We have moved with this company more than a handful of times. This last time, however, I was not…read morepleased. If it had been our first we never would've had a second time with them. I'm giving them a three because I did have some four and five star experiences even though this one was not. But I want to caution people...couple of things, you have to wrap your own things in plastic. They use the same old quilt coverings to cover your furniture. These coverings sit on the floor of their truck when not in use. I didn't like that a lot of stuff was stacked on top of my leather and suede furniture. Left indentations and a scrape that I can't seem to get rid of. (Even though I wrapped my furniture in protective coverings myself.) They were late the morning of unloading because they didn't realize where they needed to be in terms of city... but the biggest beware is, I took photos of all my items and rooms and sent them all to the business so they could plan what size truck to bring. At the end of the loading day, they came to my husband and said that not everything was going to fit. I can't believe that nobody checked a couple of hours before, did a walk around through the house to see what was left. So they left our old house 3 1/2 hours away to go to our new house with not everything in tow. There was no Plan B. Initially, the owner blamed me for requesting a certain size truck like I would know what size truck, my stuff would fit in! The owner kept asking what I wanted them to do. Well I wanted them to go back and get my stuff. But then they couldn't fit in a date and yes, I would've had to pay more for them to do that. So my husband had to get a truck and find a guy to go back to get the rest of our belongings! Very stressful after moving being very stressful in itself. Very disappointing. I was able to talk to the owner about this. But after talking with so many people about it afterward, who were just shocked by how the whole thing was handled, I thought I better write a review just as a heads up. Friends that I have talked to said that when their movers (not this company) got there, they walked around the house before they even started loading to make sure they brought the right size truck, and one friend said the company sent another truck within 15 minutes of arriving at their house. Another option would've been for us to get a heads up so a U-Haul or other trailer could've been rented so no one would've left the area and had to travel back. Again, I'm just encouraging you to think about all this stuff and I'm encouraging the company to have a Plan B in place for things like this.

While this was not what was initially agreed upon, I still had faith in their service and made sure to tip all 6 movers. After the move to our new house, I noticed damages to our freezer and reached out to Thaddeus at Move Buster. Thaddeus assured me that this was covered by insurance, however, despite claims that a check was coming, after a whole month later, I still have not received this "check". I've tried calling and emailing Move Busters, unfortunately they have not responded. Tip: Make sure you check your furniture, appliances, moving items before the moving crew leaves!

I moved from Wisconsin to Florida. Cost me over $9,000. The move out was not the best. Misquoted…read moreload time which screwed my schedule up but I finally got out. I called for weeks trying to get a delivery time. The only response was 'well get back to you." When the driver called me, I found out he had loaded out a week before. Reynolds never called to tell me my stuff was on the way. Unload was mayhem. In the end, the laundry list of missing items and damage totaled over $3,500. My expensive insurance policy was worthless and worse was the response from Reynolds, "we're really sorry" but at least they did call me back when I reported the theft. Inspecting everything, it looked like it spent 1,000 miles on a pogo stick. So I'm SOL and everybody walks away with my stuff and my money. I made a poor choice for a moving company.

I have done two moves recently: one with Badger Bros and one with Two Men and a Truck. Each company…read moremoved about the same volume between the same locations. The difference was astounding. Badger Bros was cheaper, but it showed. They barely wrapped furniture (one or two passes) and damaged several pieces. They also deposited boxes randomly, even though all boxes were labeled and color-coded for location; we are still finding boxes coded for the attic in the basement (or vice versa), which we then have to haul up or down multiple flights of stairs. Two Men literally cocooned our belongings (not a scratch!) and put everything where it belonged. They were highly professional, efficient, and lived up to their motto, "movers who care."

They immediately got to work. There were three of them and man they hustled so fast we couldn't even keep up. The next day when they moved us into the new house, they had FIVE guys helping. We hired general purpose, movers to pack and move a 2800 square-foot home. They had to move those boxes that they packed plus the all the furniture in my home the Packers were younger gentleman who were very sociable, but they lack in my opinion training on how to pack a home. When they were done packing, there was tons of odds and ends laying in cabinets on the floor. There was a whole closet in my kitchen area that they did not do. Packing day they received a phone call from their boss about another job they needed to do "moving boulders" at that point they decided they were pretty much done with my house. When I sent a message saying they left things unfinished I received a message back which was snarky. Moving day was fine. However my bedroom dressers ended being extremely nicked up with a rather large gouge on one of them.
