Dr.Jackson and his assistant are excellent! unfortunately the practice has administrative issues-people are very polite but better communication between scheduling and check in are needed. Was scheduled months ago, then got a text that the Dr I scheduled with would be out of the office and I'd need to reschedule. Called twice and first person I talked to was confused and I was put on hold. I was told I had an appointment and the Dr would be in. I called back and got a second person who confirmed I would be seen by a different doctor than I originally booked with. No problem- needed the appointment and DrJackson is great. Got to my appointment early, checked in. Kept waiting well after scheduled start - ok I understand things go on in the field of medicin. Had to ask front desk multiple times about my appointmen. finally got called over 30 minutes past my appointment times. They have great Dra and services but they really need to coordinate better! read more

I am reviewing Eye Associates NW based on our experiences with Dr. Lam, Dr Le, and the worst optical department known to man. If there was an option to give zero stars I would've chosen that instead. Absolutely terrible. Our encounters with Dr. Lam from the first visit to now two years later her bedside manners haven't improved and the optical department has only gotten increasingly worse just like Dr. Lam's attitude. If you are someone who likes your provider to be rude/abrasive and super unfriendly then Dr. Lam is the one for you. If you want an optical department that doesn't have their shit together this is also the place for you. Their excuse is always that they're under new management and trying to get their organization in order but there is no excuse for the constant incompetence and there's absolutely no way any management team will be able to properly manage Dr. Lam's ability to drive patient's away with her argumentative, aggressive, unpleasant, and unprofessional behavior. Our daughter has been seeing Dr. Le as her ophthalmologist for the past four years, she's great with nice bedside manners and is good with kids, but the disappointing thing is that we we have come to find out that none of her chart notes correspond with any of our daughter's visits as of the last two years. We commute 1.5 hrs each way to find out today that at each of the appts our daughter has had every 6-9 months for the past two years has not been properly documented NOR do the providers in the same practice communicate with each others office which is the MOST bizarre thing we have ever dealt with. The weird thing is that the optometrist (Dr. Lam) is openly pissed off that we also still see the ophthalmologist (Dr.Le). The reason why we have done this for two years is because 1) Dr. Le doesn't dispense contacts and 2) because Dr. Lam is SO incredibly unlikable that we and our daughter do not feel comfortable with her and do not want to make the full switch to utilize just her as our daughters eye doctor because she is that unpleasant to be around. Initially we thought maybe we met her on a bad day but clearly she has a bad day every day. This practice has terrible communication from within from provider to provider, and also fails to communicate with us about what appointments are exams and which are not. We have been literally wasting our time for appointments that didn't mean anything and didn't get documented properly. We held out hope that things would get better and improve, because we and our daughter genuinely like Dr. Le and find her beside manners and her pediatric patient care to be comforting for our child, but to find out today that the visits our daughter has had recently haven't been properly charted and exams never happening that we thought was the whole purpose of the appts didn't occur is especially frustrating when I specifically asked in February if our daughters eyes were going to be dilated and they responded "nope we'll just check her eyes, everything looks great" to "today's appt is just about contacts you'll have to come back for an actual eye exam." How in the heck has there been NO eye exam performed when every single time we've brought our daughter in to see Dr. Le (most recently in Feb 2026) we got printed glasses prescription, even last May 2025 we brought our daughter for an appt with Dr. Lam and her assistant Andrea specifically told us that since she had just seen Dr. Le a couple days before that Dr. Lam said she didn't need to see to her. Then when I call the optical department regarding an issue with my daughter's contacts I am told that my daughter's prescription is expired. We saw Dr. Lam today and she says my daughters glasses prescription is also expired when we just saw Dr. Le in February, make it make sense! Using a call center that is nowhere near the providers office SUCKS. You can't get ahold of your care team without going through the call center and that's with excessive hold times too and nobody returns calls. The optical dept may not be part of the providers business any longer but they were never good prior to being under new management they're still unimproved and do not return phone calls. You can't contact via patient portal either which is super archaic and inconvenient! Super disappointing experiences! read more

