure to schedule an appointment so you can just walk in and not have to worry about them not being able to see you that day (yes, pun intended)

I've been coming to Eye Optics for the last few years. It all started when my family and I randomly…read morewandered into this small, unpretentious shop in the H-Mart shopping center. The owner who I'm pretty sure is named Andrew, unless he's been politely lying to me for years has always taken great care of us with zero issues and really fantastic customer service. When I heard they were moving to a different shopping center, I decided to follow. Caring, gentle, professional and he somehow puts up with my indecisiveness. Definitely made the right call! The 168 Market spot is perfect. I can grab Korean groceries, eat way too much at the food court, and handle my eyeglass emergencies all in one go. The new place is still low-key and unassuming, but don't let that fool you, the products are high-quality and the prices are surprisingly competitive. And here's the wild part: if he has your lenses in stock, he can get your glasses done in like 20-30 minutes. I'm not kidding. I've waited longer in line for boba. This kind of speed is something I'm used to in Asia, especially Korea, not here in the U.S. The shop is now located inside 168 Market in Hacienda Heights and it's actually a bigger space. It's clean, organized, uncluttered, basically the opposite of my desk at home. They even have a great selection of glasses for kids, which is something a lot of big chain stores seem to struggle with. Just my two cents. I'm no expert, just a very satisfied customer, but I can easily recommend Andrew and his shop for all your eyeglass needs. And hey, it probably won't mean anything, but feel free to ask Andrew for "the James deal." Lol.

I highly recommend this eye glass store to anyone who needs eyeglasses or sunglasses…read more We got a new prescription for my kid and quotes from doctor's office were pretty high and there were not many options for kid/teens. We were at 168 market and looking around and saw frames light weight and cute at this store. The owner/Andrew recommended blue light protection lenses and showed us how they work. Those frames are made with titanium and silicone and so light for kids to wear. I left prescription and it took 2 days and got our glasses. The owner/Andrew is very knowledgeable and explained well to us. The price is very reasonable. We are so happy with the service and we'll go back for more glasses in the future. They also have fashionable sunglasses at reasonable prices.

One of the best VSP providers around…read more I really enjoyed our experience with Aloha Family Optometry. Everyone was very kind, patient and welcoming. They handled my youngest child with a lot of patience and care and didn't even make us feel bad about it. They have a wide range of frames - they also had my preferred brand (ray ban). They also had a lot of nice options around lenses. I have super sensitive eyes and my prescription is thick. It was nice that I could get high index anti-glare lenses with protective anti-blue light coating. This is the bare minimum I need otherwise I can't drive at night. They also offer transitions on-top of that too, which was also cool. One of the best VSP supported options out there. The doctors were super nice and very thorough in the examination. To ensure that I'm providing an honest review, I do have to say that they offer you a lot of upsells around various types of tests. For me, I didn't mind it, because I have bad eyes and I want to make sure they are in good health. I usually opt-in for these additional services anyways (like retina imaging, et..). If you don't want these services, you can decline. I understand why they do it. It's partly to be helpful, but also, as a small practice, they are unable to process as many patients as large chains and are not able to spread their costs across a wider variety of locations and options. Therefore, they try to maximize revenue per patient to keep their practice running. Personally, I don't mind that and get it - and I like supporting small local businesses if I can. They are also not forceful or abrasive about it, which I appreciate. That would have been a turnoff for sure, but they are very nice about it. Finally, if you get your frames and lenses from here, they are under a 1 year warranty that's included in the price. So you can use your glasses worry free. For me, because glasses are so important in my daily life, I'm always worried about messing up new glasses so this helps a lot in giving me peace of mind to just use them! Thank you Aloha Optometry for taking care of me and my family's eye care needs!

Everyone at the front desk was super kind and Dr. Randy Chun was informative, kind, and very efficient. I had such a good experience that I even had my mother go to them and she said it was one of the most thorough exams she's ever gotten! Alyssa was also very patient and helpful while I looked at the various types of frames they had. I think that's the hardest part about going to the optometrist! And they were quick to inform me when my glasses were delayed in the lab. Overall, a great experience and will definitely return again.
