Started renting in June 2024 and just moved out officially yesterday March 2026. They increased my rent almost double by the time I left. When I first signed up for this space it was because it was a good deal. They really only gave me that deal for the first month, We finally decided to move out after receiving yet another rent increase -- three increases in less than two years is honestly ridiculous. It felt like every time we turned around, the price was going up again. On top of that, basic convenience was an issue. The trash and recycling bins are consistently locked, which makes no sense when you're actively paying for a unit. If I'm renting space there, I should be able to throw away small amounts of trash without it turning into a whole ordeal. The customer service was the final straw. When I went to clear out my unit on 3/21/26, I brought a small bag of trash (just hangers, dryer sheets, etc.). I walked into the office and was immediately met with a rude, dismissive attitude. The employee looked annoyed from the start, questioned me about what was in the bag, and made the whole interaction unnecessarily uncomfortable. It didn't feel professional at all. Overall, between the constant price increases, lack of basic access, and poor customer service, this place just isn't worth it. I'm relieved to be out and would not recommend renting here. read more

After I posted my review about being upset with the monthly rent price being increased from $210.00 to a $84.00 more money on my monthly bill for my storage unit at the Extra Space Storage Center, then I received a phone call from Erika their manager . Erika was very concerned that I was upset about the situation with the price increase on my August Rent payment. Erika told me that she wants to keep my business with her. Erika discussed with me that my New Price Rate will be $225.00 before my Senior Discount and insurance coverage. But the actual total will be at $234.85 after those (2 adjustments) . I will receive a Discount off of $11.25. Erika said in the month of October, I will only be charged the $175.00, since Erika place a credit of $59.85 onto my account. Then Erika told me to call her with any questions that I might have and she will be happy to answer them for me. In conclusion,Erika did reduce the Rent Price on my Storage Unit and I was very satisfied with the outcome of that decision. I will give this storage facility some positive feedback as the process to obtain a unit was easy, I love the app to access the gates and my unit easily. We've had the unit for 3 months and the price of $157.20 is reasonable for the small space we are renting. However, after just 3 short months we received a notice that the monthly rate is being raised to $251.20 in 30 days' time, definitely excessive! I realize this is month to month and it's in the contract that it can be increased, blah blah blah but come on people. This is price gouging and is not cool. To the public, you've been warned! I can't recommend this place. I rented a space a couple of months ago and am I not happy. Here is why: The pricing is manipulative and dishonest. The sales people were happy to tell me that the price can change daily for a given, same, space - and it does. When I first checked in with them, I got a price that's about $15 a month lower than the price I ended up actually paying for the same spot. They say it changes because of "demand", but I really doubt that. They knew I was the same person calling back for the same space - they keep very detailed notes on who calls in. I think they were just charging me more because they could get away with it. To me this is extremely dishonest - just charge a price - a fair price - for a given space. Is that so very hard? Next, the quality of the actual space is not great. I ended up on the second floor, and it's a nightmare. They have the tiniest elevator I've ever seen in a storage space in my life - you can barely get a cart in the elevator. And while you're trying to get the cart in the elevator by making these really tight turns with a fully loaded cart, the elevator door tries to close after like two seconds, slamming into your stuff and/or you making it extremely frustrating and annoying. Finally, the upstairs just feels moldy. I didn't see any mold, but I used to live in the Pacific Northwest, where mold is extremely common, and it really did feel like mold to me. Do not recommend. Find a better place and don't be fooled by the very friendly salespeople. read more

This place is a total rip off. I have had a large, ground level storage unit for years for my company. Over the years, the rent has increased by $100s. I've attached two photos from the September payment and the notice I received for the October rent increase. It went up $40 a month. That's nearly a 10% increase this month alone. I had stored my stuff here for a month in between moves and I had a great experience. I had been googling storage units and came across this place, the live chat was great! I had asked the live chat which size storage would be good for my 1bedroom. The 5x10 was recommend and a reservation was set, very easy process. I showed up for my reservation and was given a tour of the storage unit. It was the perfect size! Everyone was very friendly, answered all questions, and were very welcoming. They have locks and boxes you can purchase as well. The storage was very affordable, and for a bit extra you can purchase insurance. There is a large gate with your own gate code to enter and exit. I had a great stay and didn't have any issues whatsoever. I felt very safe having my items stored here, and I would definitely use them again! read more