Doctor Uman was good. My problem is this office's billing practices. 2 years ago I saw them, paid my bill (I didn't have vision insurance), and moved on. This year, I get an invoice in the mail showing two things: 1) a credit to my account for them overcharging me 2 years ago 2) an unexpected charge (unlike last time, this time I do have vision insurance). I was upset to learn that they held onto my refund this long without sending me a check or notifying me, and I was confused about the charge. I called and they said they're auditing all accounts to determine who is owed a refund. This may be true, but my account was not audited. The only reason why I found out about the overcharge is because I had a new appointment 2 years later. They also said my visit was a medical one not a routine one (even though I booked a routine visit), so they billed my medical insurance, not my vision insurance. I told them I'd like for them to waive the fee considering they held onto my money and were charging me more. They refused. Dr. Usan was good, but not enough for me to stick around. Terrible. No oversight. Optometrist gets agitated if you choose to see the Ophthalmologist. If you're seeing Dr. Le you're in good hands if you're stuck with Dr. Lam RUN, she and the way Eye Assoc. NW is run is the reason why this place gets 1 star, if negative zero stars was an option it would be well earned. She is prickly like a cactus, argumentative, and has TERRIBLE bedside manners. Every encounter with her has left us confused and uncomfortable by her abrasiveness. Our daughter WAS a patient up until a week ago--we chose to leave because of Dr.Lam's attitude. We were subjected to her bad attitude for two years and didn't need our daughter to feel uncomfortable or unsafe around her doctor. The office does not have any kind of cohesiveness nor do they communicate effe with each and generally just feels all over the place. Dr. Lam claimed that my daughters most recent appt w/Dr. Le in Feb wasn't listed in her charts and continued to claim that we were wrong in our memory of what type of appt the visit was. These are appts that we have been doing every 6-9 mos, so it's bizarre that there was no record of an eye exam and that we don't know what the appt is for. And then we were told at the current appt that she could not do a full eye exam and that we would have to reschedule to come back another day even after she was already an hour past the scheduled appt time. She also had no idea why we were there for the appt even though they are the ones who claimed my daughters prescription was expired even though we were just in the office in February. Dr. Lam's methodology lacks any kindness, common sense, efficiency, and respecting the patient's time. She definitely is not cut out to work anyone let alone kids! read more

I saw the doctor 1 hour after my scheduled appointment but had been checked in by an associate after waiting 45 minutes. I was recommended a prescription and doctor said she recommended that I fill it via Walgree's mail service, I asked how long in would take? A day or 2! I said no I wanted to fill it today. she said ok I'll give you the information. I assumed she was providing information about the prescription but instead had information on Walgreens mail in service! I said No I told you I want to fill it today. I was not going to write a review after a very disappointing experience at their offices, but they sent me a bill for things covered by my insurance. After ripping me off on my glasses (my pupils were dilated and the woman kept adding things without explaining what I was signing) they're trying to charge me for things my insurance covered. They said they accept my insurance and that my insurance would cover the new patient exam (which is overpriced considering how terrible the quality of the doctors here is). I experienced very unprofessional and rude behavior from the woman working at the front desk on [Aug 19, 2:30 PM appointment, 1101Madison Street, Suite600 ]. She was dismissive, unhelpful, and her attitude made the experience extremely unpleasant. She wouldn't assist me with check-in and insisted I use the kiosk. The kiosk itself had bugs in the system and terrible usability -- after scanning my driver's license, it didn't autofill any of my information, so it was basically useless. I went in for a yearly eye exam. Turned out they said my pressure was high and they were pretty sure I had glaucoma. They wanted me to start prescription eye drops ASAP and return in about a month for more tests. They didn't tell me any of the negative side effects (like the drops could change the color of your eyes or shrink your eyeball) just that I would have longer, thicker lashes. I decided to get a second opinion. Turns out, I have zero signs of glaucoma and my pressure was in a safe range. Now it is true that your eye pressure can change from day to day, like your blood pressure. But the new doctor says I don't even need to be seen again until next year. I would definitely get a second opinion. read more

