So I came into the storage to rent out a storage after calling them and after my rate increased at…read moreextra space Storage by almost triple after speaking with the manager she was polite and rarely understanding of my situation although when I asked her if my storage rate was going to increase she could not give me a straightforward answer she continue to say that it was going to increase but she did not know when "which I think is a lie I think they know when it's going to increase" but they do this in order to get your business now the storage is conveniently located around the corner from my apartment and it is open from 6 AM to 10 PM every day which I do like although there is multiple homeless on my side of the unit sometimes they do have their stuff out blocking the street to drive through although they do not bother me God knows what they're doing in their storage. If you're going to get a storage here just be aware that your rate is going to increase by double within a matter of 4 months.

Our travel trailer was broken into last night. There is no security other than a motorized gate. The fences are not electrified, contrary to signs posted indicating they are. I don't believe they even knew anything was wrong until a renter reported vandalism. I was called at 4pm from the office staff for an incident that occurred some time between last night and this morning. So why was I called at 4pm and not earlier? They are clueless. I counted 10 different travel trailers, a couple of boats, and two limos were all broken into with stuff littered everywhere. Broken doors, windows and locks. No apologies from the office staff. No empathy or care shown. Just another day.

Moving and now clearing out/moving stuff from one storage to another is never fun but the employees here are phenomenal and so helpful and welcoming and informative! First, we hadn't been in our storage in 5 years so the door was actually broken and we couldn't open it properly. Two maintenance gentlemen (one being Skylar) came and helped to get it adjusted so we could get into it that day but also called for it to be repaired and within that week which is what we needed. Whenever we went, we stopped by the front to get tokens for the Dollie's and came across Christie, who in each of our visits and interactions was just the sweetest and so helpful!! Both Christie and Skylar (who was now learning the front desk role) helped us to change our information over to the new unit. The site was giving Skylar issues but both of them were able to make light of the issues and apologized to us for waiting but we were totally fine! It felt like sitting with friends while we were working on getting all this paperwork completed. They never made us feel stupid or unwelcome and it truly meant so much to us! Thank you for everything Christie and Skylar and we will absolutely recommend this location to any friends looking to rent a storage unit. He had such an upbeat attitude, what is not to love here? Do not be wary that the business is not a corporate U-Haul dealership, especially because, from the outside, it looks deceptively dark and iffy. This small business owner wears many hats, including his smoke shop and gift items. Hence the official name, Smoke and Gift shop. You will see the large sign on the outside of his shop, plus a smaller U-Haul sign posted in his window. There are small number of trucks parked in the parking lot.
