Storage unit OF MY DREAMS!…read more In a rush, late dropping off my giant Penske pulling a car carrier towing my own truck behind, coming from Texas, I'm not even set up yet with a storage unit. No time for anything. No planning just driving and caretaking a blind deaf sick tiny doggie with cancer, and my colon sealed shut, needing to get us both moved here to get to Penn Medd. It only took me 22 days and 22 nights in hotels.... Yup, okay so right as I'm feeling my final organ trying to fail and my 96 pound body pounding in hypertension, I've got to figure out where to unload an entire Penske alone late night asap... I get on Yelp! and search for anything near the Penske drop off site, I see this place, I see I can DIAL THE ENTIRE MOVE IN PROCESS ONLINE IN LIKE 5 MINUTES?! What???? From a gas station nearby on my phone? Okay, and the price? I thought it was a scam at first. It didn't seem normal. It was real. I emailed the manager as I was arriving just as the gate access would be closing for the night. They get back to me with solutions. I show up, and I punch in my code and the gate just flies up high in the sky like some futuristic creation I've not yet experienced, there were lots of carts that worked and worked great, the lights turn on, doors automatically opening and closing, I emptied that truck and I got everything in that perfectly cleaned and equipped with a welcome bag and lock and boom I drove out.... After using their clean bathroom. My dog loved the grass too. I survived the night and collapsed in a bed at some Mendenhall Inn at 7am, and my (disabled) service scent trained doggie and I just slept there for 3 nights to decompress, and I had I not had this easy accommodating last second storage unit experience exactly like this? (And rewards points for the inn)... I think we'd be dead. So YES TO THIS ! ! ! Hallelujah Amen

This place is horrible!!!…read more The manager and his worker bee arent very communicative/friendly. This property manager hould have made it clear when we got the unit that they do not have a dumpster for tenants that have purchased units there. I've NEVER been to a storage that did not have a dumpster. I was told "what you bring in here it must leave with you". Needless to say we will be moving our furniture.

BE AWARE!!! Upon reading the other reviews it's obvious that this company runs a scam. After my…read moremove I received a random charge of $200 on my credit card. When I called to ask about this they told me there was a problem with their system and refunded me. This to me sounds like fraud especially since another reviewer claimed the same thing happened to them. My move was disastrous. One mover was smoking weed, not packing furniture right, leaving pieces left and right. The movers lost all the hardware for my bed frame and I was left with a pile of useless junk. They dented the walls, ceilings, scratched the hardwood floors, and ruined everything single piece of furniture. They also sat around for an extra 2.5 hours after the move was over so that they could charge for overtime. The movers told me that I could just file a claim for the damages and I would get reimbursed. After their 90 day wait period for claims turn around, I was denied of everything. Their quote is also a complete lie. There were multiple fees that were left out of the initial quote, making their final charge 3x more than what I was quoted. Do yourself a favor and go with another company. Edit: The company owner's pitiful response to this post is their way of pretending they care about customer service. Multiple emails and phone calls have been made since with no response from this company. They DO NOT care about their customers experience, only want your money. STAY AWAY. It has been 5 months since my move and issues still never resolved, they've disappeared and ignored me since getting their money.

Have received random charges to my credit card , which I have had to dispute. Older gentleman Bruce has been extraordinarily rude and tried "Shooing" me, a paying customer away when I came to their office with a complaint. When you charge a premium price, customers expect to receive a no-frills premium service. You will not get a premium service here, and you'll likely have the same subpar experience that I did.

I walked into this place on a Saturday to view storage units and asked for prices. I was told by…read morean extremely rude older gentleman they don't give out pricing and I should know what I am looking for. I eventually got the price list and because of time and location, I signed for 2 months on another day with a different sales person. I went back the following weekend to add things to my storage unit and I was harassed by the first older gentleman accusing me of giving false information so he deactivated my code. This time there was a manager on duty that realized whoever imputed my information made a mistake. No one apologized for the mistake and mistreatment, they just reactivated my code. I walked around the back of the building and I heard the 2 older gentlemen talking aggressively and obnoxiously about me as they sat in their chairs. I walked right up to them so they knew I heard every word. They were incredulous. I requested a call from the owner and I was told his name is Jordon and he would call me. I google Jordon's name and did research and found out he is not the owner but a son who should not be running a business. Jordon called me and was as belligerent as the old men in his office. He told me he doesn't have to give out pricing and he doesn't need to because they are always busy. Obviously, this young Villanova graduate didn't learn anything in school about customer service. It is safe to say my belongings will be gone from this place in a month. Following this mistreatment, I feel unsafe going along because of the aggressive behaviour that I endured by the old man.