The wait time on the phone to make an appointment was 39-minutes, but once through, the agent was very friendly and efficient. At the office, huge and bustling, clean and organized, I was called back soon after the allotted appointment time and was seen quite quickly, though the entire process still took an hour. The staff, young and knowledgeable, helped quickly and looked up answers to my questions that they were unsure of. (Namely, if medications being prescribed are safe for breastfeeding mothers, nursing children.) Review updated 12/4/2021 from 3 stars down to 1: another 35-minute hold time only to be given no further clarification as to the use of eye ointment prescribed 8-days earlier. I was told by the phone agent the doctor or his team would get back to me by the end of the day (6 hours from the time I called), and 4 days later, I have yet to receive any call back. I also emailed via the website while on hold, as the repetitive hold message suggests, and still, 4 days later haven't heard anything. This may be one of the busiest, yet is by far the worst eye doctor's offices I've ever been a patient of. Just because you CAN get an appointment, doesn't mean you should. Upon arrival, I completed the standard intake form, providing honest answers to routine questions about my eye health--headaches, sensitivity to light, and other common concerns--as patients are advised to do. When called back, I was led to a room and greeted by Dr. Cooperman, who immediately began showing me photos of eyelid surgeries, commenting on my "typical half lid." As someone who is half Asian, this felt very off putting and strange. I quickly clarified that I was there for a routine eye exam, not cosmetic advice. It became apparent that my appointment had been misrouted to this doctor, who is primarily an eyelid surgeon and not the correct individual to conduct the exam I scheduled. Within five minutes, I was told I had seen the wrong provider, and the appointment ended without any resolution. Imagine my shock when I received a bill for over $300 for a so-called "cosmetic consult"--something I never consented to or requested. My honest responses on the intake form were twisted into justification for this fraudulent charge. Attempts to resolve the issue have been met with months of silence, unhelpful staff, and supervisors who acknowledge the situation but claim their hands are tied. Despite never receiving any meaningful service or consultation, the office manager arbitrarily decided I was liable for the full cost of this unauthorized visit. I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Eye Associates Northwest. From the moment I booked my appointment, it was clear that customer service is not a priority here. Tamica, the person who scheduled my appointment, completely misspelled my last name (not even close), which caused major issues in verifying my new insurance when I arrived for my appointment (I was even early). When I arrived, the front desk--despite having four people working--directed me to check in at an electronic kiosk. I now see why they use a kiosk: it has more warmth and personality than the staff. The kiosk required me to scan my driver's license but didn't autofill any of my information, making it essentially useless. Since I couldn't input my insurance details, I asked for help from one of the four employees, none of whom were assisting anyone else, but appearing very busy. They all seemed robotic, offering no engagement or problem-solving. Eventually, Jade "helped" me, but because my name was misspelled, she couldn't locate my insurance. I had to Google my provider's number and call them myself. My insurance rep then asked to speak with Jade, at which point the mistake was finally realized. Throughout this, Jade's communication was poor, and she displayed zero customer service skills--like the rest of the front desk staff. At one point I even said to her, "are you working on this or just ignoring me?" It was truly bizarre. Did they purposely hire people with no customer service experience, or is working here just so miserable that no one cares? Once my insurance was supposedly sorted, the eye technician performed his exam, and he was decent. Then, while waiting for the doctor, another staff member, O'Brien, came in and claimed my insurance still wasn't resolved. I argued that it was and told him to check with Jade. Sure enough, he returned and confirmed it was fine. At this point, it felt like all they cared about was getting paid from my insurance rather than actually providing patient care. A total turn off! Yuck! Dr. Porter did a thorough exam, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. However, even she lacked warmth or good communication. She brought in a note-taker in this very small room without introducing him, without even acknowledging his presence, or even asking if it was okay by me that he was there - leaving me unsure whether he was an intern or if this was just standard practice. I also just pretended like he wasn't there as that is what it seemed like she wanted me to do. When in Rome, I guess. Oh, before the Dr. left I asked about getting my glasses prescription and she said the front desk would have it printed out. My eyes are dilated and I can't see anything close up. I get to the front desk, the 4 of them are still not with anyone, and I ask for my prescription and they say go and get it from the glasses desk, which is literally right next to the front desk with another 3 people. Two of them are with other customers and one of them is doing nothing. I tell the woman doing nothing that I want my prescription. She actually tells me to wait for one of the other two to finish and I need to sign the wait list. I can't see a thing to write anything on a sign in sheet because my eyes are dilated. I'm so over it that after about 30 seconds I just blurt out, "I just want my prescription, so I can leave." The woman doing nothing prints it out and still makes me sign for it on an iPad, like it's valuable or something, before she hands it to me. I can't read the iPad nor can I read the price of paper with my prescription, but upon looking at it right now, my sex is wrong and my address is wrong. What is wrong with these people? Incompetent and so many people working there. Overall, this was a strange, frustrating, and impersonal experience. Reminds me of body snatchers or maybe step ford wives. I wouldn't recommend this place, but luckily, I won't need to see a vision specialist again for a long while. read more

