Was scheduled months ago, then got a text that the Dr I scheduled with would be out of the office and I'd need to reschedule. Called twice and first person I talked to was confused and I was put on hold. I was told I had an appointment and the Dr would be in. I called back and got a second person who confirmed I would be seen by a different doctor than I originally booked with. No problem- needed the appointment and DrJackson is great. Got to my appointment early, checked in. Kept waiting well after scheduled start - ok I understand things go on in the field of medicin. Had to ask front desk multiple times about my appointmen. finally got called over 30 minutes past my appointment times. They have great Dra and services but they really need to coordinate better!

After ripping me off on my glasses (my pupils were dilated and the woman kept adding things without explaining what I was signing) they're trying to charge me for things my insurance covered. They said they accept my insurance and that my insurance would cover the new patient exam (which is overpriced considering how terrible the quality of the doctors here is). My appointment started an hour late and they offered products that I don't think a doctor not trying to scam you would offer. Do not go here. Scam alert!

I would not recommend Dr. Khann…read more His staff is great, very helpful, very friendly. The billing staff made a mistake, but that's ok, we're all human. My problem is that Dr. Khann locked a metal clamp onto my half-numbed eyelid and flipped it over so roughly that the instrument was gouging through the over turned skin into the top of my eyeball. The discomfort was shocking, and my body reactively pulled away. Dr. Khann lost his temper (?) at this immediately and yelled at me that I could not move like that and if I did he would be unable to perform the operation. I told him that he was pressing hard against my eye, I could not control the reaction, and to be a little more careful. He did so, and we got through the rest of the procedure. To his credit, for the rest of the procedure he apologized for the outburst and several times after. My tolerance for pain is high. I've broken bones, had pins drilled into bones, surgery on organs, a stick rammed down my throat. I can handle pain, but eyes are different from the rest of your body. They are HIGHLY reactive and need a little patience and care and I have to believe any eye doctor would know these things and go a little easy, a little slow. I'm not going back.

Finally the eye doctor (saw Zollman and the other Edmonds MD) sent me a referral to an eye surgeon. Guess what, it's not that I am getting old, my eye issues are because I have posterior vitreous detachment in both eyes! On April 10, 2025, I had a highly disappointing experience at Eye Associates Northwest in Edmonds,…read moreWA, with Dr. Ted Zollman. Despite some positive aspects, the overall visit was marred by significant issues that overshadowed any redeeming qualities. I was genuinely impressed by the scheduler's dedication. When I called to book an appointment for one doctor, the scheduler spent considerable time verifying my VSP insurance details and confirming which doctors were in-network to ensure I had no out-of-pocket costs. This level of care was exceptional, especially given I should know since twice a week or so I talk to schedulers about my numerous medical appointments each month. This level of care was exceptional, especially given my numerous medical appointments each month. I was so impressed that I shared this experience with others, as I had never encountered such a thorough scheduler before. After my initial experience I was optimistic about how this would likely go. However, the positive impression ended there. Upon arrival I confirmed with the that I would have no out-of-pocket costs. Unfortunately, the appointment quickly went downhill. I didn't realize they had sent me an email with forms to fill out prior to the visit. When I arrived, I was handed what felt like a "bible" of forms to complete. As a compliance lawyer, I found the volume of paperwork excessive, especially since it omitted critical information like potential out-of-pocket charges. This lack of transparency was frustrating and felt like more than an oversight. The office was experiencing an internet outage, rendering their tablets and software inoperable. Despite this, they insisted on proceeding with the appointment, claiming everything would be fine. The eye exam was shockingly brief and inadequate. The technician used my old prescription, flipped through only a few (less than twenty lenses), in the exam machine, and concluded my prescription hadn't changed--all while struggling to manually record the information on paper due to the lack of digital systems. I understand the stress of dealing with an internet outage. I get it. I would lose it if I lost the internet access that largely drove the procedures at my business. Still, I wouldn't have provided this low level of service. Instead, I would have closed that day. This is the opposite experience of prior reviews I have written about my experiences at Bella Vision Bothell and Dr. Varon at Kaiser in Pacific Center downtown Seattle who upon discovering I have an eye infection, insisting that I needed to get my infection cleared up and then come back several times for no charge to confirm my prescription is EXACTLY correct. My interaction with Dr. Zollman lasted a mere five minutes, with no meaningful discussion or thorough evaluation. On the positive side, it was clear Dr. Zollman had read my chart before walking in. Upon his arrival, he asked me a few relevant questions. However, he spent more time outside the exam room worrying about the printer and going with the technician's suggestions entirely. I went in there knowing my prescription needed to be changed. Very sad the whole visit was a waste of money, time and energy. To make matters worse, a month later, I received a bill for $150, which included a $50 charge for who knows what. $100 was attributed to a "contact lens fitting" that was never discussed and which I was explicitly told would by both the intake/scheduler and office manager that the office visit required no copay and fully-covered by my VSP insurance. I called today and thought that the person who answered the phone in billing was nice, professional and easy to understand. I didn't think explaining charges that shouldn't be there was an easy job and I sympathized. She acknowledged the $50 was an error and reduced the bill to $100. This error, combined with the joke services, lack of transparency, felt deceptive and like a huge scam. I would normally elevate this and fight it out but I am under serious orders not to stress because of my late-stage auto immune disease. Further, I just recently paid off every bill and credit card. Consequently, fighting this seemed like more hassle than it was worth. This Eye Associates NW have most of their doctors rotating from one clinic to another throughout the week. The doctor, (a real MD,) is in the building but is completely fine allowing the technicians to insufficiently determine patients' prescriptions. This office and group of doctors of Eye Associates Northwest seems like more of a numbers game with some random upcharge rather than a real eye exam. I would not recommend. Instead you should go to your local mall/Costco eye exam place and try to get an exam within a day or two.

