They replaced Idaho Storage connection with a California based company. You can never speak to a human when you can the 800 number to get assistance with anything, then when you speak with someone that works in the office at the location they don't know how anything works. Be prepared for endless email/spam. So far every time I've had an issue that nobody could answer over the phone their answer is for me to come in to the office, so I can stand around while they all try to figure out what to do. Some even charge for shuttle service between where the storage is set to the final move destination. Valley moving brought two trucks from ID to CA. It was only our move. The guys communicated well. Our move had two moves one from the storage unit and then to our apartment. The move was extremely smooth. Not a single issue and nothing was broken. The crew was amazing. I emptied out my unit when I moved out, and yet I'm still getting hammered with a $75 "abandoned…read moregoods fee". And there's no way to get in touch with anyone in the office. This is unacceptable. Why should I pay when I didn't leave items behind?? This is on top of the egregious price hikes (which were the reason of me moving out to begin with). Finally, there are rodent droppings around the facility if you look for them. Not great. They did in fact get into my unit, which wasn't the most pleasant surprise, especially given that I'd even placed down rodent repellent, which wasn't enough to deter them. I wasn't keeping anything besides furniture anyway, no food. Not to mention the black widow waiting for me in the drawer that I had keeping there, as a last little surprise on my hand as I unpacked. Be careful unpacking your items; examine them thoroghly before bringing them into your home. So to conclude: - There's an incorrect fee (and no way to contact them to resolve this) - Beware of price hikes - Their pest control needs work!

Recently moved in! I've moved into a few storage units in…read moredifferent states and I can tell you that this is the best move in experience I've had. The gentleman up front Jim, is super friendly and was informative on everything. He went out of his way to show me the ins and outs of using the locks and told me about all the amenities they have, WiFi, 24 hour access, power outlets. He answered all my questions before I even asked. If your like me, you want an easy going move in, but also want the man up front to be professional and informative. And it was guys. Super easy and after this long week I appreciate it more then they know. The front office was clean, organized and felt welcoming. The grounds are in great shape, no trash lying around, no pot holes or any debris anywhere. The storage unit itself was in great shape, it is clean and well maintained. I been to a few storage units where you get there and it's dirty on the inside. This is actually one of the only outdoor storage units I've had that is in this good of shape. At this point I have no complaints and I couldn't find something wrong if I tried. If you are looking for a nice clean storage unit with an awesome gate keeper, this is it folks! When I arrived at the location on Franklin, can't miss it, Michael who was managing the front desk area was personable and genuine. He was dressed professionally and we joked about my last name especially since it was the same as the day that I was picking up. He went through all the details and I what I liked the most was highlighting all the important details like the QR code for roadside assistance, how much to fill up for gas and when to return it. I got the keys and matched the ID number on the keys to the back of the truck. It was very cleaned and the A/C worked like a Polar Bear's dream. We got a couple of bins Friday night and then the bulk of the moving the following day. We closed out the storage space at the space facility, dropped off the rest of the bins, put some gas in the truck and retuned back to the facility. The team upon the return were efficient and genuine. I was shown what the total was going to be and was immediately emailed with a receipt. Overall, the experience was great, hassle free and fair-priced. Thanks U-Haul Team.

When I booked my installation app on the 28th for the 30 at the Overland location, all was good…read moreuntil the 30th around 1012 I missed a call saying it was double booked. It took 3 or 4 calls to get the same person at the U-Haul location on the phone. I opted to get it done at a different (1030 W Franklin) location. I was told I'd be transferred and then hung up on. I had to call back to get details. I called to make sure and was told i could show up at 11 or 1130 if wanted. I show up at 1145, but the installer is at lunch. He didn't bring my vehicle into work on it until 1220. The staff was very friendly, and I was even given a discount for the weight and the issues. For some reason, they only have one installer and he didn't seem to care that he went to lunch and didn't tell anyone anything and just didn't show up until I'm guessing someone contacted him. I appreciate everyone at the Overland U-Haul except for the dude that's apparently the only one that does installs and I'll definitely be the last time that I go that route. Quite beyond not worth it. Also, he zip tied the wiring closest to the connector onto my tow hitch, so there's absolutely no room to pull the connector anywhere so now I have to look under and see how much slack there is if any and cut the zip tie so that there's at least some give. This dude has apparently been doing installs for like 25 years yet he zip ties the wiring so that the connector is basically touching the tow hitch. The only way I could be less happy with the outcome of this is if the installation didn't happen and I had to reschedule again. Again, Amanda, Abigale and Damien and the other gentleman that works there were awesome. Just not the installer. I really hope that he either get spoken to or reprimanded or even fired so that nothing like this happens to someone else.