My initial appointment with my optometrist was ok. They did my prescription wrong, but I came back for another appointment, which was free, and it was corrected. At this point I transitioned to working with the optical team to order my contacts and my experience went from bad to worse. I was given trials, first of daily's because they had to order the monthly's since my prescription is so high. I eventually got the monthly's and they were good. I got busy at work and still had some contacts so I waited to order for a few months. When I got back in contact they told me I only had a daily's prescription and denied I was ever given monthly trials. I went into their office and they eventually found my monthly's prescription and once again ordered me some trials, which I was thankful for at the time. I went back to order my contacts after trying my trials again and once again they said I didn't have a monthly's prescription and hadn't just been given trials. I was so frustrated and confused at this point, but persisted because I needed my lenses. Finally they discovered my prescription, which I asked them to print out for me again and ordered them and said they would be ready for pick up in a few weeks. A week later I got a voicemail from my optometrists team saying that my prescription was good from January. I called back and the optics team said that they weren't supposed to have called me and they were doing internal checks and would get back to me. I never got a call to pick up my lenses and finally called them and they said they were ready. I went to pick them up and when I looked at them the prescription was wrong, 0.5 higher in both eyes and weren't for astigmatism. I have had the same prescription for 5 years, so I am very aware of what it should be. When I asked about why they were wrong, I was told that I had requested a prescription change to the optics staff during my last visit so they had my optometrist write a new prescription. To say I was shocked to hear this is an understatement. Not only because I hadn't asked for a prescription change, but the idea that even if I had, an optometrist would do this without speaking to me and seeing me again. They said there was nothing they could do since I had made this request, so now I have contacts I can't wear and my insurance was used up on these worthless contacts. Needless to say, I will not be returning and I would advise people that even if you see an optometrist here, order your contacts and glasses elsewhere. read more

She didn't really educate me on different brands, types. etc. I've never worn contacts before so honestly didn't know what to expect/ask. They used my lack of contacts knowledge against me and prescribed me a contacts brand that all my friends say suck. probably because they make the most money off selling this brand or something The doctors who do visual screening are fine. A big mistake to have come here. I am 55y.o. and have always had the best eye exam experience wherever I have gone until I saw Dr. Lam. Apparently others have similar experience. I waited for almost an hour and my actual time spent with her was about 7 minutes. I even had a better experience with the tech. Unfortunately, she was rude, condescending, and down right unprofessional. On top of that, the clinic has sent me three statements that I should not have received because my vision insurance covers the routine exam. I made the mistake of giving them my medical insurance that does not have vision coverage, and they billed my medical insurance. Each time I received a statement, I called the billing office and each time they said they would address it but nothing happened. How could they mess up the simplest task of billing a routine eye exam? Where is their integrity? You have lost a potential eye surgery client. Atrociously incompetent! I was referred here for a medical eye issue. They "lost" my referral and said I wasn't in their system after they called me to schedule an appointment. When I mentioned this, the scheduler accused me of making up that I was referred to them?!! I had to get the referral re-sent, then the next person scheduled me for a regular annual vision exam with an optometrist - when I was referred for a medical appointment with an ophthalmologist. They scheduled me for the wrong type of appointment & doctor. After coming in & discovering this, I was re-scheduled with an ophthalmologist that was retiring and had extremely limited availability. This doctor also kept canceling my appointments with less than 24hours notice, then making me wait another week or two to re-schedule even though my eye pressure was supposed to be checked every other week. This doctor also did not specialize in the condition I was referred for. Browsing the EANW website I found doctors who DO specialize in it. So the scheduling department is completely incompetent. Expect them to mess up your appointment scheduling in every possible way. Make sure you search their doctors online to make sure you get the right one for you before letting them assign you one. After learning the doctor was retiring (no one told me this, ever), they just kept saying "the doctor will return your call as soon as possible", then I'd never get a call back. I think I requested a call back about switching providers every few days for a couple weeks before I had to go in and do it in person to get an answer. It gets worse. I have never waited less than 30 minutes to be seen. It's typically about 30-40 minute wait EVERY time. I've tried coming in the early mornings and it was slightly better, instead more like 20-30 minutes. Admin staff are very rude and just want to sit on their phones & not work, with the exception of one person who has always been helpful. Then the icing on the cake: I needed to update my Rx & get new contacts. Scheduled an optometry exam & was dilated. I have never felt like I felt when they dilated me, and I've been having vision exams with dilation annually since I was a toddler! I told the optometrist that I didn't think it felt right, that my eyes had never felt like this when dilated before, and that I wasn't sure if I should get my Rx updated while feeling like that. The male doctor dismissed my concerns and waived me off saying "Oh that's normal, it will wear off". I am female, I'm not sure if this was misogyny or not but it felt like it. Well, the next day once I recovered from whatever they did to my eyes (it also took an abnormally long time to wear off), yup - completely wrong Rx. I went back in and was re-examined without dilation & given a new pair of contacts to trial. Next time I went in for a medical appointment I let Optometry know that the 2nd Rx was great and to please print me a copy. Well, the staff printed me a copy of the WRONG Rx again but updated the date on it to be the 2nd appointment date so I didn't notice at first. Thanks goodness I saved the labels from the 2nd trial pair, or else I would have spent hundreds of $ ordering new contacts with the wrong Rx! I'm so glad I double checked before spending $. So far the two ophthalmologists I have been seen by are "OK". One didn't have any ideas about what was wrong with me or how to help me, he just prescribed steroid eyedrops. The 2nd seemed more knowledgeable and prescribed me a Rx to try, but was super rushed and stressed out - this Dr did NOT want to listen to me. I'm going to see how this new Rx turns out, then decide whether to switch to another place. Be very careful that they give you the right printouts/documents. And if you are dilated there & experience abnormal effects, insist on getting your Rx done when you are not dilated. Don't expect any sort of useful help via the phone, and they lie and tell you you will get a call returned but they will never call. read more

