Every single item I had, all of my belongings, boxes, and so on... every one of my personal effects (some boxes were opened since I had needed some items) was *covered* in a layer of soot. When I reached out to the front desk, an exec wrote back that there was nothing they can do. No cleaning; they won't move my stuff; and no partial refund.

Originally as we were moving out of state, we tried one of the national moving companies which we will never do again. As everything is only done over the phone. They wanted half of the quote money up front, did not even have half of our belongings listed and the CU (cubic units) was short, about 1,000 cu. Plus, other issues we will not mention. We felt they lacked proper communication and dealings were not professional from our standpoint. My husband contacted "VALLEY CUSTOM MOVERS" from Nampa, ID and we cannot say enough great things about them. Corey is one of the owners. came to our home and physically walked through and listed everything with us. He listened, answered all our questions and always personally returned all our calls after were gave him the job. Yes, their quote was right on, matched everything we wanted moved and the quote was a very great price for what we needed. His crew did complete packing, loading and storing all belongings in their warehouse until we have a new home out of state. On our job we had 1 owner & 5 crew members and each one of them were very efficient in what they were doing. They each knew what needed to be done. The packing of our home (1,900+ sq ft) home was completed in about 5 hours. The next day it only took them about 2 hours + to load 2 trucks and take our belongings to their warehouse. My husband was thrilled with their professionalism, quality of work and how they each asked questions. To be sure that what was being moved would go into the trucks and items that needed to be left. They are like a one shop move with the same crew packing, loading, storing and delivering our belongings to our new home and setting up all our furniture. They all get an A+ rating from us from Tara in the office to Corey and the other owners and all their crew.

There were two sets of men packing the truck and on the end unpacking. I was a little worried about that but, it turned out that everything was great. Both sets of men were friendly and did what I asked as far as packing and unpacking.

I emptied out my unit when I moved out, and yet I'm still getting hammered with a $75 "abandoned…read moregoods fee". And there's no way to get in touch with anyone in the office. This is unacceptable. Why should I pay when I didn't leave items behind?? This is on top of the egregious price hikes (which were the reason of me moving out to begin with). Finally, there are rodent droppings around the facility if you look for them. Not great. They did in fact get into my unit, which wasn't the most pleasant surprise, especially given that I'd even placed down rodent repellent, which wasn't enough to deter them. I wasn't keeping anything besides furniture anyway, no food. Not to mention the black widow waiting for me in the drawer that I had keeping there, as a last little surprise on my hand as I unpacked. Be careful unpacking your items; examine them thoroghly before bringing them into your home. So to conclude: - There's an incorrect fee (and no way to contact them to resolve this) - Beware of price hikes - Their pest control needs work!

Recently moved in! I've moved into a few storage units in…read moredifferent states and I can tell you that this is the best move in experience I've had. The gentleman up front Jim, is super friendly and was informative on everything. He went out of his way to show me the ins and outs of using the locks and told me about all the amenities they have, WiFi, 24 hour access, power outlets. He answered all my questions before I even asked. If your like me, you want an easy going move in, but also want the man up front to be professional and informative. And it was guys. Super easy and after this long week I appreciate it more then they know. The front office was clean, organized and felt welcoming. The grounds are in great shape, no trash lying around, no pot holes or any debris anywhere. The storage unit itself was in great shape, it is clean and well maintained. I been to a few storage units where you get there and it's dirty on the inside. This is actually one of the only outdoor storage units I've had that is in this good of shape. At this point I have no complaints and I couldn't find something wrong if I tried. If you are looking for a nice clean storage unit with an awesome gate keeper, this is it folks!
