Hi Chris!! Online rental process was easy and the size unit I needed was affordable. The customer service is excellent with Chris. The day of my "big" move (most of my items) he came out to greet us, he welcomed the movers and asked if they needed any water or a restroom. He welcomed my mother into the office, gave her water and a chair to sit and wait for the movers to finish. The facility is clean and secure. I love the app that you can use to access the gate (in case you lose your code). The paved areas around the unit buildings are clean and free of debris. Since renting I have always been able to find a flatbed cart for use if I need one--the company keeps them parked just inside of doors for customer use. I've had a wonderful experience at this Public Storage location. They have been so helpful and accommodating. I was having a pretty rough day when I moved my stuff in. Things are not going great right now - hence most of my life going into a storage unit. Chris was so kind and thoughtful. He made me (and my family who was helping me) feel so welcomed and comfortable. He has been really communicative while I was coordinating getting everything in, and he made the whole thing fun and easy. Unbelievable that they can do this as I rented the space for my elderly parents when moving out of their home into a care facility, and now they choose to take advantage of them while on a fixed income. Completely horrible customer service. A guy named Carter couldn't have been worse. They called to say my autopay did not go through. Plenty of money available on account. First thing he says is that he's getting so many more calls than normal since 1/2 was a holiday. When I said it sounded like a Public Storage error, Carter decides he will yell at me. Very confused by the bad reviews. Ron was wonderfully helpful and the place seems really clean and safe. There are carts available to help move in and the prices are reasonable for the size we rented and because the space is climate controlled. I have never used a self-storage facility before and while this was my first time, I wasn't sure what to expect. Ron was extremely helpful and called me right away after I reserved my storage locker. Do not rent here. This company is like the worst landlord you've ever had. Even though I had a renters insurance policy, they made me sign up for their very expensive insurance until I brought in my policy binder in person. The access gate was frequently broken or not present. Rent was increased over 30% after 5 months, then again 30% after 12 months. The unit was so damp that my items got moldy. (The site manager said "You should have rented a climate-controlled unit.") The late fees are astronomical, and the company absolutely will not work with you on payments. Avoid, avoid, avoid. read more

The place continues to be poorly managed and full of people who don't care. I was about to recently rent another shed for college move out, and you know what, I got a phone call with attitude about how they "would see" what unit was available, as I was able to see what was available, because of the yellow locks, which are vacant units. It was more like you'll get what you get, when all I wanted was a unit (which was available) near my existing unit, not an unreasonable request. It was more like an existing customer gets what they give you and nothing more. So, I voted with my feet and went elsewhere. You should know that the elevators are not great, last time one was out for months, gate works or doesn't, and no consistency of who is ever here - it is a rotating shift of people. When I had asked one of the employees about the broken elevator, she just said "I dunno"....and that was that. So, I went down the road and rented at a non-chain. You may have a better experience than mine, but you should consider other options if you don't like seeing a high voltage EXIT sign hanging from the ceiling by 2 wires and eventually it will fall.....told them about this months ago, no action taken. That is a fire hazard. read more

This particular PS has been greatly disappointed. I give one star for the good people who work there and the other for the location. But even the latter can present challenges when trying to exit on to 202. Nice people alone doesn't make this place deserve five stars. The automatic door hasn't worked since I moved in six months ago. A first for any PS I've used (and I've moved and used several). On both sides of the main building, there's a 2" concrete lip that's like falling off a cliff when you are rolling things out. And then you drop into torn up pavement. How hard is it to slope concrete? I brought this up when I moved in. When it has rained wear your boots. A very large pool of standing water forms at the exit gate keypad. I realized this after many a soaked foot. I'm in and out of there on a regular basis, so after a 20% price increase after six months, I'm fed up with these issues not being addressed. There are several new storage facilities that have opened up in the area. For this facility to raise its prices to match their pricing is absurd considering the condition of this place. It needs some serious work to justify those prices. Oh, and be prepared to pay $20 for a lock, as they don't allow for standard pad/key locks and use barrel locks instead. Look elsewhere until the owners look around at their competition and realize their place is second rate. read more

Stopped by to see what Public Storage had to offer, Was helped by S'ba Kitchene, very knowledgeable. professional and personable, Helped us decide what sizes would work best and showed us what they had. Took time to answer all of our questions and set up a second appointment to meet our busy schedules. Said new management is in place and they are trying to turn around the public's perception. Except for a small glitch, not S'ba's responsibility, service has been #1. Just signed the contract will let you know how services is after the sale. read more

Left message for regional manager Nathan 617-957-4064 with my complaints and he past the buck to the district manager Kyle 856-778-8790 who never talked to me but left a message that I was concerned about the additional 5.95 charge for leaving the property at 5:30 pm instead of 5:00 pm on the 31 of August. I guess they do not listen to the messages. The 5.95 was the least of my concerns. The property is the worst ever. This passing the buck from management goes to prove it. I reserved a drive up space online for $173.00. I received a confirmation email. Two days later I received a new email confirmation that changed my reservation to an upstairs unit for $171.00. I called and spoke with the manager and said that I didn't want an upstairs unit, that I reserved and wanted the drive up unit. She said that she would check and call me back. She never did. The next day was our move in date and when we went to pay for our space we were told that it was the upstairs unit. The manager lied and said that I had called and changed the reservation to the upstairs unit. I did not. Why would I want to carry a sectional sofa upstairs? And for almost the same price. We were told we could have the drive up space if we paid $250. That sounds a lot like bait and switch to me. I called the District Manager, Regina Boyle and explained what had happened and could she please call me back. Still waiting for the phone call. Will never recommend this company and will actually tell people to stay away. They are rude, unprofessional and liars. Caused a lot inconvenience and chaos for us and if I could give 0 stars, I would. read more
