I bought a full sized mattress, adjustable bedframe and a decorative bedframe to fit around the adjustable one. They were shipped to my driveway and I was barely able to get them in my detached garage. I hired this company and was surprised at how quickly he scheduled my job. He also gave me a really good price compared to other quotes. He and a helper moved the boxes into the house and second floor bedroom. They assembled all of the parts and spent less than 2 hours. The only issue I had was the huge shipping boxes were not taken away. Now I am left to cut them down to fit in my recycling bin. But otherwise I was very satisfied with the job they did. read more

Their quote was lower than A.V.L.'s AND they showed within 2 hours of my phone call. Lovell and an associate cleared my 1 bedroom apartment and loaded an ABF ReloCube in under an hour. Best movers I have had the pleasure to work with! Lavelle and Shawn were fast, efficient, careful, kind, and helpful. I was moving into town after an 8 hour drive with my moving truck, and I arrived about a half hour later than the time I had scheduled with them. I figured they'd charge me for the time I was late, but they didn't -- they started their clock when I actually got there. And they unloaded my truck (1 bedroom apartment's worth of stuff) in an hour! They took care to make sure they didn't damage my stuff or the walls, door frame, etc. I will definitely be hiring them again for whatever help I need! read more

They helped us move apartments very quickly. They took under 3 hours for the job which was pretty impressive as our apartment was on the 3rd floor and had a lot of furniture. Compared to other movers they weren't too expensive and it was easy to pay them after the job using the PayPal app. Note that they just provide labor help and do not come with a moving vehicle. read more

Worst "moving company" I have ever hired! I came in from out of state and hired these guys to help unload a trailer. I work for a high end moving company and was expecting a great experience based on the reviews but it was far from even mediocre. 2 old guys showed up (50+ years old) with no dollies even though I stated they would need them numerous times and was promised they would have them. 1 of the 2 stated he couldn't lift anything heavy and carried a box at a time going at a snails pace. The second wasn't much better. They brought their girlfriends who wandered around during the unload, cursed profusely and were all around very unprofessional. What should have been an hour or less unload turned into almost 4. To top it all off the bed they assembled collapsed on the customer causing me to issue a partial refund on the move. Beware if you hire these guys. If you have to, ask for younger, willing and able men to show up. Good luck. read more

His two workers, Mac and Griff, were excellent: they are pleasant men and very hard workers. They were careful and methodical, and took care of more than 60 boxes of books and other stuff. GREAT job helping us move into an apartment in Champaign in August! My daughter's building, 309 E Green, has notorious elevator problems and on move-in day one was broken and the other had huge lines. We were stuck with a ton of heavy furniture and boxes ... so called various moving companies. No one had any availability ... until we hit 1 Man 2 Hands. Lovell and his colleague were finishing up a job nearby, and they came over and in the course of about an hour and 15 minutes moved everything from the 4th floor garage to the 12th floor apartment, mostly up the stairs. Extremely hard working, fair prices, honest, and a local business entrepreneur -- what more could you want! We will definitely use again if the occasion arises. He is willing to travel to wherever the bus will take him - so even if you are not in Champaign / Urbana but need some great help, call 1 Man 2 Hands! read more
