Extra Space Storage is the "Payday Loans" if storage units. They make it very hard to make payments and raise prices regularly.

When I called to ask about this they told me there was a problem with their system and refunded me. This to me sounds like fraud especially since another reviewer claimed the same thing happened to them. My move was disastrous. One mover was smoking weed, not packing furniture right, leaving pieces left and right. The movers lost all the hardware for my bed frame and I was left with a pile of useless junk. They dented the walls, ceilings, scratched the hardwood floors, and ruined everything single piece of furniture. They also sat around for an extra 2.5 hours after the move was over so that they could charge for overtime. The movers told me that I could just file a claim for the damages and I would get reimbursed. After their 90 day wait period for claims turn around, I was denied of everything. Their quote is also a complete lie. There were multiple fees that were left out of the initial quote, making their final charge 3x more than what I was quoted. Do yourself a favor and go with another company. Edit: The company owner's pitiful response to this post is their way of pretending they care about customer service. Multiple emails and phone calls have been made since with no response from this company. They DO NOT care about their customers experience, only want your money. STAY AWAY. It has been 5 months since my move and issues still never resolved, they've disappeared and ignored me since getting their money.

Its just a money grab. Lie # 4 paying to have them unload your belongings does not mean they are liable either. They liaded my computer atop a pile of other boxes and then had it drop to the ground by accident and somehow they are not responsible for replacing or repairing it! My experience with All My Sons Moving (32 Coles Ave, Cherry Hill Township, NJ and All My Sons…read moreCorporate Office in Texas) has been the worst service experience I have ever had, and their public ratings across major platforms reflect exactly why so many customers report similar issues. Across multiple review sites, this company consistently scores poorly: * Google: Approximately 3.9 stars, with thousands of reviews * Yelp: Approximately 1.5-2 stars, with a long history of complaints * Better Business Bureau (BBB): 1.97 stars across more than 1,000 customer reviews, despite being "accredited" These ratings are not a coincidence -- they mirror the exact problems I experienced. Please don't take the chances that I did and use this company. You'll be very sorry. I hired All My Sons for what should have been a simple, professionally handled move within Pennsylvania. Instead, the company sent a crew from their New Jersey branch, and from the moment they arrived, the situation was unacceptable. The movers smelled strongly of weed, and the odor was so overwhelming that it transferred onto my belongings, the moving blankets, and into my home. Despite being quoted $1,500 for a move that originally included far more items than we ultimately needed moved, the crew stalled for hours, took an unreasonable amount of time to get set up, and barely worked. They attempted to charge us $200 per hour for 12 hours to move fewer than ten pieces of furniture and no boxes--time that was inflated entirely due to their own lack of productivity. They even took apart furniture unnecessarily, removing every screw they could find, and then struggled to reassemble anything, which appeared to be a deliberate tactic to keep the clock running. To make matters worse, they forced us to pay immediately before unloading the furniture, even though the job was nowhere near complete and their performance had already been unacceptable. They refused to allow me to inspect my furniture after they brought it in. They were holding my furniture in their truck until I provided the person on the phone with a credit card to pay for the move. By 10 p.m., exhausted and frustrated, we had no choice but to let them leave. My husband and I ended up moving most of the furniture ourselves, unwrapping and assembling items they were supposed to handle. The next day, we had to take two cars and make multiple trips just to move basic items like totes and clothing bags--items we specifically hired them to move. Damage Discovered - In daylight, the true extent of the damage became clear. The movers had: * Drilled holes through three credenzas, including over ten holes on the wrong side of two of them * Split a 500+ lb wooden and marble credenza by placing it on its side on a dolly instead of carrying it properly * Stained my couch * Broken a $1,500 art piece * Scratched $1,200 chairs Their lack of training and care was obvious, and their behavior raised serious concerns about whether they were under the influence while handling our property. Claims Process & Geoff Burgess I filed a claim for nearly $10,000 in damages, providing receipts, photos, and videos--evidence the company was aware of from the moment the damage occurred. Since my move at the end of December, I have been going back and forth with All My Sons for months. It is now March, and they have: * Refused to settle * Refused to explain their employees' behavior * Refused to address the lack of training or drug testing * Refused to replace or compensate me for the extensive damage The claims representative, Geoff Burgess, has been a complete roadblock. He: * Refuses to review any of the material proof * Refuses to provide documentation * Refuses to acknowledge the severity of the damage * Blocks any attempt to escalate the issue I even tried going to his supervisor and to customer service, and no one will do anything. Every path leads back to Geoff, who simply repeats the same scripted denial. Their final response was that their insurance would only cover $644 under "limited liability," and they refused to refund the $1,500 I paid for the move. The local NJ operations manager initially told me he would speak with his partner and call me back. He never did. I have texted him multiple times and left a voicemail with no response except to speak Geoff in claims. The company also refuses to let customers speak directly with their executive team, forcing all communication through an internal division that shields them from accountability. I even tried reaching out on LinkedIn to the chief customer officer of all my sons in their corporate office in Texas. Conclusion - This company's behavior is unacceptable, and their pattern of ignoring customers, denying valid claims, and hiding behind internal processes is exactly why they have low ratings on Google, Yelp, and the Better Business Bureau. I wish I had looked more closely at those reviews before hiring them. Don't make this mistake!

