He was professional, helpful, and made the experience pleasant on a personal level. However, my issue is with the company's pricing practices, which felt like a clear bait-and-switch. I initially signed up under a promotional offer that provided a reduced rate for the first three months, with the understanding that it would then move to a set standard rate. However, before the promotional period even ended, I received notice that my rate would increase--by nearly 38% above the agreed-upon post-promotion rate. As a result, I didn't even receive a full month at the standard rate I originally agreed to before being hit with a significant increase. That feels misleading and undermines the terms presented at signup. Overall, it gives the impression that the company relies on promotional pricing to attract customers, only to quickly raise rates to offset those discounts.

I was in charge of organizing the logistics. Which, by the way, is my least favorite thing to do in a time crunch. I've had horrible storage facility experiences in the past but was impressed by my experience with this facility. The main item being, I didn't even need to interact with anyone to get this handled. We already had enough going on, so this convenience was VERY appreciated. After a quick yelp search, Buckeye State Storage popped up. I noticed they were literally minutes from Cleveland State which was super convenient for my cousin. I immediately went onto their website and reserved their move-in special, a 10x10 for $99. I instantly received a gate code, room #, and my cousin already had her own lock from the past that she held onto. She dropped her stuff off 20 minutes later. That was easy!

Scheduled a 10' truck rental from this Uhaul location as well as a dolly and the insurance online…read moreprior to coming to the location to pick up. On the online order I mentioned / put into the request it was to be returned to another location, 30 miles away. I also mentioned this multiple times when I went to pick up the truck and they confirmed as they were looking over the order. They also overcharged me for a different dolly as they did not have the dolly I reserved online so they gave me a more expensive option. When I tried to return to the other location, they said I could not and had to return it to the original location. When I mentioned I stated this at least three times, the response was "you can call Uhaul customer service at Corporate if you want lady, but they or we can't and won't do anything". So then having to go back to the original location, there was a major accident on the highway next to the exit to the North Royalton U-Haul that delayed the drop off over an hour and a half. I called in advance to say I was coming 10 minutes after they closed- however no one would wait, and they said return it to the after hours drop off, which again was yet another additional charge. Not sure how anyone moves across the country with Uhaul if they are this messy between locations under 50 miles - such a terrible experience - avoid if you can!
