My wife and I have always had a good experience here. It's easy to learn how things work, and the manager Rich is super helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth transition, and I've always seen him be kind and helpful to us and others. Rich is awesome, and it's a good storage space. You get your own lock, keys and code to gain access to the bay door. Also, the elevator and multiple carts they have ready for you are very helpful. Thank you for the help Rich! Be aware that the hours are 9:30am-6:00pm Mon-Fri, but storage remains open until 7pm (customer service leaves at 6pm). It's worked for us, but I just wanted you to be aware. read more

Limited hours. Only two loading docks that are not ground level. Business use this place as well so the loading docks always have trucks at them. Either have to wait forever or keep checking back in order to get my personal stuff out that I pay lots to store will no real service to the customers. There should be separate docks and limited times at them. read more

The space itself is OK, although it can be tough getting elevator access to the storage as you're competing with everyone else there at that time. The pricing is extremely misleading as they will jack up the rate on a space after just a few months while continuing to advertise the same size unit at a far lower rate. This isn't unique to this location, I've seen the same thing at other Extra Space locations. read more

Extra Space Storage in Nashua is clean, well-maintained and reasonably priced. Taylor, one of the office staff is awesome! She is friendly, helpful, addresses everyone by their first name, always has something nice to say and runs a tight ship. She painstakingly walked me through the elevator procedures- a bunch of times :) and never once made me feel like an idiot! The hours are great. The facility is climate-controlled. Horrible customer service, elevator was down the day I was supposed to move in, had to pay the movers more money to come back the next day. we called them and till this day never was called back. Can't wait for me new house to be built so l don't need storage for my big items. Wish I could give them no stars. Oh and the elevator at this place is not reliable. read more

Extra Space Storage is awesome! If needed, I will definitely be going here again. They are very professional and friendly, plus I love the recommend a friend discount! When my mother in law started using the same facility, I was able to get a good chunk of my bill covered for the month of July because of it. I have rented in this facility almost 20 years ago, and was pleasantly surprised that they were a LOT less expensive than other storage companies I checked out this time around that didn't offer climate controlled storage. Not only were their rates less expensive, but they offer easy access, reasonable hours; and there are plenty of carts to transport your belongings from the loading dock to your unit, The building is very clean and secure. I am thrilled with the excellent service that I received from Taylor, who is both cheery and professional. I hope I will not need to store my belongings too long, but I feel confident that they are safe and secure and will be in the same condition when I remove them from storage as when they went in. read more

This was my first day using Extra Space Storage. I had no problems setting up and I believe the woman's name was Wendy. I set up and paid early in the morning with no issues and the help was fantastic. I am moving myself so it takes awhile for me to pack the uhaul and bring my stuff to the facility. My problem arose when I showed up somewhere near 4:40pm. I was told earlier that the facility was open until 5:30. Anyway I showed up and entered my pass code on the exterior door, but the door didn't open, i went around to the office area and didn't see anyone. I knocked on the glass and went back and forth trying to knock on the doors, nobody was around. I couldn't call because I didn't have my cell phone with me. About 10 min later another man and woman came and also couldn't get in through the door. Wendy did tell me that the door was broken earlier in the day and parts where on order but NEVER told me the door would be locked. Anyway, the man and woman called the number and 10 minutes later Wendy showed up. The first thing she said to us was that we had only 24 minutes. I was already annoyed because the door didn't open and I wasted my time trying to find a way in. I busted my butt and worked up a sweat unpacking the truck in about 15 min. I then started bringing it up to my storage area. I was down to 3 carts and 1 pallet and it was already at the freight elevator. I stopped by the office to tell Wendy I just had 1 more trip upstairs and within a minute I entered the elevator and the button or my pin didn't work. The time on the elevator panel was reading 5:32 by this time Wendy was stressing out being very rude about getting out of the building. I explained to her all I needed to do is drop off the 2 carts and pallet and it would take me at the most 5 min, but she said NO, I can't let you bring your stuff up and said I need to put the remaining items back in my uhaul truck. She told me the elevator shuts off at 5:30 and she can't start it...I then asked her if she could open the stairwell door so I can go lock my leased unit next thing you know she came back with an elevator key, I asked her again (since we were heading up anyway)If I could bring the carts and pallet up since it was siting right in front of the elevator door. I told her it would take hardly anytime. (less than 3 min) She said no again. The first thing is I really think if the facility says it's open until 5:30 the door should work or someone should be there, not only did I not get the load in the storage but I also got my truck back late because I needed to go home and take about 10 boxes and 4 kitchen chairs out of the truck before returning it. It took me more time to put it back in the truck than it would have if she let me take the stuff up. I wouldn't have been so upset if I got there late and but I didn't....the door or my pincode wasn't working. read more
