I had inquired for moving services back in August which included 2 movers and a 27' truck, however, when moving day came, the company shared there were some mechanical problems and showed up with a 20' U-Haul truck and 6 movers. While this was not what was initially agreed upon, I still had faith in their service and made sure to tip all 6 movers. After the move to our new house, I noticed damages to our freezer and reached out to Thaddeus at Move Buster. Thaddeus assured me that this was covered by insurance, however, despite claims that a check was coming, after a whole month later, I still have not received this "check". We agreed a 2 man crew , should take 3 hrs . Showed with 3 , 30 minutes late , only took 90 minutes still charge for 3 hrs . I still tipped them for being quick. So it came out paying for 3 for two hrs . Just glad it's done and next time I'm throwing everything away and starting over read more

July 19, 2025: used Move Busters to move. The movers recommended payment through PayPal. There was an error in overpayment of the tip, resulting in a surplus of $251.40. Once I realized this (within 20 min of the movers leaving), I called the owner, Thaddeus, and explained. He stated via telephone that he understood and would refund me $251.40. He said he'd follow up the next week and see if PayPal refunded me but he never did. July 26 I emailed him asking him to confirm that he issued it. I also called and Thaddeus said he would drop the check off in my mailbox. He never did. I emailed again on Aug 17 and included a screenshot of my PayPal notification that I would continue to be charged and begged Thaddeus to answer me because I couldn't afford to not receive this refund. I continued to call, sometimes multiple times in a day and no one ever answered the phone live, which was only the case AFTER this problem arose. I am very concerned after reading another complaint of a similar nature. I left voicemails asking him to call me so I didn't have to post negative reviews and contact the BBB but have received no response, only continued silence. If he refunds me I will update my reviews to reflect this. read more

Great experience with Move Busters - professional, reasonably priced and very accommodating. Despite advanced planning, I got my move-out date wrong. I had booked Move Busters for Saturday morning but discovered that I was actually supposed to be out by noon of the previous Friday. Thaddeus really took the extra effort to accommodate this last minute change in plans that was totally due to an error on my part. Despite other client bookings they were able to get me out of my apartment by 1.00 that Friday. The guys were friendly and professional - returned all calls and messages promptly, called to confirm the move the day before, called to give a heads up when they were on their way on the day of the move. They worked tirelessly without wasting any time. They took good care of fragile items (moved a 55" flat screen with no box, detached the glass lamp shades and light bulbs from lamps) and also provided a clear breakdown of all the charges which were very reasonably priced. I really like the fact that they only take a $50 deposit when you make the booking with the possibility of a full refund up to 3 days before the move. I hired Move Busters to move all my heavy furniture and exercise equipment to my new house. Thaddeus and Lucas were downright amazing! They were prompt, courteous, and respectful of my family and my belongings every step of the way. Not a single ding or scratch on anything they moved or my walls, and they carried some extremely heavy, awkward pieces up a staircase with a 180 degree turn in the middle. They loaded everything up, well padded and secured, very quickly and even made extra stops to deliver heavy items to a friend's house and Goodwill in the middle of a torrential rain storm. At the new house they carried a ping pong table and extra furniture that was already there up and down the stairs for us. Their rates were very reasonable and their work top notch. The delivery of our POD was delayed multiple times. I was forced to reschedule last minute each time, and they remained polite and flexible throughout. When our stuff finally got here, they were fast and efficient and respectful of our space in the process of unloading. On top of that, I felt that their rates were extremely reasonable. Some things I am bad at (like cooking and math) but some things I'm AWFUL at, like preparing, packing, and organizing a move. Thaddeus and James arrived on-time and ready to move! Although they were paid by the hour, I never saw either of them sit down once or waste time on their phones; it was amazing to be honest. Soon it was obvious to me that they had been working together a number of years because their efficiency was incredible. They were so courteous and kind, even holding doors for ME and offering to take things out for me when I was packing up my own car! I was a disorganized mess and they were beyond patient with me. Later I found out they were actually brothers, so it was true, they had been working together a number of years and had moving down to a complete science. I told them, as a mother myself, their mom must be so proud of the men she raised! They were so respectful and professional! I have had other movers in the past but never any like these two, plus they had no hidden fees for mileage or fuel and their price was lower than their competitors. Obviously, I can't say enough good things about this moving company and would highly recommend them to anyone. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, I booked them THREE DAYS in advance and although their trucks were already booked they actually rented one so they could help me last minute.
