I moved out on October 20, 2025, and have been trying for over two weeks to cancel, yet they keep charging me for service I'm not using and even for a trash can I can't return because I don't live there anymore. Their hours are terrible, their phone system is a nightmare, and actually reaching a real person is nearly impossible. This isn't customer service it's taking advantage of people. It feels like outright theft, and I'll never recommend this company to anyone. It makes sense why they don't have a social media presence or at least not one that I can find. So absurd.

One woman brought in an old pedestal brass rotary phone and the advised her to sell it as an antique since they would only pay the scrap brass value for it. She didn't care and sold it to them. Over the years, they have pretty much cleaned up the giant piles of scrap in the yard and in their building. They are very task oriented. Put your stuff on the scale, take this slip to the cashier. No nonsense. Prices they pay seem generally consistent with other junk yards taking similar materials. You won't leave with a warm, cuddly feeling from them, but you won't leaving feeling like you needed to brush cooties off your clothing either. Net-net, 3 stars. As to the other comment on the site about them, they're just not the right place to recycle IT stuff. Not up their alley. Everybody has their niche.

But yesterday I finally reached out to Ohio Junk Force & had a reasonable estimate & an appointment time set for the next day! They let me know when they were on the way, & when they were here, they were extremely polite, professional & friendly. They took care of the items, (including one heavy, awkward item out of my basement) quickly & efficiently. Such a relief to have everything gone!