Do not recommend. It's impossible to get your prescription or reach the correct office since they have a call line... you wait on hold, they cannot help you, then they hang up. I had to call billing to get my RX and reached the only helpful person there. They also asked me to pay my bill before I was even seen by the doctor, so I had to pay out of pocket and then deal with reimbursement-- which they couldn't invoice me on the spot so that took a month. Went to their Ballard location and needed to see if contacts are covered under my insurance- called and their billing department is in Las Vegas and then told me they don't do any insurance authorizations and that their Ballard office doesn't either. Also their patient portal hasn't worked the entire time I've been there so that doesn't exist to speak to a provider ever Like the setup of this place is literally unusable. Both my wife and I had a terrible experience at this clinic. My wife was left in her room for over an hour, and it was not until I asked how she was still in there (because my appointment was an hour later) that they finally, casually said, "Oh, we must have forgot about her." In addition, she was prescribed contact lenses and still, 1) has not received them, nor 2) has anyone called her back (after contacting and leaving messages three times) to re-schedule the appointment with the tech (the original appointment was cancelled one hour before the appointment because the tech called in sick). For myself, my prescription is not right. I cannot see with the prescribed contact lenses but, again, without having any option to get in touch with anyone who will call us back about any of these issues, I'm living with poor eyesight, supplementing with readers in addition to my contacts. To add to all of this, neither my insurance, nor my wife's has been billed, they simply continue to send us the bill for the entire visit, despite having provided all the insurance information up front, and then again over the phone when we received the initial invoice. Saw her for 8 minutes, got prescribed eye drops that cost $180 (even with insurance). Two weeks later no improvement so went back and really insisted on ophthalmologist. Waited for an hour as has he was running late. Continued eye drops and finally got better. Update: came back a second time to try and get dry eye treatment. Again prescribed eye drops (2 visits, 2 diff kinds) and no improvement. Will have to find a more effective ophthalmologist. read more

I had a 2 hour appointment set up at 8:00 AM. It was my first at the 1101 Ste 600 office. Traffic was terrible so I was 15 minutes late. They canceled my appointment. This was a really difficult appointment for me. First I had no idea how hard it is to get around in Seattle at 8:00 AM on Tuesday. I had to make work arrangements and give up two hours in traffic to get there and be literally punished by eye associates. If you feel like getting punished when trying to get health care. go to eye associates! They also will almost physically push you into buying their poor quality overpriced glasses. read more

