I have no complaint with the professionalism if Dr Johnson - friendly and efficient. However, the lab they choose to use - located in Missouri - not so efficient. I've waited almost 5 weeks for a pair of glasses. I was told last week they were ready to ship but due to the winter storm it would take a couple days longer. This after I was told they would be available for pick up by Friday the week before. Today I was told the lab didn't know when they would be done - remember last week I was told they were ready to ship - hopeful they would get on the flight the next day - now apparently, they aren't even done. I feel like the office has been less than honest - I was originally told the glasses didn't pass some bogus inspection??? I'm very disappointed I. The customer service provided and that I had to chase down this order several times. I won't be returning to this facility and will seek eye care elsewhere. I really think they need to reconsider the "lab" they're using and maybe look more local. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Eye Concepts. From the receptionist to the staff and of course Dr. Simon. She is experienced and helped me with all my questions and concerns on my eyes. I would highly recommend the purchasing the additional testing which lets you see the back of your eye for any diseases, such as diabetes, high cholesterol etc. read more

Dr. Simon is great! Our family has been seeing her since we moved to AZ in 2008. (She previously practiced at Sam's Club). I love how easy going she is- I feel completely comfortable asking her any questions and she always takes the time to answer everything & make sure I'm educated when it comes to vision needs. I was also pleasantly surprised to discover that her office has replaced the much feared "puff of air" machine with a much less invasive hand held tool! She just keeps it in the exam room & the test only feels like an eyelash is tickling you. Brilliant! I'd highly recommend her to any family/friends. Her front office guy is great too. The office is modern and has a Great Selection. My husband and 10 year old daughter had trouble at a big box eye store and walked out. They found this gem online. They were able to get an appointment on the same day that they called, which was awesome since my daughter was super excited to get her first pair of glasses. Not having insurance and could not figure out what was wrong with my eye I contacted the office and they were able to get me right in with a fee what was very reasonable. Seeing Dr. Simon for the first time she made me feel welcomed and knew exactly what was wrong and the next day I was feeling much better with the prescription she suggested. I have been going to Dr. Simon for several years now and she always takes the time to answer my questions not to mention she goes out of her way to educate me on the reasons for my changing eyesight. It was amazing that they were able to check everything in my eye without dilating me with the updated technology they have in this office! Really impressed! I've seen them for 3 years for glasses. Today I went in for my first pair of contact. I was nervous and full of anxiety. She put my first pair of contacts in after a few tries. Dr. Simon was amazing! Then I met Jared up front again. He has helped me pick out all my glasses with complete honesty of what really looked best. I told him how nervous I was today and he replied "I'll be here for you all day if you need me!" He was encouraging and kind. They were all very honest and amazing teachers in my first try. Dr. Simon and the team at Eye Concepts Vision Center are absolutely terrific!! From the initial phone call, all the way through to selecting new frames, my experience was off the charts. They were able to get me in on a day that worked best for me and even sent my registration forms through email which made the process very easy. Shortly after I arrived for my appointment, Dr. Simon greeted me the lobby and from there made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire exam. I was pleased with the modern techniques and equipment available, and even got to see the images from the retina scan which was super cool!! When it was time to choose my frames, Jared took the time to break down my insurance benefits and made sure I got the best deal possible on the two pairs I chose. This was my first time seeing Dr. Simon and it was a great experience. The office staff was friendly and attentive and I had no wait. She did a thorough exam and listened to all of my concerns. She took her time and the prescription was perfect. Dr Simon is outgoing and friendly and makes you very comfortable.Her assistant in the eyeglass department was so informative-he taught me a number of things I did not know about lenses. I was able to make an appointment online from their website for the next day. The office staff is super friendly, as is Dr. Simon. She saw me right on time for my most recent appointment - no wait. They have a new (to me) machine that allows the inside of your eyeballs to be examined without dilation, and Dr. Simon shows you the image and explains it. That was pretty cool, especially since mine were healthy. Insurance didn't cover it but it was worth $19 extra to avoid Little Orphan Annie pupils. Their selection of frames isn't huge, but the variety was excellent. Plenty of stylish options. It took me a while to narrow it down (I can be pretty picky with frames), but I received personal attention from a very patient, helpful assistant the whole time while making my selection. I've been to this office twice now and can't imagine going anywhere else. I have a good VSP plan, so I can't vouch for the prices if you don't have insurance or if you have crappy insurance. read more

Dr Simon is the best. She remembered us from our exams a Sams Club a previous year. We coincidentally came to her current location because every other office we called was charging $60-$150 for contact lens exams. Here we were given a $30-$50 range on top of our $10 copay for glasses exam. Which was much more reasonable. They were very accommodating and efficient. She was so kind and able to squeeze me unscheduled between my husband's appointment and her next patient. read more
