The 3 men were polite and physically fit enough to do the heavy lifting for a couple hours nonstop. They offered to shrink wrap my furniture, including antiques, for a very reasonable price, which I was grateful for. They squeezed an amazing amount of furniture, boxes and odd-shaped items into the PODS I had rented. They were very accommodating to my specific requests. Extremely bad experience - what are the worse things that can happen in a 2 br and a den move you ask- well all of them happened during this move with this company- starting from late arrival to 9 hrs for 3 hour job - we had everything packed up in boxes ready to go they clearly were milking the clock as other review pointed out- brought a partly filled truck so they had to two rounds to get all the stuff even though they were informed of the 2 br and extent of stuff we need to Move - which 2*2x travel time - clever you may ask - well it gets better they don't use the height of the truck just keep piling and say no we can't load anymore - oh and then another time drain-started taping our mattress which their was no need to tape - destroyed moulding in our apartment we were moving from- could not figure out how to unscrew a TV stand took hours to strategize how to move a dresser up and down the stairs - we had told them explicitly before the move that we have 2 br and a den and that we have stuff - they brought a partially loaded truck with their own shit more than any standard or experienced mover would ever bring - photos attached - we paid for 3guys and 2 of them did not know what they were doing- you'd think 3 people won't have any trouble lifting a dresser or a cupboard but no they made faces and grunted at everything and asked do we need to bring this too and that too? I told them yes everything goes- instead of judging me or other reviewers who complained here about how much stuff they want to move why not do the job that is being asked ina timely manner Wardrobe- in the past we have had movers bring clothes out directly from closet and leave them back in your closet using wardrobes - they have no concept of that- they brought dresses out one by one when we requested a wardrobe - way to kill time you guys ! I was quoted $330 for 3 hours, 3 men plus a truck. But I ended asking me for $865. And you have to pay cash or if you pay by card additional fees applied. They don't even gave an invoice. I hope they are declaring this income , IRS can tax them. No comment from the owner after this review. They were super slow movers that is why they got done after 6 hours of chatting, breaks, & waiting. It was a rip-off. Very disappointed . Don't hire this company. Mike is not cool. The movers Sergei and Alex were friendly and swift in action and even the per hour pricing was pretty good. Even though I didn't had a groupon deal they did give that to me. About the truck policy There was one thing that wasn't mentioned during the call was that there would be a charge for truck based on the time taken rather than the miles and it was double the charge this was neither in their website not in the mail nor during the call which was a bummer else I would have gone with a different mover who charges $1 per mile travelled ....as it was a last minute I didn't had any choice but to accept due to which the cost exceeded by $150 at least. I guess with this great service it would be good to mention before hand during the call or email. read more

Wow! I don't know why I see bad reviews here, the two movers I got were AWESOME. Took them just 2 hours to move and set up my house. They protected my doors and floor unlike the company that moved me out of Dallas..... The company moving me out took 4.5 hours to load, FaceMoove took only 2 hours to unload and assemble the same stuff. I was a military spouse most of my adult life and moved every 2 to 3 years at a minimum and I can tell you, Facemoove is the best so far. Unprofessional and poor customer service. Deal states all inclusive and even after explaining that and being promised there would be no additional charge they still wrote additional charges afterward. This was done without requiring a signature or change order for the newly written fees or the new inflated time duration and instead just written on the previously signed paperwork. This company wastes time walking around and over wrapping unnecessary items. I performed more labor than the father and son that showed up to help. Still had to spend over 5 hours of my own time moving so they wouldn't walk out hours more to overcharge. Worst Groupon experience. Especially so since I used Groupon previously to move the same distance and same furniture for the same price except the last company achieved that handily within the purchased time of 2 hours. read more