I have been going to the Ballard Office and Dr. Lam for years and I love her. BUT I have recently had serious issues in my right eye which required retina surgery and now requires Cataract surgery. Almost 2 months ago I made an appointment for one week from now with Dr. Carroll, also at the Ballard Office. Well today I got a call that he had to do surgeries that day so they had to bump me out to a month from now. I am going to start looking for a different cataract doctor but at this point I will likely have to wait months more. So disappointed. Oh and as some reviews have alluded to - Their online site sucks. Plus I have always had to wait when I have come in for appointments - most of the time at least 30 minutes to an hour. It is a testament to how much I like Dr. Lam that I have stuck with them this long. **Update Edit: Raised the stars to 4 after a same day callback from Dr. Lam's tech - he got me an earlier appointment to see the surgeon and I am now scheduled for surgery. I do really like the people at this facility I just would like to see them get a little more organized. Since my surgery I have been really well taken care of and am really happy. when you check-in you are forced to do so at a kiosk even though there are two people sitting at the desk chatting about their tattoos. After sitting for over a half hour I asked if my "kiosk" check in was actually valid and they said yes. "go ahead and have a seat, they are under-staffed". (there were only 3 people in the huge waiting room) Finally they called me up and questioned me about what kind of eye exam I was here for. I was confused by this because they said previous that I could only come in at a certain time because of the particular type of test. it kinda felt like they didn't know what they were doing. Finally after 45 mins they said they couldn't perform that type of exam. Why did it take so long to tell me that? Why did they make an appointment they can't perform? Maybe because no one there cares. If you want professionalism in your medical provider you might want to go elsewhere. read more

Great medical care, horrendous office support staff. I guess that averages out to 3 stars? I have been a patient of EANW for decades. The actual medical care has been excellent, from multiple providers over the years, for everything from routine checkups to several surgeries. And that is the most important thing, of course. BUT, I am seriously considering going elsewhere because it is so awful trying to deal with the support staff. It has truly gone to hell since the pandemic, and they don't seem to be recovering. It's nearly impossible to reach them by phone, for anything other than to book an appointment (and that involves a lengthy wait). For anything else, multiple voicemail messages go unanswered. The Optical department is the WORST! Horribly understaffed, and most of them are marginally competent at best. I will never order glasses from them again, even if I don't change doctors. Billing is also a mess, and they can't / don't answer questions. read more

Three strikes, you are out. I agree with Kristen: "Atrociously incompetent" is absolutely true. Today I was supposed to get my third annual insurance-covered eye health exam at Eye Associates including a refraction and updated prescription for new glasses. The first and second appointments a year and two years ago were rife with multiple miscommunications and total website dysfunction but I thought I would give them one more chance because I liked my ophthalmologist there. Today, they struck out on EVERYTHING: They had me scheduled for a contact lens check, not a preventive health eye exam, and they told me my insurance doesn't cover refractions and would charge me $50 copay. (My insurance annual exam coverage DOES include refraction.) I have never dealt with such consistent administrative failure in any company, large or small. I walked out and will never return. A doctor is only as good as his/her front office/admin staff. I would think that all of the ophthalmologists working within Associated would fire their management company and hire one that knows what it's doing. You make the money, you provide the expertise, you are in control, why do you undermine your success by surrounding yourselves with people who don't know a thing about clinic administration or customer service? Horrid staff at the desk like I've never experienced... 3 of them clicking their cell phones while insisting I check in at the Kiosk which was stuck in Korean language. Even then- they wouldn't check me in but insisted on repairing the kiosk. It went downhill from there- I went to get new glasses rechecked and that department didn't show up that day even thou I called and had a followup appt with the eye doctor they told me to come back another day. It was only after I insisted on speaking with the manager was I able to retrieve my new glasses and get the check up. The doctor is not the problem but I won't be back. The worst "customer service" experience and your calls get routed to a call center in Idaho apparently that's their default - must have been the call center! read more

