The place is clean and appears well-run on site. BUT. You get a storage space and (if you are naive and unsuspecting like me) they raise the cost to 125% of what you were paying. I.e. I was paying $199/month and 5 months into my deal with them...They raised it to $247/month. After taxes and mandatory insurance, $280/month. Up from $228 total. When I called to ask about it, they informed me this happens every 6 months. Standard. That is RIDICULOUS and predatory, in my opinion. I'm getting out. And do not recommend. read more

Do NOT recommend use of this place. We reserved a 7x10 unit online, but when we showed up, the unit the manager showed us was only 7x7.5. When we initially said, "this looks smaller than what we ordered", she tried to gaslight us saying, "no, it's 7x10". However, it was only when we showed her that the measurements on the unit's label that said 7x7.5, she started saying that it was our fault for not checking the unit in-person before reserving. And somehow it was our fault for not knowing their website was broken. Our primary account holder (the person who made the reservation), attempted to negotiate with the manager, citing his online reservation. Only to be led to a 10x10 unit with an additional charge. This bait and switch was not appreciated along with the condescending and patronizing tone of the worker. The three other people who were helping with the move-in were yelled out of the front area because they were not the primary account holder and "I don't want to deal with them" (we were standing quietly). While this was happening, another customer was in the same room. He was not asked to leave at any point. Overall, there was a lot of shady behavior and red flags. Our unit was silently downgraded with no notice to us or pay decrease, we were gaslit into thinking the unit was the size we wanted, our primary account holder was arbitrarily isolated when discussing options for getting the size we needed, customers were strongly pushed into writing good reviews, and the experience was overall much worse than when I used iStorage the previous year. We would not suggest trusting this location with your business or storage items. read more

This is a fantastic place to store your possessions. First of all, it is very secure. There's a personal assigned code to allow you into the storage facility. Then, you have your own lock for your storage unit. The units are extremely clean and some of them are temperature controlled, so you might want to check that out. The agent who helped me set up my storage unit, C. Wilson was top notch. He was very pleasant and explained things very well. He made the process go very smoothly. This is a great place to store your goods. It's safe, secure and clean. read more

This location rents Penske trucks. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Explained everything in detail and made the pickup and drop off seamless. Would highly recommend. Very inexpensive as well! read more

Unfortunately I have to give Compass Self Storage one star. I have had a unit there for one year and in that year they have increased my rental payment from $155.48 (3-5-2018) to $197.60 for May, 2019. In the words of Miss Daisy, "that's highway robbery". I am going to leave and go elsewhere, because this is ridiculous. There's too many other storage facilities that just don't gouge your purse by that size of an increase. Bye Felicia!!!!! read more

The facility was well kept and the manager was extremely polite and helpful! They were able to assist me with not only my storage unit, but with renting a truck and additional packing supplies! I've come back a few times to add or remove some of my items and the manager is always there with a friendly smile and is willing to answer any of my questions! I highly recommend them! read more

Organized. Clean. Great service. Great security. Informed and helpful staff. Safe and convenient location. The list could go on. The facility is brand new, so it's really clean. You could be the first one in your unit. Pricing seems on par with other facilities. Nice location, close to a busy street, which makes it feel safe. No long term commitment. My wife and I bought a moving pack of assorted boxes sealed within another box. Turned out not to be what we needed. They would not accept return of unopened package 2 days later, with the excuse: "we don't have a way of refunding the amount". Interestingly though, they did have a way to swipe and charge the card in the first place... I would not recommend buying services or packaging supplies from them if there is any chance you may need to return anything. read more

The facility is clean and spotless. Security is excellent and safe. However, the rental policy is unacceptable and the price is steep. I needed to extend my move-out date by two days due to a hitch with the movers, and Compass absolutely refused to pro-rate my unit even though I have been a loyal customer for over a year with three storage units with them at one time to accommodate my need for temporary storage for the contents of my 4000+ sq. foot home during my relocation. This wasn't cheap! I eventually had it down to one unit but it still ran me over $230/month. They had an absolutely wonderful gem of an employee who was a bright light in my day every time I needed to go there-Tiffany. She was efficient, articulate and intelligent. A wonderful human-being. Had she still been there, I think that they would have been more reasonable and pro-rated my rent as they should have. For this reason, i cannot recommend this facility. read more

I agree with Deenah B--organized, clean, seems safe, pricing on par, no long contract. Hopefully, they find a way to keep all of their customers happy and can refund for unopened packages (Bob A--Repeat business and word of mouth advertising are important). Overall, I am satisfied--so far. I move out in a few weeks, just needed the unit while my apartment was getting ready for move in. read more