Do not rent here. We have rented an indoor unit for 3 years. For the last 6 weeks, we have had a lot of rain. Our unit with many others had massive amounts of water leaking from above & through walls on the floor. I had to sweep out large amounts of water many times. The management brought someone to clear the water out of the hallway but made no repairs to avoid continued issues. They offered to replace the cardboard boxes for free but said they were not responsible for items in boxes damaged. We have had nothing but constant issues with rodents. Many of our items are now infested. Recently we have moved & found that the entire back wall had mold growing & transferring to our boxes. Being new to the area I am not familiar with most establishments yet and if they meet the needs of the service I am seeking. But Extra Space Storage was the first one that popped on my search for a storage unit and at first I was a little skeptical of how they insanely have a great selection of deals and units to choose from that fits your external storage needs. I got a 4x4 unit since I do not have a lot to store just, big enough to store items I don't need at the moment but would eventually need in the future . I did most of the reservation and registration process online which was extremely easy and impressively organized. Once I arrived at the front desk I felt like I was not new to the storage and been there for ages, all the staff were very knowledgeable and well informed on everything storage related as well as how amazingly great the staff were overall. All the buildings only had 2 floors which was also amazing and exactly what I was looking for, all buildings and hallways are well lit and you will never feel uncomfortable or unsafe inside the units. Overall I had a very stress free and a seamless move in day especially at the fact that the app was so easy to navigate and had features I've not seen at other laundromats. Price is pretty decent and only costed me less than $40 to rent the unit I have right now. Highly recommend, Great staff, gates are easily accessible through the app, and each floor is very well lit and not closed off to the outside which makes it 10x less creepy than the last storage I've been to. read more

Door cracks big enough to fit a endoscope in so thieves can inspect inventory before breaking into. Cheap endoscopes are available on Amazon. Expensive for the space. read more

Don't come here ever! This place had mold amd leaking walls. They will take advantage of you. They start you off on a low rate and increase your rates without telling you. 1. I rented a 10x10 starting at $130 and increased to $250. 2. They entered my storage unit and changed my lock without ever telling me. 3. Their storage units leak water and never tell you. This will be my final review for this place. I started renting here 8 months ago for $160 for the unit. Within 2 months I get a rate increase notice to $280. After my last review, I was contacted and they negotiated down to $230. I was told this would not change unless the economy did, which we have not had any further federal rate increases or changes to inflation. If anything, inflation has settled and gone slightly down. I get a letter now 5 months later letting me know my new rate is $320. To make it worse, the digital lock system they have never works so I had to stand around for over an hour while they changed the entire lock out to ensure my unit would lock before I could leave since you can't put a standard lock on it. While I was out there with the manager who and another employee, he made a comment about how many spider webs and what not were all over the bottom of my roll up door. Come to find out they are supposed to be maintaining it but haven't. read more

Started up with these folks only a short time ago, maybe a month or two. Have accessed my unit on several occasions and have noted several areas of concern. To start with, I'm an old Phart with a bladder that thinks it's on the frequent flyer program. One bathroom isn't enough. Can't tell ya how many times we've come close. Oh, and to find it locked certainly doesn't help. Need for more push carts definitely exists. I've walked almost the entire campus looking for one and have come up empty several times. Come on, have mercy on a guy with two bad knees and a bad back. You'll notice as you enter the complex that the keypad is far to the left. As in putting you into oncoming traffic (theoretically). Should have separate entrance and exit lanes to prevent such issues. Lastly, I accessed my unit three days ago. Outside the access door to my section I had noted a broken glass. I had intended to stop by the office to report it, but I had bumped into one of the Customer Service Representatives on the way out of my section and she verbalized that she knew it was there and was going to have it cleaned. I came back yesterday and found the glass still in the middle of the street. Tried to stop in the office again only to find it locked (because of the Labor Day holiday). I had to access my unit again today, and guess what...the glass was still on the ground! Guess they like replaceing peoples tires. That's all for now. Hope to see some improvements, otherwise I'll have to liok for a better storage unit. read more

Please make sure you save your rent agreement because management changes frequently and so do the rules and rent gets upped about every 6 month or so. My rate has nearly doubled since 3 years ago. In addition my storage got robbed under new managment. Lastly, even if I did exactly what the contract said, giving prior notice as outlines in the agreement, I was not honored prorated refund from my storage unit upon moving out. read more

