Nicely clean storage compartments. The temperature inside is controlled and has relaxing music in the hallways which make it very nice. There's a keypad at the front gate, entrance and also one at the elevator before you select which floor your assigned to. I like how clean everything is and the compartments are heavy duty quality. Pricing varies but it's decently priced. It has went up a bit but I'm monitoring that. Now they offer a mobile app to open the doors but sometimes it doesn't connect but it's a work in progress. They have the right idea. Overall I recommend this place. It's super clean and I never had a problem inside. read more

After renting a 10x20 for 1 year I was finally able to move my things out only to find rats had chewed on the cables to my brand new washer and dryer units. The staff have me the phone number to the insurance company I paid for monthly and they denied my claim. Why pay insurance on your valuables if they aren't even covered by negligence of the facility? To top things off every time I visited the supposed climate controlled units were at a warmer temperature than outside AND WE LIVE IN MIAMI! read more

Other than the fact the climate was not controlled, the one available public bathroom was dirty, there were dead insects around the facility, and there were no extra chairs in the main office for waiting customers, the staff and service were superb. If management could afford to hire extra help in the office and a cleaning service inside and around the building, first impressions and dedicated customers would increase exponentially. I don't know how much headquarters could invest in providing at least a few chairs, maybe a vending machine with drinks and snacks, and a small table might provide a more welcoming ambiance to the main office... I am basing my judgment on experience with Stor-All. So far, though, still better than public storage! ;) read more

I just had to get a unit here and the guy that helped me was so helpful. It was super quick to get the paperwork done. The facility was very clean and secure. They have security code for the elevators. I left my unit unlocked and the keypad to exit the facility reminded me it was unlocked. That was an extra plus. I would definitely recommend this storage facility. So far so good! read more

Honestly, it had to have been the owner or a vested employee that gave this company and location a 5 star review. For one, it is difficult to reach a human being on the phone, EVER, until they want to contact you for your business and/or money. Secondly, they are always understaffed, especially on Saturdays. I reserved a unit online and then couldn't get into the office during regular business hours because the door was locked, The sign on the door stated to use the Customer Service phone - and it had an arrow pointing to the left - but the phone was actually to the far right. No one answered so I called the 800 number and Lisa - who was not the person onsite - couldn't sound more disinterested or bored with the problem but at least contacted the onsite employee. There was only one person working and they were showing a unit to another customer and so she had to lock the office door. Several customers were waiting outside and after a very long wait the employee finally returned, very polite and apologetic. Once inside it was another 45 minutes before I could be seen. By the time the employee was able to show me the unit I had been there 2-1/2 hours. The other problem with Extra Space Storage, besides their awful telephone non-support, is that although they offer nice online promotions, a couple of months later they hike up the rent on your storage unit. If you absolutely must have a storage, do your best to make other arrangements, or make this one a very short rental. read more