PLEASE, PLEASE pay attention to this. MakeSpace IS A SCAM…read more After being told my movers would arrive between 8-11am I received a text message at 10:50 from the moving team saying, "we'll be there in 20-30 depending on traffic". 50 minutes later, nothing. I so texted them and received a message saying, "we're en route". At this point it was 11:45 -- 45 MIN LATE FROM THE LAST POINT OF THE TIME WINDOW. Then about 20-25 minutes later, I received a message from a customer service agent - not the movers who had been texting me - saying there was nowhere to park, so they left. Interesting, because there were places to park, including where I parked my car to ensure there was a designated spot. The customer service rep was very apologetic and said she'd call the team. She called them, and called me back maybe 40 minutes later only to say she couldn't help cause they had nowhere to park. WHO DOES THAT? They could text updates on their arrival, but when they didn't see immediate parking, said nothing. Keep in mind, this was the last day of the month. I was moving from Philadelphia to Boston that day. So I now had to engineer a move to Boston the same day (now at about 1:30pm). Needless to say, no moving company could help. I looked at a previous Uhaul quote I'd gotten when I was considering moving myself -- the truck rental would have been $450. Uhaul, Ryder, and Budget all had no trucks within 150mi. of Philadelphia on the day of the move. Penske did -- so I drove 45 minutes to pick it up, paying $1200 for the rental. Of course, I was moving from a 3rd floor walk up apartment, which was too much to move myself with the time crunch. I was forced to hire people off TaskRabbit since no actual movers could accommodate the same day scheduling. Like the truck, I paid a significant premium for same day help. The two gents, who were far from professional movers, with me, were able to get my stuff in the truck in 3 hours. All in, I paid $600 for those two helpers. Worst of all, I went back and looked at the quotes I'd gotten for a full-service move from Philly to Boston (all in the $1,400-1,700 range). Instead, I ended up paying just over $2k, because MakeSpace is a SCAM. Maybe a bad outing, you say? Just bad luck? I thought so, too. Don't get me wrong, under no circumstances would an experience this bad be allowable, but then I met my friend's new girlfriend -- who HAD THE EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE. As did her friend, who moved the same week she had from NYC to Philly. They often DO NOT SHOW, do not call, and leave you to figure it out. I paid just over $2,000 to move myself! Not leaving Philly until 9pm and arriving in Boston to my new apartment at 3am. Thankfully I was able to get out the same day and avoid having to deal with my old apartment and property manager to pay additional rent. All-in-all, the worst experience ever. Whatever you do, do not risk it by using this "company".

My experience with All My Sons Moving (32 Coles Ave, Cherry Hill Township, NJ and All My Sons…read moreCorporate Office in Texas) has been the worst service experience I have ever had, and their public ratings across major platforms reflect exactly why so many customers report similar issues. Across multiple review sites, this company consistently scores poorly: * Google: Approximately 3.9 stars, with thousands of reviews * Yelp: Approximately 1.5-2 stars, with a long history of complaints * Better Business Bureau (BBB): 1.97 stars across more than 1,000 customer reviews, despite being "accredited" These ratings are not a coincidence -- they mirror the exact problems I experienced. Please don't take the chances that I did and use this company. You'll be very sorry. I hired All My Sons for what should have been a simple, professionally handled move within Pennsylvania. Instead, the company sent a crew from their New Jersey branch, and from the moment they arrived, the situation was unacceptable. The movers smelled strongly of weed, and the odor was so overwhelming that it transferred onto my belongings, the moving blankets, and into my home. Despite being quoted $1,500 for a move that originally included far more items than we ultimately needed moved, the crew stalled for hours, took an unreasonable amount of time to get set up, and barely worked. They attempted to charge us $200 per hour for 12 hours to move fewer than ten pieces of furniture and no boxes--time that was inflated entirely due to their own lack of productivity. They even took apart furniture unnecessarily, removing every screw they could find, and then struggled to reassemble anything, which appeared to be a deliberate tactic to keep the clock running. To make matters worse, they forced us to pay immediately before unloading the furniture, even though the job was nowhere near complete and their performance had already been unacceptable. They refused to allow me to inspect my furniture after they brought it in. They were holding my furniture in their truck until I provided the person on the phone with a credit card to pay for the move. By 10 p.m., exhausted and frustrated, we had no choice but to let them leave. My husband and I ended up moving most of the furniture ourselves, unwrapping and assembling items they were supposed to handle. The next day, we had to take two cars and make multiple trips just to move basic items like totes and clothing bags--items we specifically hired them to move. Damage Discovered - In daylight, the true extent of the damage became clear. The movers had: * Drilled holes through three credenzas, including over ten holes on the wrong side of two of them * Split a 500+ lb wooden and marble credenza by placing it on its side on a dolly instead of carrying it properly * Stained my couch * Broken a $1,500 art piece * Scratched $1,200 chairs Their lack of training and care was obvious, and their behavior raised serious concerns about whether they were under the influence while handling our property. Claims Process & Geoff Burgess I filed a claim for nearly $10,000 in damages, providing receipts, photos, and videos--evidence the company was aware of from the moment the damage occurred. Since my move at the end of December, I have been going back and forth with All My Sons for months. It is now March, and they have: * Refused to settle * Refused to explain their employees' behavior * Refused to address the lack of training or drug testing * Refused to replace or compensate me for the extensive damage The claims representative, Geoff Burgess, has been a complete roadblock. He: * Refuses to review any of the material proof * Refuses to provide documentation * Refuses to acknowledge the severity of the damage * Blocks any attempt to escalate the issue I even tried going to his supervisor and to customer service, and no one will do anything. Every path leads back to Geoff, who simply repeats the same scripted denial. Their final response was that their insurance would only cover $644 under "limited liability," and they refused to refund the $1,500 I paid for the move. The local NJ operations manager initially told me he would speak with his partner and call me back. He never did. I have texted him multiple times and left a voicemail with no response except to speak Geoff in claims. The company also refuses to let customers speak directly with their executive team, forcing all communication through an internal division that shields them from accountability. I even tried reaching out on LinkedIn to the chief customer officer of all my sons in their corporate office in Texas. Conclusion - This company's behavior is unacceptable, and their pattern of ignoring customers, denying valid claims, and hiding behind internal processes is exactly why they have low ratings on Google, Yelp, and the Better Business Bureau. I wish I had looked more closely at those reviews before hiring them. Don't make this mistake!