UW Medicine Primary Care at Belltown - Bad "doctors," bad people. I have to learn how to trust doctors again after my experiences with my spinal surgery and the UW.

Things I've been diagnosed with by Virginia Mason after resident PCPs at the UW said I was faking…read morethe head, neck, and back pain I suffered from not even 6 months out from a failed neck surgery that resulted in multiple government investigations and the firing of my spinal surgeon: Chiari brain malformation, missed dozens of times by every UW radiologist and neurologist I ever encountered. Utterly inept. Spinal cord damage Occipital neuralgia, a painful condition that is described as debilitating by all credible sources. The UW wanted to stop all treatment and pain care: if they had been successful, I would be screaming in bed all day, every day, instead of living my life. They were trying to hurt me. Thoracic scoliosis (also missed by every single UW employee, even though it was glaringly obvious to even a layman in my imaging) Several missed Tarlov cysts in my spine I was told I need an almost complete surgical ribcage reconstruction due to numerous abnormalities likely stemming from further discovered abnormalities in my spine and pelvis. I had 100% government disability in addition to my very recent failed neck surgery: still, untrained, unspecialized doctors told me I was lying for attention. Hilary Iskin even told me she didn't bother to look through my chart, but had still decided I was faking it based off of pure prejudice and preconceived notions. David Rink used past sexual violence committed against me as psychological "evidence" that I was fabricating my profound and extensively documented health conditions, and put fraudulent and libelous information in my chart. Both of them refused to make any referrals for me to speak to specialists - they even refused to refer me to an orthopedist after my spinal surgery. They hurt and stymied me and my family. The fact that I have been violently raped (with legal proceedings) made David Rink inherently suspicious of my ability to report honestly about my body. This is blatant and insidious misogyny, and Rink should lose his ability to access the charts of any female patients for the rest of his life. He should not have the ability to work with any victims ever again. He should not be in medicine. Hospital staff asked me about the rape, and Rink pounced on that information - I never would've told him I was assaulted, as he had already raised his voice at me by this point for asking questions about his proposed "treatment" (only antidepressants, which time.com says is a toxic, widespread, and misogynistic practice that sexist doctors use to invalidate disbelieved chronically ill women). Sexual/psychological history is supposed to be protected information in patient charts. I feel violated a second time, as he used my assault that he learned about without my knowledge or consent to revictimize me, all because I had the gall to have been a victim, and to have trauma, pain, and a medical history that he wasn't competent, integrous, or academically curious enough to decipher. I believe he is hateful, profoundly judgmental, sexist (an accusation I take seriously and have never before levied against anyone), and deeply dangerous to the well-being of anyone he doesn't personally understand ... which will be many, as he's still in training. Iskin is the sort of woman who says she champions women's rights, but is actually a judgmental mean girl - she was even weirdly passive aggressive about my skirt. Please, if you're a woman, consider a different doctor. She's stereotypically medically misogynistic and does not believe women's pain. Despite having 9 weeks to prepare for my appointment, she read nothing about me, and then declared nothing was wrong because she saw nothing (!!). Her medical neglect and malpractice snowballed into the rest of the abuse I suffered at the UW. Her cruelty, laziness, and abject lack of care or consideration changed the course of my life. I wonder what it is about me that made Iskin decide to dismiss me entirely before even speaking to me. My age? My sex? My autism? My disability? ... we'll find out in court. The UW constitutionally changed how I feel about doctors: I was diagnosed with C-PTSD by a therapist who specializes in medical trauma. I feel so much fear that I no longer go to appointments without an advocate, which has changed my life significantly as I'm disabled and have many regular appointments. I'm confident I almost died multiple times during a string of UW hospitalizations involving spinal procedures with major complications. The UW is a misogynistic and incompetent organization with residents who hurt, maim, and kill. At the encouragement of my new medical team, I'll be suing, and speaking publicly about these "doctors" and the UW for the rest of my life. More in my previous reviews. (Don't listen to the reviews on the UW Medicine website - you can't submit reviews online and won't find a single physician rated under 4.8, it's corrupt. Turn to healthgrades, where these doctors have a 1 or a 2 rating.)