PLEASE, PLEASE pay attention to this. MakeSpace IS A SCAM…read more After being told my movers would arrive between 8-11am I received a text message at 10:50 from the moving team saying, "we'll be there in 20-30 depending on traffic". 50 minutes later, nothing. I so texted them and received a message saying, "we're en route". At this point it was 11:45 -- 45 MIN LATE FROM THE LAST POINT OF THE TIME WINDOW. Then about 20-25 minutes later, I received a message from a customer service agent - not the movers who had been texting me - saying there was nowhere to park, so they left. Interesting, because there were places to park, including where I parked my car to ensure there was a designated spot. The customer service rep was very apologetic and said she'd call the team. She called them, and called me back maybe 40 minutes later only to say she couldn't help cause they had nowhere to park. WHO DOES THAT? They could text updates on their arrival, but when they didn't see immediate parking, said nothing. Keep in mind, this was the last day of the month. I was moving from Philadelphia to Boston that day. So I now had to engineer a move to Boston the same day (now at about 1:30pm). Needless to say, no moving company could help. I looked at a previous Uhaul quote I'd gotten when I was considering moving myself -- the truck rental would have been $450. Uhaul, Ryder, and Budget all had no trucks within 150mi. of Philadelphia on the day of the move. Penske did -- so I drove 45 minutes to pick it up, paying $1200 for the rental. Of course, I was moving from a 3rd floor walk up apartment, which was too much to move myself with the time crunch. I was forced to hire people off TaskRabbit since no actual movers could accommodate the same day scheduling. Like the truck, I paid a significant premium for same day help. The two gents, who were far from professional movers, with me, were able to get my stuff in the truck in 3 hours. All in, I paid $600 for those two helpers. Worst of all, I went back and looked at the quotes I'd gotten for a full-service move from Philly to Boston (all in the $1,400-1,700 range). Instead, I ended up paying just over $2k, because MakeSpace is a SCAM. Maybe a bad outing, you say? Just bad luck? I thought so, too. Don't get me wrong, under no circumstances would an experience this bad be allowable, but then I met my friend's new girlfriend -- who HAD THE EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE. As did her friend, who moved the same week she had from NYC to Philly. They often DO NOT SHOW, do not call, and leave you to figure it out. I paid just over $2,000 to move myself! Not leaving Philly until 9pm and arriving in Boston to my new apartment at 3am. Thankfully I was able to get out the same day and avoid having to deal with my old apartment and property manager to pay additional rent. All-in-all, the worst experience ever. Whatever you do, do not risk it by using this "company".

Good thing I had the presence of mind to pack a suitcase of stuff we'd need (there was one night between the pack and the move) because these dudes came through my house like a very organized hurricane that just blew everything that wasn't nailed down into boxes. They wrapped every piece of china in layers of packing paper and arranged it in some magical way so that not one dish broke. They wrapped my unbreakable Corelle dishes from Target the EXACT SAME WAY. My entire four-bedroom house was packed in 4.5 hours. The move itself took place the next day and again the team was extremely punctual and professional. They took amazing care in bringing everything in and making sure it was placed in the right room. And once again, they got the job done in less time (and for less money) than I was originally quoted. And yes, side note, if you work with Bobby on the initial estimate, he is almost certainly going to tell you that the job is going to take longer, be more difficult, and cost more than it will actually end up being in reality. Don't worry about it, the guys who actually show up to do the job will do better than that! Huge shout out to Fred, Isaiah, Justin, Kurt, Ford, and the rest of the team...you guys were the real MVPs making a stressful time far less so!

Honestly, I have had "white glove delivery" services before, and Mt. Everest services raises that bar! Even after they had placed the piano where I wanted it, they didn't leave until it was thoroughly checked over, played, and that I was happy. Their pricing was extremely fair, and actually the best price I found, considering the amount of stairs to my house. What really impressed me was the level of knowledge and extreme organization in getting it done so quickly! I was simply amazed in watching them disassemble/move/reassemble so large and heavy, yet delicate! Not one scratch!! I recommend them for any moving, but especially for piano, or anything large, heavy and of value!

They came and reinforced the floor, took the wheel base off the safe and squeezed her out that door, down the street and into their trailer. Once at our home she fit through our garage door with barely a 1/4" to spare. Very professional, double checking measurements, and taking it slow to fulfill my dream of bringing this family heirloom home. Well done guys.
