They did not use bubble wrap, or even packing paper. They threw delicate items, literally threw, I saw them, throwing them into boxes and just broke our PS5, our clocks, anything electrical. Anything delicate was damaged. They left doors broken in our new house. It was awful. I don't understand how they could be a professional company. When we went back to our original house, we found that they just left like 1/3 of our belongings were still there. But thrown around randomly on the floor just a complete mess, not packed. Just a horror story. We spent the next day trying to recover our stuff from the old house. And clean up after them. Thank God we moved the PC and laptops ourselves.

The day of the move, Clint and two movers arrived 15 minutes early to survey our old place, ask questions, and make note of what was and wasn't being moved. Do NOT recommend use of this place…read more We reserved a 7x10 unit online, but when we showed up, the unit the manager showed us was only 7x7.5. When we initially said, "this looks smaller than what we ordered", she tried to gaslight us saying, "no, it's 7x10". However, it was only when we showed her that the measurements on the unit's label that said 7x7.5, she started saying that it was our fault for not checking the unit in-person before reserving. And somehow it was our fault for not knowing their website was broken. Our primary account holder (the person who made the reservation), attempted to negotiate with the manager, citing his online reservation. Only to be led to a 10x10 unit with an additional charge. This bait and switch was not appreciated along with the condescending and patronizing tone of the worker. The three other people who were helping with the move-in were yelled out of the front area because they were not the primary account holder and "I don't want to deal with them" (we were standing quietly). While this was happening, another customer was in the same room. He was not asked to leave at any point. Overall, there was a lot of shady behavior and red flags. Our unit was silently downgraded with no notice to us or pay decrease, we were gaslit into thinking the unit was the size we wanted, our primary account holder was arbitrarily isolated when discussing options for getting the size we needed, customers were strongly pushed into writing good reviews, and the experience was overall much worse than when I used iStorage the previous year. We would not suggest trusting this location with your business or storage items.

I realized about a week and a half ago that my unit was full of mouse poop -probably because the…read morebottom of the door does not seal well and there is a gap. I called and reported it, and told them we might move out over this. I was told that they had to talk to the store manager and they'd call me back. 4-5 days go by and I don't hear anything so I call again. I speak with a different individual. I express frustration over the lack of a callback, and that I wasn't even offered a new unit last time I called, or a discount over this, nothing. She then asks me if I have any food in the storage unit -I tell her I did not that it was full of children's toys and stuffed animals. She goes on to ask me if there are any damages and I said I wasn't sure, that there were stuffed animals in there. I mentioned that I was getting pretty sick, and I knew my unit least renewed in a few days. That I was worried about how we were going to get this taken care of. At that point she tells me she has to contact the store manager and she'll call me back. I speak with her later on, and she tells me that there's nothing they could they can do. Because I chose my own insurance I'm responsible for damages. But again at no point did I say I wanted them to cover damages. They would do nothing but offer to put me in a new unit. In other words leaving me with all of the work of dealing with that -without even so much as a discount on this unit that I was paying almost $200 month for. This was entirely their fault for not maintaining the property or ensuring all of their doors seal correctly. I told them there was no way I was giving them another dime and that we would be moving out on 3-11. We remove all of our belongings the day our unit lease was ending, 3/ 11. I was horrifically sick, and had to ask family to help. And it just so happens that I asked one of the family members to text me a photo of the empty unit -just in case they tried to pull something shady. Well this morning I woke up to an email claiming we did not vacate the units until 3/12 and that I owe them money. Too bad for them that I have a date stamped text message proving that the unit was completely emptied 3/11 12:24pm. Thankfully we didn't see any evidence of mouse activity in the crates of stuffed animals. It seemed to be all around some hard washable outdoor toys. I am just blown away that there was no concession made. They manager didn't even bother getting involved after they found out what was going on. I have a feeling that this is something that they deal with on the regular as neither individual I spoke with seemed surprised about the mouse crap.
