But yesterday I finally reached out to Ohio Junk Force & had a reasonable estimate & an appointment time set for the next day! They let me know when they were on the way, & when they were here, they were extremely polite, professional & friendly. They took care of the items, (including one heavy, awkward item out of my basement) quickly & efficiently. Such a relief to have everything gone! And to know they will try to keep the items out of landfills if they can be donated or used by someone. Love that! Definitely will be my go-to for removing stuff that needs to go!

Something has recently changed here - not for a small recycler. I have been going to the Columbus…read moreone for some time - it's a scrap yard - but the people were generally nice and easy to work with, and I'd rather get a few bucks for my stuff than simply tossing it out. Recently however I went down there and they seem to have changed their management or operation. The most notable change is that they no longer dispense cash from the weight check out window - you have to go back to a cash dispensing machine in the yard and scan a slip. The machine was down yesterday - from the comments of the others it was at least a half hour - and the others standing there I gathered it had been for some time. Since there is no alternative, I have to go back down there, get my slip reissued, and try again. Not good customer service.....
