The folks here are great! Our U-Haul truck's battery died during move-out, and we didn't have jumper cables to start it. Luckily, the folks here lended us theirs. The caretaker was super nice and helped us jump the truck, which was actually a lot of work because the battery on the U-Haul is pretty hard to reach (it's under the cab) and the cables were just barely long enough. Without 20+ minutes of his assistance in high 90s heat, we would have been helpless. Thanks so much! read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!!! SAVE YOURSELF NOW PEOPLE. This company is so greedy and constantly changes your rent every month. They will tell you that they give you 30 days notice before hand but that's a lie we were notified only 6 days before our payment is due! Our rent increased $100 in one month!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys need to reconsider how you do business you will be losing a lot of customers. I paid $272 to PODS storage and never once in the 2 years that I rented there did it ever increase. Never! They just called me today after leaving this negative review on google reviews and telling us well that's just the way it is sometimes. And telling us we can clear out our stuff and then start all over again for a new price that's just the way their system is! lol what a joke. Please people don't even bother coming here. Super simple & easy process. I booked my storage rental online & was assigned a unit within minutes via their website. Also, when you download their app you get remote access (via bluetooth technology). Their Front desk admins both called to check up on how I liked my new storage unit, for feedback & assistance. Best helper in a super rush situation! Galen was so helpful when I was in a very bad moving situation. The movers were late and I needed to pick up my son from school. I got no notice or anything when I called the guy on the phone said they raised the rent because it's their busy season which makes no sense when I asked for a refund they said they can charge me $180 going on forward which still isn't any better from the $130 I was paying remind you I have a tiny unit never again read more

Mary was super helpful when I didn't have my key. She chopped the lick and sold me a new lock within 10 minutes of contacting her. Gate access is until 10pm which is super convenient. Great clean facility. read more

Mary is the one who set me up with my unit last June 2020. She was so helpful. I was at this location for a little over a year and never did I experience theft or rodent damage. When it came time to move out Galen was very helpful with the process. If you want a safe place to store your things I definitely would recommend this location. read more

After having a poor customer service experience with the store manager about the red ants in my storage unit. I received a call from the district manager at first I was hopeful they would try attempt to make things right. Once she started to speak she was extremely rude and too the point. For example, what can I do for you? As if she had no idea why she was calling me. I briefly explained what had happened while now the ants are all over my home due to poor pets control Maintence at the Tracy CA location. The district manager was rude and said there was nothing she can do. The customer service is poor even above the store level which leads me to believe it's part of the organization culture. I strongly recommend not using Extra Space because they lack empathy, passion for doing the right thing for their customers. read more

I had a 10X10 storage unit that was full of items representing a range of difficult emotions for me that I housed for 6 years!!! During those years the staff here were wonderful although I rarely needed to speak with. Upon move out however, the manager, Galin, was incredibly helpful and sensitive to my emotional day. Beyond my expectations.... For example, I left my key back in LA and did not realize this until I got to Tracey which made me lose an entire day of moving as it was a sunday and holiday-- no one was working to help. On Monday Galin was able to grind the lock off with no problem and did so sympathetically free of charge. Great start to an emotional and laborious day ahead. Mid way through the move it was 108 degrees and I was charging it with only one other person. Galin came by to bring us some water and make sure we were feeling okay. At the end of the day, when I ran out of space in my uhaul and donation places would take no more from me, Galin offered to "take care" of my childhood desk that I was leaving behind. This was especially difficult for me because as with a lot of things that day it was a hand made sentimental item. I was crying, racing against time ,and exhausted but I desperately wanted a proper burial for it. I was being totally irrational.... Galin, sweet Galin, said he would take good care of it for me. Haha! I dont mind what he did with it but at that moment he felt like a grandfather who wanted to make it all okay so I bucked up and left. That level of care for customers is something I have never experienced. Important side note: the facility is very clean and very well priced. Thank you so much, Galin! Storage places have the general stereotype of being shady places but I can tell you this business is not AND it is top notch! The people working here are professional and thorough with no fee add one at the last minute...I knew from the first time I called what to expect from a money standpoint. They even have a 14' moving truck you can use when renting a unit with them...such a helpful thing! The property is immaculate, the unit spotless. Security is of high importance to them. Auto pay can be set up which I appreciate. So glad I found them! read more

So these people are the most dirtiest racist people on site. First I work closely with the rehabilitation for the homeless in a fresh start program. When a client of mine needed a storage he called a reserved a unit. Later on when he went in and they looked at him and told him that the one he reserved was already rented out. 2nd. I went and did the same exact thing . called. Reserved and then went in to pay.all went well until my client was helping my moving guy and once they saw him they changed my gate code and denied access to my movers which left me to the conclusion that these need a good stern talking to from there superiors. Hopefully after I called corporate office and explain to them the situation they'll be a little bit more nicer to their clients and customers and maybe show people that are trying to straighten up your life a little more respect read more

I would give it a 10 star if I could. I had a 5 X 10 at first then had to down size to a 5 X 5 due to personal issues. The staff was AWESOME in understanding and offered to help as some items were a bit heavy to move for me. I was late many times and they worked with me as I made payments under the wire so say. Upon me leaving the storage, they again were so helpful and understanding. I referred two others to this storage facility and they too are so impressed with the customer service they get.
