Horrible experience, The place is nice and the people are friendly. Staff was a bit sluggish and the flow of the visit was unusual. That said it was also very personalized. They didn't offer any upgrades on lenses but when asked were knowledgeable about them. I bought 3 pairs and although much more expensive than others it was also better service. My issue came when I reserved my glasses and later paid my 1200.00 when my flex spending account card arrived. This happened on a Monday. On weds I missed a call from them and saturday I followed up expecting my glasses. I not only was made aware they never processed them but that they didnt even know I paid. They said they would process them that day. No apologies, solutions or acknowledgment of error. Basically they messed up and I was the only party of the two that paid for it. When you are treated this way it says a lot about how you are viewed. I was a paycheck and nothing more. Thats the industry and I get it. But if I am just a number I can get cheaper glasses elsewhere. Buyer beware! No accountability for actions here. Might aswell go to Wal-Mart. read more

(brown hair , tall , glasses on ) was rude again can you imagine that , you figure melody would have talked to her by now !!! she has my wife watch a 30 second video about contacts , then my wife puts in her contact lenses and takes them out and gets shuffled out of the room . we get a bill for are u ready $80.00 bucks for that minute and 30 seconds . so i ask my wife did she tell you about the fee and she say no , so i call and quess who i get,,, yep misses personality and here we go again with the rudeness finally she agrees my wife wasn't told about the $80 and takes it off , 2 days later i get a bill guess from who yep !! so i call and she's back to her old self again , she says my wife is a lair unbelievable we have to go through this , so we decided were done going somewhere else, we get another letter quess who again yep miss personality it's say basically look for another eye doctor . lol you got that right , melody your a sweetheart, but she's very rude when your not around its sad that you allow this to happen. i'm not the only one that has said something. ..... read more

This is a place I would recommend to everybody to visit and buy your prescription glasses. They're very pleasant to work with and they worked hard and was patience with me to get my prescription glasses the way I wanted. Last year when it was time for my yearly check up, I switched from the eye doctor who I'd been going to for years to Eye-Q Optometry. I hadn't been happy for awhile, but just hadn't taken time to actually find a new doctor. I finally decided it was time to make a change. The main reason I chose Eye-Q, other than the office being a provider on my insurance, was because I live in Lincoln and figured if I was going to make a change, I might as well make it as convenient for myself as possible. I must say I made the right choice. I am really pleased with the service I receive from Dr. Q. and her staff. Dr, Q. Is very personable and knowledgeable. Her passion for her job is very evident. I went in looking for new frames and I must say that my experience was not that great. When I walked in, the receptionist was at her desk and I mentioned that I wanted to get some frames. She asked, "Ummm...do you have an appointment?" and I said no. There was hesitancy when she spoke and she did not seem welcoming at all. The place was not even busy, as I was the only one there. The optician assisted me, and of all the people I encountered at this business, she was the only kind and helpful one (reason why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1). She told me that my new glasses would be ready within a week. A week later, I did not get a call back saying my glasses were ready for pickup. So I decided to give them a call just to follow up and the lady who answered said annoyingly, "Can I get an optician to call you back?!" I quickly replied in the same tone as her, "I'm only following up because I was told it'd only take a week and it's been more than that." Around two hours later, they called me to say that my glasses were "just" shipped from the lab and that it'd arrive between 2-4 p.m. To be honest, I think had I not called, it would probably not be ready for a few more days. So I went to pick up my glasses and another lady helped to adjust them. As soon as I put them on, I say humorously "oh wow, they're really loose!" and she says sarcastically "of course!". Yes, I understand that they're new and haven't been adjusted yet, but her comment was unnecessary. So she goes and adjusts them, and I decide that I no longer want to deal with her and I say thank you and leave. Thing is, she did not even clean them (the lens were covered with dust!). And I was not satisfied with my adjustments, my frames are crooked and still loose. Overall, looks like I won't be coming back here due to the rude staff and treatment. read more

I created a yelp account just to write about the exceptional service and compassion of Dr Q and her staff. We've been going to Dr Q for about 4 years, but last week really showed how much she cares about her patients. My son got something in his eye and we tried what we could at home to get it out. Already being after hours my wife recommended that we still call Dr Q. Great choice! From the time of the phone call we got ourselves to her office in 20 minutes. She beat us there and greeted us at the door. There was absolutely no sense of frustration or inconvenience from her. She also didn't try to hurry us in and out, but took the time to provide all the care my son needed. Awesome doc. Awesome care. I absolutely recommend her to anyone. read more

I only heard about this place by word of mouth through the other military spouses on Beale AFB. Boy were they right!! Everyone greeted us with smiles! The Dr and Technicians and Assistants were all very thorough and let my daughter and I know everything we needed to about the exams and other things especially since this was my daughter's very first eye exam. They were so patient and fantastic dealing one-one with my kid (which is very important to me) and myself. They even let us play trying on so many glasses!! Dr. Q is amazing!! We just arrived up to Bend Oregon only to come to find out that my son forgot his contacts at home. I called the office and they are closed, so I took a chance and called her cell phone. Dr. Q answered my call on her way out of the house to the doctors, she was so sweet and helpful. I love EYE Q. I've been going to Dr. Melody and her team for over two years now. They have taken such good care of me! Initially I just needed glasses (my first prescription glasses ever). They helped me every step of the way ...getting used to the progressive-type lens which scared me; but by the time I walked out of there; they were perfect in every way and I could see again on my drive home. Then, Dr. Melody discovered some other issues with me eyes during a routine check up, issues that were retina-related. She immediately had her team contact a specialist and within a few months, I had my consultations and surgeries. I'm not sure I could have gotten on their schedules so quickly without EYE Que's help with this. Most recently, without an appointment, I stopped in on two separate occasions to get different lens in my existing glasses. They took the time immediately to help me and within a week I had my new glasses. Its a great team of people and they really do work as a team to help you and make sure you have what you need. I'm so happy to have this office right here in our town....I strongly suggest you contact them when you have issues and concerns.