So disappointed with this companies service. I booked them to move us from a 2 bedroom to a 2 bedroom and was clear that the new apartment we were moving into had stairs leading up to it. When the 2 movers got onsite they were slow and clearly milking the clock. They packed up our place and headed to the new location. Upon arrival we walked through the property and I asked how long they thought the Unload would take. They said a few hours maybe 2-3.....5 hours later they were done. They chatted and made small talk to each other the entire time and had no sense of urgency at all. We even helped them at one point because it was taking so long and the sun was going down. The entire thing took 8 hours and cost us $800. The whole time they kept saying how it should have been 3 guys in the job. They said it would have only been $25 more and hour but would have been done faster saving us money. I wish when i called and explained my move they would have suggested that, thanks a lot!! Not to mention they lost a few parts to our bed making it impossible to put together without getting replacement parts and cracked the side of the bed. I found this company through Groupon, purchased a two hour all inclusive to move a pool table from Santee to El Cajon. They didn't return call or respond to email for setting up appointment. When I did get a hold of someone on the phone the first thing they tell you is all the extras that are not in the fine print. They said they have a company policy that requires a three hour minimum and that is an extra $50. They also said based on my location I will be charged double time and additional gas fees. I requested to speak to management the next business day, they said I would receive a phone call. I didn't get a call. Not a fan of gimmicks. Decided to cancel through Groupon. Today was my "moove" day and I needed help with moving my one bedroom apartment into a POD container. Vladimir and his crew were amazing! I just had all of my stuff moved today and I am quite upset. I have had the same exact amount of stuff moved from one place to another and at most, it was a three-hour move. What ended up being a 3-hour move turned into a nearly 5 hour move. It took this company 40% more time to move me than any other company I've dealt with and cost me twice as much. (They charge an additional $150 per hour, but I thought it would be a good deal as they are on groupon...silly me). This eventually cost me an additional $440 on top of the $200 groupon that I had already bought. Mind you, I packed everything I needed to have moved. I padded what I wanted to pad, and shrink wrapped what I wanted to only lightly protect. We requested for them to not waste the time to cover our belongings, only for them to not listen, which inevitably cost us extra. I appreciate the caution but if I specifically ask you not to do something with the explicit knowledge that it could be scuffed. PLEASE DO NOT DO IT. It was not right that I could not deny a service as I had put in the additional labor on purpose! If you're the type of person who doesn't want to do much in terms of moving and have all of the money and time in the world, pick these guys, they're a perfect fit. If you aren't all of these, please reconsider as your bill will be significantly higher than anticipated. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars at the moment. Don't waste your time. I moved out of a 2 bedroom apartment into a 3 bedroom condo and it took them 7 HOURS. There is no way this should have happened. I moved every box on my own but 5 that they moved. It took them over an hour to get my dresser up the stairs. 15 min just to think about how to move it (one of the guys was not strong at all) and 40+ min to get it up the stairs (where the drywall got damaged). This move shouldn't have taken any longer than 4 hours....7 hours was a large chunk of money. They move slowly. The only thing they did well was to protect doors and attempt to protect walls. I called during the move and left a message but no one called back. I called again 2 days later and spoke to Sergio who said he'd investigate and he never got back to me. They will move slowly to take more money. VERY DISAPPOINTED. This cost me a lot of money that it shouldn't have read more

The guys were all nice and showed up on time, but I am giving them a 2 for being too slow. I waited to give a review until after I spoke with a few friends and discovered they didn't have the same experience with other movers. We got a groupon and thought if they moved at a reasonable pace, we would be done within a reasonable amount of time like 4 hours or so. We asked for 3 movers but only one of them was able to break down the beds. The other two wrapped up even things that won't break even when I told them we are only moving 5 minutes away. We even sold our barstools and sectional before they came and packed up a bunch of stuff already. We didn't have any patio furniture. The two guys were really slow and had times that they looked loss and didn't have anything to do. even after 6 hours, they couldn't fully complete the job for us. I wouldn't recommend unless you plan to have someone take their time and pay thousands of dollars for it. Also, the owner and the receptionist who picks up the phone are not communicating well. I called the first time and spoke to the owner, he didn't share the 3 hour minimum with me. The second time I called after I already purchased the groupon, the receptionist told me about the 3 hour minimum and denied that anyone else would ever pick up the call. She then sends me an email, I responded to confirm and the owner responded again with different information than hers. Either way, I laughed it off thinking they're new at this, no big deal. But it was unnecessary that I pay as much as I did and they were so slow. read more

We moved two doors down, and just needed hired man power to help us with our large and heavy furniture. We hired Facemoove two days before the big day, and had no issue getting on the schedule. On the day of the move, we got bumped a couple of hours from our original start time (we were the 2nd move of the day), but the owner Vitaliy kept great contact with us until our help arrived. The guys were careful, quick and protected each item sufficiently with moving blankets. Booked these guys using a Groupon deal that gave a discount on the first two hours of the move [note: they charge for a 3-hour minimum, so factor that in to whether this is the right situation for you]. We had two movers, and they had a pretty tough job that required moving a large sectional sofa to a storage unit, and maneuvering a heavy king-sized mattress through a poorly designed apartment hallway and eventually up a three-story walk-up. Despite the difficulties, they were able to finish up in a timely manner, and provided us with an overall smooth move when it was all said and done. read more

Facemoove was awesome! We hired movers through U-Pack and had a miscommunication with the Moving Staffers office about the arrival time of two hired movers. However, as soon as Vlad and Victor arrived at our apartment, they got right to work. They put padding on our front door and door frame, were careful with our most fragile furniture, were able to fill our ReloCubes in a way that allowed for all of our belongings to fit well, and were extremely efficient with their time. FaceMoove was the appointed local mover through UPack/Moving Staffers when we recently moved from Kansas to San Diego. After waiting 4 months to have our belongings with us on the west coast, we were eager to move into our new townhome. Vi and Sergio showed up on time the morning of the move and made super quick work of unloading the trailer - 3 hours flat including hauling furniture up 2 full flights of stairs to the bedrooms. They carefully protected our carpeting and stair railings against damage from larger items. They instinctively read the boxes and delivered items to the correct locations in our new townhome with very little instruction. I have rarely witnessed anyone work harder than Vi and Sergio. It took 4 movers 3.5 hours to load the truck in Kansas and Vi and Sergio had it unloaded in less time with 2 fewer men! They were superheros. My only regret was not having more cash on me to tip them with. They earned that and my full respect. These guys are legit! read more
