I went with the "other movers" initially as Eddie was busy the weekend of the proposed move. The scope of the move was to transport the couches from Petaluma to Napa. Once in Napa, the couches were to be delivered to the second floor. The "other movers" postponed our move one day due to a scheduling conflict on their part. On the day of the move, I had to use my personal truck to supplement their truck that was way undersized for the job. They moved the couches from Petaluma to Napa however, when it came down to moving it upstairs in Napa, they were convinced that it couldn't be done. They left the couches on the first floor to our dismay while still charging us the full amount claiming that the couches were larger and heavier than they anticipated. (Mind you I gave them all the specifics of the couches before hand.) In comes Eddie and team to save the day! I called Eddie a day later and he was super responsive. I shared my story with Eddie and he was eager to take on the challenge. Eddie walked the job with me and confirmed that the job could be done. He sent his best guys out to the job the following day and they arrived promptly. Very courteous and eager to get the job done. During the move they were very respectful of the items and also the property. Making sure not to damage anything. The three movers worked in unison and got the couches moved in under 45 minutes. While it was difficult moving the oversized chaise and the heavy sleeper sofa, they got it done. No complaints or issues. Only high fives all around when the job was done. I will definitely be using Eddie's services in the future and recommend that Eddie be your first call. (Learn from my mistake.) Eddie's customer service should be the standard for all services. He will get back to you promptly and listens! His positive attitude is infectious and his team carries the same demeanor.

Instead of honoring our reservation by providing another truck, they refused, claiming they "didn't trust my husband to bring it back." We were shocked by how we were treated!!! When we became understandably frustrated after they failed to provide the truck we had reserved, they called the police instead of trying to resolve the situation. The responding officers were professional and told us they had received numerous complaints about this location before, but explained there was nothing they could do because it's a private business. The entire experience felt extremely dishonest and misleading. We lost valuable time, our moving plans were disrupted, and we were treated with complete disrespect. We are opening a case regarding what happened and we believe this place is fraudulent!!! Please do yourself a favor and avoid this location. The employee who answered the phone demonstrated zero knowledge of the services or vehicles this business provides. Even more concerning, he abruptly hung up on me mid-conversation. When I attempted to call back to clarify or resolve the issue, my calls were repeatedly answered and immediately disconnected. This was not a dropped call--it was intentional. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially for a business that people rely on during stressful, time-sensitive situations like unexpected appliance failures or moves. If you work for a company, you should at minimum understand what it offers and how to treat customers with basic respect. Hanging up on customers is not a mistake--it's a choice. Management should be aware that this location reflects poorly on the U-Haul brand. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service here is astounding. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution others to think twice before relying on this location for anything time-sensitive or important.

No one had the right dimension box or I would be forced to spend $50-$200 for a pack of multiple boxes. I was at my wit's end, trying to figure out how to ship two important orders without spending more than I wanted to on a shipping box. I finally called UPS to ask if they had the right size for me to purchase - although I did not want to use UPS as a carrier, preferring USPS - they told me they did not even carry the size box I needed, but referred me to this establishment. From my first inquiry phone call to the next day purchase of the boxes, I had a courteous man immediately help me with my shipping needs. The pricing was very reasonable. The shop is fairly small, but they carry a large assortment and range of box sizes. I went in sort of end of day, an hour before closing. and I was served with courtesy and care. At the end they had to use my car to load my 2 tvs, a lamp, etc. What I thought would take 5 hours max took 7+ hours. I think moving companies ought to come over to the resident before the move to see the size truck and how many movers make sense. I wasn't prepared for an all day move.
