Renter beware. 1. Your rent will be increased dramatically repeatedly with one month warning. I…read morefirst rented in January of 2020. I have already seen two rent increases. My initial monthly rent was $117.72. My current monthly rent, eighteen months later, is $143.62. That is an outrageous 22% increase in just over a year! Clearly, they understand that once you are in, there is a burden to you changing storage vendors. 2. They have a "company policy" against pro-rating rents that they do not disclose when you rent. Accordingly, if you remain one day over the end of the current month, they will not pro-rate your rent for the next month. 3. They advertise the units as "climate controlled." There is absolutely no air conditioning in the building. Accordingly, in the summer, the units bake like ovens. There is minimal heating in the winter. While the units do not freeze, the temperatures can get quite cold.

They moved me from Lakewood to Fairview Park, Ohio, at a speedy rate, but were very cautious and professional. I was given a time range and they arrived within it friendly and ready to go. Prior to the move, they called a couple of times to confirm locations, prices and optional add-on's. They were able to supply me with a cover for my mattress (that I got to keep!) and proper care for some more fragile items. I was absolutely blown away by their help! Thanks again guys.

I was paying $199/month and 5 months into my deal with them...They raised it to $247/month. After taxes and mandatory insurance, $280/month. Up from $228 total. When I called to ask about it, they informed me this happens every 6 months. Standard. That is RIDICULOUS and predatory, in my opinion. I'm getting out. And do not recommend.

Do NOT recommend use of this place…read more We reserved a 7x10 unit online, but when we showed up, the unit the manager showed us was only 7x7.5. When we initially said, "this looks smaller than what we ordered", she tried to gaslight us saying, "no, it's 7x10". However, it was only when we showed her that the measurements on the unit's label that said 7x7.5, she started saying that it was our fault for not checking the unit in-person before reserving. And somehow it was our fault for not knowing their website was broken. Our primary account holder (the person who made the reservation), attempted to negotiate with the manager, citing his online reservation. Only to be led to a 10x10 unit with an additional charge. This bait and switch was not appreciated along with the condescending and patronizing tone of the worker. The three other people who were helping with the move-in were yelled out of the front area because they were not the primary account holder and "I don't want to deal with them" (we were standing quietly). While this was happening, another customer was in the same room. He was not asked to leave at any point. Overall, there was a lot of shady behavior and red flags. Our unit was silently downgraded with no notice to us or pay decrease, we were gaslit into thinking the unit was the size we wanted, our primary account holder was arbitrarily isolated when discussing options for getting the size we needed, customers were strongly pushed into writing good reviews, and the experience was overall much worse than when I used iStorage the previous year. We would not suggest trusting this location with your business or storage items.
