Beware: they sneak insurance coverage in on your fees. In the initial part of the application they asked if I wanted insurance coverage, and I declined it. Then at the end of the application, they make you check a bunch of boxes in order to complete the application. Little did I know that one of those boxes was regarding insurance, and because I checked it, they charged my $30/month insurance and will not remove the fees. read more

I have had lg storage unit at corner of Benson and 11th for 7 yrs...last Oct, new owners Extra Space Storage raised rent immediately $60, then another $60 raise 4 months later. but on top of it all, there has been rain damage reported each time, with water all over boxes, clothing, collectables, down the walls,.no repair done..they offered transfer..but I would have to move all things myself.. I am leaving this review for "Extra Space Storage" located on 11th street in Upland. I went there about 3 weeks ago to rent a unit and the options were limited because most of the units were taken only few left so I ended up taking a spot where it's a bit deeper inside a building that requires a bit more walking towards the middle. Then I left and didn't get a chance to get back to use it or put any stuff or lock yet. Finally this week I am able to use my unit so I called them to let them know that my unit still empty no stuff or lock yet since I left it so I asked if anything opened up where I can just drive up easily access instead of walking in towards my middle one then here is Jessica and Celina were there for me!! They tried their best to figure out how to make it happen specially I've already paid and never used my unit yet besides it requires in person to sign paperwork and show ID etc... so I explained to them that I am a bit far for few days and I really want to switch and rent immediately before this other unit is taken. they tried their best to understand the situation and were able to accommodate that. They stayed over the phone with me throughout the agreement and paperwork and it was possible because I've already showed up in person before to submit my ID and credit card so it worked out great and not only that Jessica tried to switch the credit thats left from the other unit so whatever days I missed I don't lose out on that, besides doing her best to give me a good rate to make it fair for me specially I've paid the one time required fee on the other one so I don't have to repay again since it's a brand new everything rental, agreement etc... I wish I can write more details how a wonderful satisfying experience I've had at this place and it's staff but my review is getting so long!! I am so glad I found them and wish for everyone who needs a storage to keep any eye there whenever spots open because its so worth it to wait in case it's all taken. read more
