Many storage facilities you find it to be poorly maintained and rodent infested. They care about protecting your personal belongings for a value you cannot beat. The owner is responsive even outside of normal business hours and is flexible in accommodating your needs. The items I have there are valuable to me and I feel confident that they are safe at all times. You receive top tier service at a reasonable price. Obtaining access to the unit couldn't be easier with a secure gate that is accessed by a personalized code. During the winter the lot is cleared making access the unit easy. I cannot say enough good things about Old State Storage and mention them often to friends and family.

I was in charge of organizing the logistics. Which, by the way, is my least favorite thing to do in a time crunch. I've had horrible storage facility experiences in the past but was impressed by my experience with this facility. The main item being, I didn't even need to interact with anyone to get this handled. We already had enough going on, so this convenience was VERY appreciated. After a quick yelp search, Buckeye State Storage popped up. I noticed they were literally minutes from Cleveland State which was super convenient for my cousin. I immediately went onto their website and reserved their move-in special, a 10x10 for $99. I instantly received a gate code, room #, and my cousin already had her own lock from the past that she held onto. She dropped her stuff off 20 minutes later. That was easy!

1 Star -- A Terrible Moving Experience…read more I cannot recommend this moving company. Our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The movers were rude, unhelpful, and unnecessarily rough with our belongings and our new home. At one point, we asked one of the movers to please be more careful with our walls. His response was, "What do you want to do, this yourself?" That response was incredibly disrespectful and completely unacceptable, especially when we were simply asking them to take reasonable care of our home. There were also significant problems with our belongings. A number of items were misplaced, and some table legs were eventually found in the company's Lost and Found. When the company offered to return them, they were left at our old address rather than our new address, which was yet another unnecessary problem we had to deal with. Even more frustrating, the movers left a substantial amount of our belongings at our old address, telling us they didn't have enough room in the truck. This included heavy items such as our treadmill and rugs. We were then forced to spend several additional hours and our own money hiring another moving van to retrieve and move the items ourselves. When I contacted the company about receiving some compensation for the problems we experienced, I was asked to sign an NDA agreeing not to speak negatively about the company in exchange for receiving some money back. I found that extremely troubling. After such a poor experience, I believe customers should be able to honestly share what happened to them rather than being asked to agree to silence in order to receive compensation. Moving is stressful and expensive enough without having to deal with careless handling of your belongings, items being left behind, belongings being misplaced, disrespectful behavior, and then additional out-of-pocket expenses to fix problems that shouldn't have occurred in the first place. I would be extremely hesitant to use this company again and would strongly encourage anyone considering them to look carefully at other options. This was one of the worst customer service experiences we've had, and I cannot recommend this company based on what happened to us.

They also moved me to an apartment about 15 years ago. They moved my elderly father when he was moving from a large apartment to an independent living facility (which included helping him pack the breakables), and has moved a close friend several times. In my mind, there are no other options. Every single time - it has been perfect. No breakage. No damage. Nothing missing. Friendly. Fast. Office staff was also extremely nice and patient as we navigated through everything. Money well spent! Highly recommend!!!!

They have been in business over 3o years and the young men in charge (Tim , Tony) were so professional, polite and total gentlemen! The store is open, organized and neat! The equipment is handed to you clean. They provide any instruction needed, take it to your car and come right out when you pull up for return. They are well competitively priced and honest. They even took a look at my personal sander I thought I broke and fixed a simple repair for me! I highly recommend this spot for rental of any handheld or heavy duty tool or equipment!!!!
