When I got to the front rental office door, it was closed, but I saw a woman sitting inside at a table. I knocked. She clearly saw me, but instead of getting up to open the door or talk to me, she just waved her hand and signaled "closed." I was honestly confused - why would the rental office be closed when their posted hours say they're open until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday? There was a phone number on the door, so I called it. A man answered and told me I would need to register first, and that they'd call me later to schedule an appointment to view the units on another day. He started asking for all my personal information, but it felt off, like a scam, so I interrupted and ended the call. The woman inside clearly saw me still standing by the entrance talking on the phone, but she never bothered to get up or check what was going on. So lazy and unprofessional! I have absolutely no interest in ever coming back to this storage place!

I've had a few different storage units at this location for the last several years and I must say…read morethat I've been quiet pleased. The location is convenient, the facility is always extra clean and the staff is consistent and always ready to assist. The units are also climate controlled. You can purchase storage related materials like tape, boxes and other packing goods at the office and they will loan you a flatbed cart to wheel your items as long as you leave your ID as collateral until the cart is returned. The parking area, which is secure, is indoors so there is no fear of getting wet when loading or unloading items. The two downsides about this location (and likely all Value Store It locations), is that (1) every year the prices go up on your unit. Regardless of how many years you've been a loyal customer or have consistently paid in a timely manner, the price of the unit (doesn't matter the size) increases by about five dollars. Additionally, (2) it would be helpful if they had a dumpster or some other large garbage bin to discard items while you clean up your unit.

The units are clean, the people are professional and it still feels a little like a small business owner runs it. We got a 5X10 for 69.99 a month with the 1st month free for signing on for 12 months. Also, they have a moving truck you can have on move in day for free, although you do have to buy insurance $14 and fill the tank back up when your done. if you only drive 25 miles round trip you don't have to pay for miles. Also, there is a gal there, Martha, who is super helpful and tries her best to find the best deal and unit for you. If you need storage go to this place and check it out.

(I'm pretty sure he moved us last time.) This time I only spoke to Danny on the phone and through email. I rescheduled with him for 2 days later and I knew my move was going to going to be a breeze. MOVING DAY- Danny contacts me to make sure we are still a-go. He tells me the crew will be here around 1. I hadn't heard anything so I called to confirm. He notifies me that they will be over soon as they are finishing with an earlier move. No problem- I was busy moving everything little. 2PM comes and goes and finally at 2:50 the 3 guys show up. I was told 4 guys would come but it wasn't a big deal as we didn't have a lot to move. PAYMENT- The "main" guy out of the 3 asked up front how I would be paying and that he preferred cash. Check? No Card? Yes Oh and tip is "PREFERRED!" After figuring out that I will pay with card and tip with check since I had no cash, they began. While the guys begun I was also continuing to move little stuff and organizing that the 2 hours flew by and they were finished. Towards the end I noticed a scratch on my coffee table and confronted the "main" guy about it. Our furniture is new and we are extra careful with it so when a new scratch, blemish, or dust particle touches it I see it immediately. He said there was NO way that they could of done it. We went back and forth about it- he wasn't backing down so I figured I would let my husband resolve the issue if need be. Later that night while organizing and cleaning all the furniture they moved because their finger prints were on EVERYTHING! I noticed dings and scratches on 4 pieces of my furniture. Nothing a wood pen can't fix but that isn't the problem. I shouldn't have to fix dent, scratches, or dings from a moving company. These guys are suppost to be professionals and take care of other peoples furniture. Nothing was wrapped or placed on blankets. I was only moving one building over and was all inside but protecting my furniture should be key. One of them also transferred my storage unit to a new closer one and I advised him to put it organized like it was in the old one. After discovering the disaster that everything was just thrown in there and stacked on top of fragile things~ that was the icing on the cake. I will never use this company again or recommend them. They also offer professional packing services, shrink wrap, all size boxes and boxes so valuables won't get damaged. They also offer bubble wrap, straps, packing paper, four wheel dolly's and two wheel hand-trucks. Pretty much they can help you with most moving services needed. In regards to my friends move, they did a great job. Despite the short notice and moving pressure, DBM came in and did their job quick and professionally. My company moved into HiveHub on March 1st and eventually upgraded to a larger warehouse unit as we grew. Throughout our entire stay, we were never once late on rent and operated in good faith the entire time. We vacated our warehouse unit at the end of August, and as of early December, we still have not received our security deposit refund. This is after months of follow-ups, repeated promises from management, and multiple assurances that payment was already "on the way." Every update pushed the timeline out further with no clarity, no proof of processing, and ultimately no refund sent at all. Operationally, there were also challenges during our time here. Management leased one of the spaces to a last-mile delivery operation, which meant the parking lot and loading area were constantly filled with personal vehicles picking up packages. This made it extremely difficult to find dock space or unload trucks, something any warehouse-based business needs to rely on consistently. For context, I've leased space with ReadySpaces and Saltbox, and both returned deposits quickly and professionally. I have never dealt with deposit issues or operational congestion like this with any other warehouse provider. If you are a small business, startup, e-commerce seller, or logistics operation that values professionalism, transparency, and basic operational reliability, I would strongly caution you before choosing HiveHub. The combination of delayed communication, operational obstacles, and a still-unreturned security deposit has made this a very disappointing experience. I hope management improves their processes, but based on what I've experienced firsthand, I cannot recommend them to other businesses.
