I almost never write Yelp reviews, but had such a good experience today, I just had to. I bought a pair of glasses from Optique 2 years ago, and a month or more ago accidentally broke off one of the temple pieces. I took it back and Waheed found that it couldn't be fixed, but jury-rigged a good semi-repair that ended up lasting longer than it should have needed to. He also found that there was another pair like mine available, and said he could switch my lenses to it. I'm supposed to go to the eye doctor soon, so he said he'd hold it for me so I could get my new lenses at the same time. I never got around to seeing the doctor, and the jury-rig finally gave out, so I went today to get my current lenses put into the new frame. He'd continued holding it, although he would have been well within his rights to put it back in stock, considering how long it had been! So he changed the lenses from the old frame to the new one, and charged significanly less than I expected! I plan to go back to him every time I get a new prescription - he's one of the best opticians I've ever known in almost 65 years of wearing glasses. read more

Being new to the area, the idea of finding new doctors, new dentists, new eye doctors etc. stresses me out lol but luckily, I didn't have to try a bunch of different eye doctors to find the one that's best for me. This is by far the best eye doctor I think I've ever been to in my life. The store is clean and bright when you walk in. The staff are very friendly and very professional (except for the one time I saw one of the staff dancing around in a black trash bag with another employee laughing and filming it when I just happened to walk in and surprise them LOL.) That was something that made me laugh and was even more endearing knowing that the staff like to have fun and aren't a bunch of aloof stiffs. The process from assessment, to eye screening, to purchase was super efficient and easy. The doctor even has one of those cool eye photo machines that takes a pic of your entire eye so you don't have to go through the awkwardness of dilation. And the added percentage off your order when you check in on Yelp was just the icing on the cake. Good service has become increasingly hard to come by since the Covid era, so I appreciate it all the more when people are attentive and efficient these days. I will definitely be recommending this spot to anyone who needs an eye doctor. read more

Wonderful and kind service, and quite possibly the prettiest (and only) "optique" I've seen! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and offered water. The store is pristine and each pair of glasses is displayed so nicely, I'm sure each was placed with care in their display cases. They boast an impressive array of beautiful designer frames! Dr. Fowler was so nice and pleasant to speak with. She answered all my questions and even took the time to explain things to me that were truly above and beyond, such as the photos taken for retinal imaging. Heck, I got my first pair of glasses at Eye See Optic in 2020 and they were picked out by the owner. Opulence, elegance, decadence.... Let me just say that as a girl who's worn glasses since the tender age of six, I have never experienced an optical shop quite like Eye See Optique! As soon as you enter the store, you feel like you're about to get the red carpet treatment. I attended their grand opening/trunk show, which was fantastic. I loved, loved, loved the open flow of the rooms, and the modern decor. It was refreshing to see that you could view their glasses from almost any angle in the shop. The frames are gorgeous & the selection is pretty unique, as they carry lines that are not readily available in many other shops. Every time I tried a pair, I swear I heard the music cue..."...ain't nobody dope as me, I'm just so fresh, so clean".... but, alas, as much as Eye See looks like it should be somewhere on Fifth Ave. or Rodeo Drive, the owner and optician, Waheed, has a familiar warmth and round-the-way vibe about him, which I think is awesome! He's very knowledgeable about his products, properly fitting his clients and patients....and like his shop, just an all-around class act. Of course, they have an optometrist on-site, which is like the icing on the cake. There's street parking, as well as the attached garage (first hour of parking is free - woot woot!). I just had a great appointment! I was due for an eye exam, and this store happens to be close by and accepts my insurance, so I thought I'd try it out. I usually go to Visionworks since they have locations everywhere and it's easy, but I wanted to try somewhere new this time. I'm so glad I did! I emailed them and got a response super fast for an appointment, and on a Sunday (!). That was the first sign this place would be customer oriented. My appointment with the doctor was good - normal appointment. The doctor told me I should start wearing my glasses at least once a week rather just contact lenses all the time because I have a pretty high prescription and she said it would be easier on my eyes. My glasses are super old and the prescription is old, so I thought I'd look around. The woman who was at the front desk helped me find frames she thought would look good on me. She picked out frames I never would've picked up for myself, and I loved one! So I bought them! I am really really excited to get them.