Good luck getting an appointment here. Even as a repeat patient they are completely unavailable. Called twice and the phone auto-disconnected after 45 min on hold. No joke. Tried making an appointment online as well but no luck. My husband called to schedule a lasik appointment after his consultation and they haven't gotten back to him after 2 months. Received a bill for $250 for an annual visit. Called VSP to see if they were billed. They told me no. 45 min hold to be told to leave a VM with the billing manager. Left vm with billing department. Front desk couldn't tell me what insurance they billed. This place is a joke. Avoid it at all cost. Worst experience in eye care in a long time. Do not go here. Visit was in October. Lvm November. December. Now with billing manager today for first hill. This is a joke. read more

I recommend getting your prescription here if you must go here at all. Do not under any circumstances get glasses here. They are understaffed, unreachable by phone and the help you get, if any, is minimal at best. You will get no help picking out a frame. Stay away if you have another place to go, this place is terrible. read more

Jeanna Hoyt screwed up my eye exam so my new glasses made my vision worse. The exam and glasses needed to be redone.

AMAZING LASIK EXPERIENCE with Dr. McKillop BRIEF HISTORY: I started wearing glasses when I was in about first grade. I transitioned to contact lens wear in high school and wore them about 12 hours a day. Though my vision was good with them, the coming and going of discomfort, dryness, possibility of infection, and cost of contact lens were always a burden on me. My current refractive error is about -7.00 and -6.00. EVALUATION: The worst part of the evaluation was having to be out of my contact lens for 2 weeks. But at the same time it was reassuring knowing that Dr. McKillop wanted to get the most accurate measurements for me. I felt like all my questions were all answered and the evaluation felt very thorough. Overall, I felt like I was in good hands. Debbie, the surgery scheduler, was also very patient with me. She was also very patient with me as we tried to find multiple pharmacies so that I could get the best price on my post op drops. DAY OF SURGERY: I was pretty nervous. When I entered the procedure room, the machines looked daunting as well. The procedure was so smooth and of course, painless. After I finished the first part of the procedure, making the flap with the laser, the "worst" was over. But it was so easy, I couldn't believe I was done with the worst part of the procedure. Dr. McKillop calmly explaining each step to me was something that helped a lot, as I wasn't afraid of what was to happen. I was never nervous during the procedure. Each step of the procedure was very short so I never felt strained. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and staff. AFTER LASER PROCEDURE: There was no pain. I was light sensitive on the way home, but after my nap, I was amazed that my vision was this clear, vision without my contacts! In fact, my vision was so clear and comfortable, I was able to go to work the next day. OTHER: The overall process, from evaluation to the procedure and to the healing as well, went so smoothly and better than I could have expected. I never had any pain during or after the procedure. 1 week post LASIK, I am using artificial tears about 1-3 times a day. Now 2 weeks after LASIK, my vision is remains so clear. I am using artificial tears maybe about once a day. Everyday I am still surprised here and there with my vision. It feels odd to shower and be able to see, or waking up in the morning with clear vision. I cannot recommend this LASIK procedure enough. read more

I really debated writing this because I own a small business myself and I hate to give anyone a bad rating but their lack of support ultimately is leading me to do this. This is my summary of events on Saturday 5/29/2021. I am a patient of the Seattle (Madison) location. lost my glasses in the ocean and am desperate because without my glasses I really can't do anything like drive, etc. I called the clinic, left a message with their answering service for after-hours emergencies, and to their credit I did get a call from the Dr. on call. I believe it was Dr. Ryan P. Lange. I explained the situation and said I need to get a copy of my eye glass prescription so that I can try to get some glasses on an emergency location from a business near where I am. Besides being rude and arrogant, he had no sympathy regarding my situation and said "you will just have to tough it out" and that "this line was for emergencies"! I mean if my situation is not an emergency for him, it certainly is an emergency for me. He said he sees my prescription but doesn't have a way to send it to me and I would have to call after the holiday (Tuesday) and talk to someone then. I can't believe the treatment I received nor can I believe such a large operation has such a lousy IT system that doesn't allow the on call Dr. to send out something as basic and necessary as a patient's prescription in an emergency situation. Not happy with this business, with the on call Dr. and absolutely not happy that there is no way for me to get my prescription while on holiday and no way to see properly for most of the things I need to do. Terrible. I wish there was an option for zero star as they totally failed me today!!!! read more
