Told her I didn't want to do that, if she could just take me information down while I have her and schedule me that'd be great. I went in as a new patient today for an eye exam. I paid $20 copay upon arriving. Hours later I receive another text saying I owe $60 copay for contact lens fitting. Why wasn't this discussed with me when I was in the office? It feels super shady. read more

2 stars is to signify that they could have done better. Everyone in this office was polite and the exam itself was pleasant enough. The optometrist is kind and they tend to have rotating interns to help them as well. I enjoyed the layout of the place and all my interactions during my two visits. So why 2 stars? It's their billing. The first visit was for the examination. Which I did and opted in for a retina scan. They gave me contacts to take home and they charge me over my $10 copay, for $60 contact fitting, $70 in total. Came back in after a week to purchase the contacts that worked best. I asked to get contacts that I could get for "free" under my insurance. They told me I could get 6-months of contacts covered by insurance. So I opt for that option. No mention of any further money being owed and as I opted for what I could get for "free" under insurance that made sense to me. They called me after I had left the office to inform me that I would need to pay $80 more for my contacts, which had already been ordered. They had made a mistake on what I could get for "free" and would need to charge me further. I obliged. Then within a month, they sent me a bill for $39, which was one of those bills that looked like it would go into collections. I immediately called the number. No answer. Called again a few days later at a different time, no answer. I eventually texted and they eventually texted and then called me back. I paid the last bit that I owed, which I was told for the retina scan. In total I had paid $189 even though I'm insured. Which, sure, perhaps that's not bad. It's that when I came back to the office, the second time, nothing was mentioned about owing them further money. Also, over a month later, once the contacts had come in, I went back to grab them, and no mention of money owed. It was just put into collections and required me to call them, several times. They did admit to making mistakes but in no way doing anything to rectify them on their end just left a bad taste. I'm not looking for anything for free, mind you, it's that in the end I felt mistreated in the process. They were still, very polite, and everyone I interacted with were properly kind. It's a great office and likely, if they make no mistakes with billing, your mileage will be better. My experience, though, was a 2-star one. read more

Ambience. A Service. A Price. A Very comfortable modern newer Bldg. Right next to the dominoes. And across from Safeway. I used the downstairs garage of Safeway for parking. Not sure if they had a private parking lot. Checking in for appointment has been very easy and glad they constantly reminded me of my appt thru text and phone calls close to appt time. Good idea! There is a $35 no show fee. Receptionist was friendly , helpful and through with checking in. The assistant and optometrist were very friendly and helpful. It's been 25 years since my last appt and updating prescription. Call to check and see if they accept your insurance. Very relaxing and professional and in and out within the hour. Too bad they only had about 10 pairs of glasses I could choose that my insurance would pick up at a discounted cost. Decided to buy from Globe Optical downtown Seattle as my insurance had more options at their store. I'm a FaN! read more

Was in Seattle to visit my in laws and learned my MIL needed new glasses. A friend recommended this place so we went here. Turned out it was a great recommendation. Everyone there was so nice and helpful. They took the time to understand my MIL's needs and the doctor explained some medical things in a way both of us could easily understand. If I lived in the area I would make this my go to place to get glasses and eye exams. read more

I just found a true gem of an optical office! As a first time patient anywhere, I always wonder about the upcoming experience -- I was extremely satisfied here. From front desk to exam team to Dr Corpuz, they were extremely polite/friendly, were very clear about insurance coverage for basic and extra procedures, and very efficient as a team from one step of my appointment to the next. Dr Corpuz, at the end of the visit, took time to explain my eye condition, technical terms, etc. Finally, the office was stylish, modern - it felt new. I will absolutely return. read more

I am new to Seattle and wanted to find an optometrist. Good luck making an appointment at this place. I called, no one answered so I left a message with my name and phone number. Two seconds later, I received a text asking what I needed. I responded that I'd like to make an appointment. I received another text asking if I was new and what my name was. I responded and received another text asking for my name and date of birth. At this point I'm starting to get a weird vibe, like why aren't they calling me. Another text wanting to know if I had insurance. I responded yes and they were in plan. Another text wanting my insurance info and member number. Okay, that was it. I responded that I wasn't comfortable texting all that info and would just go elsewhere. Who was I actually texting? And why didn't they call me? Providing personal info via text is not advisable as it's not secure. I will find a different provider that's willing to take my phone call. read more

I'm done with this office. No one ever answers the phone when I try to make a new appointment. Always directed to leave a message. This is my biggest grief with this place. I've been going here for a few years now. Every visit has been pretty impersonal and in no way do they make you feel like they truly care for your health. I'm not sure why I even continued going here besides laziness of finding a new eye doctor. It's all in and out, wham bam thank you ma'am. 0 star. Worst experience. The lady at the front desk doesn't give me any information when I am choosing the glasses. After I picked up my glasses, I was unable to wear it because of the weird reflection and headaches. And there is no refund policy. The lady at the front desk said she is sorry that I cannot wear my glasses, but they do not have any responsibility. They opened the clinic only to earn money. Wether you have a pair of functioning glasses is not their business. They pretend to be nice before you make the payment. And become very arrogant and do not want to speak to you after they get the check. Is the existence of a clinic supposed to help me with choosing a suitable glasses? No, not at this clinic. I call it a robbery. After checking other reviews for this so called optical group, I am surprised that they can get away with anything they are doing. This place should be shut down. read more

This clinic was wonderful from the start to finish! The front desk made getting an appointment easy, they helped me understand my health insurance and the different vision benefits I had, and gave both me and my husband great suggestions for glasses. The providers we both saw were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. It was overall a great experience, we both got our contacts within a few days of ordering, they had parking, and it was easy to find. Would highly recommend! read more