Unfortunately I feel that the local administrators' hands are tied by the corporate guidelines. If you have a good customer, renting 2 decent sized storage units, for almost 2 years, then I believe corporate should allow their personnel to be more accommodating to their client's needs. Let me start off by saying I never actually got a chance to store my belongings here, because of poor business practices. I made a reservation online from my understanding this was to reserve a unit? Also just to ENSURE my spot was saved... I called and spoke to a manager named Rodney. Rodney was very professional over the phone, he mentioned I would need a special lock, and INSURANCE to rent the unit (provided by my own renters insurance or through coverage at the facility.) I told him I would shop around but more than likely purchase insurance through the facility, he said "Great, see you tomorrow afternoon and we'll get it all finalized." After I hung up, I was able to sign up for my own insurance through my current company (for what I felt was a fair price.) All set and ready to go I thought! Next day with my policy in hand, I called to ask I could come by early. A nice man answered I believe his name was Sergio, I told him my name and the size of the unit I had reserved.... "Ma'am I'm so sorry but that was our only unit that size and was rented out this morning." He profusely apologized...Sergio was so nice and I could hear the sincerity in his voice...but I was still left speechless. I feel this place should've had the decency to at least TELL ME it was rented. Clearly "RESERVED" is not what it means anymore. Had I known, I would've never signed up for ADDITIONAL INSURANCE. The GUY TOLD ME all of the steps I need to take in advanced and then rented it out before I could get there. Really nice. Luckily I found a place down the way, equally as nice and CHEAPER. Unless you are willing to pay extra and rent in person you might screwed. I'd say take your business elsewhere. read more

Also the units I'm renting are small so definitely not worth the price. When you first rent the units they get you with a good price but it then they start raising there pricing on you. Lured in on what was later deemed a "promotional" rate, which jumped from $80 to $175.... The month-to-month contract is so their bots can scrape competitor pricing online and automatically increase your fee on a regular basis--they just send a postcard in the mail and automatically bill you! I called the corporate line and they said they would reduce the price increase, but then the local office reneged and told me "there was nothing they could do." All the while during my tenure, the gates were broken regularly, they kicked us all out for like 9 months during the pandemic to re-pave the parking lot, and then changed the passcode system to an app without notice so I couldn't access my spot until I figured it out (after extreme frustration.) All in all a frustrating experience with a company with dubious practices. read more

DON'T USE THEM!!! I am not one to complain much about locations but this company makes me feel like I need to. I went there 2 weeks ago to rent out a 5x9 unit which was $70/month. Lorilee, the manager, told me that I could reserve the unit for 2 weeks, no obligation, no hassle. I received a call from one of their associates, reminding me that this was the last day to rent my unit out, although he said I had reserved at 5x10 unit. I thought he was mistaken, however I said it was probably my own misremembrance. Before I went over there to rent the unit, I checked the email I had received on the day I had initially reserved it and its said 5x9 explicitly. Not to worry, I would fix it at the office when I came in. I arrived at 10:30 (only minutes after the associate had called me) only to be greeted by their internet suddenly going down. Not to worry, that stuff happens right? Lorilee was there and I told her what she had said to me 13 days prior and she told me that the unit was probably sold yesterday night before closing (even though I had it reserved until today). They began trying to sell me a more expensive unit, which I turned down. There internet was down for 1.5 hours and Lorilee was out helping sell units to other customers as I waited for a response to how they were going to fix this. After I was tired of waiting, she finally walked me over to a 4x10 unit which was one of the WORST units I had ever seen. All they want to do here is sell quickly, and they will say anything to get your money. She even said she would "boot someone else out of a 5x9 reservation as soon as the internet was back up". I declined, frustrated, because I do not want to make someone else feel the way I do. NEVER store anything here. They only want your money. read more

We have been renting spaces here for over a year. We have always had excellent customer service experiences from the very first time we were greeted with a positive attitude from Sergio. He's always been great to deal with. He's become like family/great friend to us, we always catch up about our business, and lives. He goes out of his way to make sure we are doing well. When we needed additional storage, he helped us find the right space for our needs. Rodney is also very friendly, and knowledgeable. He has always been extremely helpful too.
