Absolute garbage facility. Rent was raised twice in a few short months for no reason…read more Moved out and forgot to leave keys since i hired a mover. Scheduled the move out 2 weeks in advance. Immediately called to let the property manager know i forgot the keys. i was told by their property manager (whose name i will leave private) that as long as they see my unique code used on the call box and that my unit is empty, they'll move me out and not to worry about returning the keys. I even offered to bring back the keys and was told it's not necessary. I am now being hounded by public storage to pay not only a month of rent AFTER i moved out, they're stacking monthly late fees on top of it since i didn't return the keys. They clearly didn't do a check out inspection when i left, or they would have called me and told me i needed to return the keys. Their new office "manager" is extremely rude and kept telling me she's new and she's just the messenger. Instead of helping me resolve my issue she sent my bill to collections. . She kept telling me the worker gave me the wrong information and i do indeed owe them this money. This is outrageous because they're letting me know almost 2 months later that i do owe them, even though THEIR employee misinformed me. Yes i understand this is on my contract, but that's why i CALLED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER who assured me it was not an issue. It is not my fault in any way that your manager misinformed me, i would have brought the keys back that day. I spoke to the collections office and told her what happened, she said she does not feel that this is fair and she will take notes. Since then, i am not getting CONSTANT texts from public storage asking me to pay my balance. If they already sent me to collections, there's no reason that they continue to harass me instead of having the collections agency take care of it. Why would i ask a manager something, be told to disregard it, and then be charged and sent to collections? Absolutely disgraceful experience and I will never use public storage again. They are dishonest thieves.

I had my things in this Public Storage on Sunset in Henderson. I moved my things in June of 2025. So my things have been for 9 months and I fell behind 2 months and I had called and left messages I had came by and when I did no one was ever in the office so I couldn't talk to anyone. Finally someone called me the 2nd week of Feb saying my stuff is going to be auctioned off and I had to pay it by Feb 23 or they will put a lien on it and sell my property. I went to the place cause they lady said she would be there till 12 so I rushed over there and gave her my new information and talked to her about my storage, that I couldn't lose it it's all I have to my name , and I know I am behind 2 months and I'll pay the fees but I am waiting for my tax money cause I just started a new job and wont get paid till the 27 th she said well call and leave a message and someone will call me back if I dont get the money before the 23rd so I called the 19th 20th and the 23rd like 2 times each day cause i was working . I came by after work no one was there . No one called me back I was trying to see if they could please just give me till the 27th and I'd pay it then but I never got a call back . So on Thursday the 26th I get a Email saying they sold my stuff to the highest bidder for 190.00 I go so sick to my stomach, I had everything I owed including stuff that was my son's who was Murdered 8/9/22, And I had stuff my mother who passed away 4 months after my son was killed in there . Her rings she gave me pics of us from long time ago and momentos she had that was left to me . And tools my dad left me and he is also passed away. I wouldn't have ever just let my Unit go like that. It had all my personal things and clothes I owned . I feel that if they would of had enough people to cover all properties then I believe that someone could of called me back and possibly helped me keep my unit from being sold . But instead it looks like I just abandoned my things which I didn't and wouldn't have ever . So I am putting this out so everyone can see don't rent from them . They don't care and can't even keep people to work at every property they have. So Now I don't know who bought my unit if I did I'd ask them to please let me give them the money they spent plus an extra 100 bucks cause I just needed a few more days then I would have paid it. But No one called me except for that one time . My hearts broken cause I lost my son and my parents and I have nothing of there's cause I had to put it in a storage unit . I can't express it enough DONT EVER EVER EVER COME RENT FROM THIS PLACE ESPECIALLY IF YOU DONT HAVE LOTS OF MONEY TO PAY MONTHS IN ADVANCE CAUSE IT COULD HAPPEN TO ANYONE THE WAY IT WAS TO ME. My storage unit was burglarized. Started our rental in November 2022 and downsized to a smaller…read moreunit September 2024. We returned to add more items to unit on 5/22/25. Our key would not open our cylinder lock. Had to have the onsite manager to drill the lock out. Onsite manager said there were burglaries in November and December 2024 and 1st quarter 2025. Burglaries included drilling out locks and replacing them with another lock. Burglaries through an adjacent vacant units to cut through the wall. We have over 10k of items stolen. Asked the manager why are there no cameras in the hallways and key pad accesss to the building. Corporate does not do it. Spoke with the district manager, he said it will be too expensive for the items and will keep you storage units rental lower (That's another conversation on rental price increases). I found another storage facility nearby that has cameras in the hallways and keypad access. The have twice a day lock checks. We decided to rent with them. Also, why is there no system in place to notify storage renters that there has been burglaries. Manager did say that there was a burglary close to our unit. Today, 5/31/25 - we went to our unit to move out. The key would not turn again. The lock cylinder was jammed. Our unit's roll up door was kicked in and was off the track. Fortunately, nothing was taken this time. With all the reported burglaries, Cubesmart should take action on minimizing the burglaries.

I was going through a lot personally, and this was holding nightgown that my grandmother passed away in a Christmas ornament that she had made after my brother passed away on Christmas at four years old basically just mine and my daughter's whole life. I paid late sometimes cause I was dealing with a lot mentally. I was about two months behind. I tried to come in three times to pay. I came on off days eventually I connected with her. I paid the minimum payment and she convinced me to pay the rest before my auction date. She said I had time. My storage along with other got broken in to. Something didn't seem right. Nothing was missing. well I came way before that date and she told me my stuff had been auctioned off so I had the sense to Google what she was doing and basically the storage facilities will pretend that your storage got broken into so they have every right legally if it's overdue to auction it off even before the due date. Which is what she did because somehow the person that got my storage was able to bring back wet pictures and journals. A month later. See when I told her it was just old things from my grandmother. Her eyes got his biggest saucers only owed like 200 and something dollars and I lost things that were irreplaceable in haunt me every day of my life. You are a horrible person. You scammed the system knowing I was going to be removing my stuff soon. You used your knowledge to help someone get things that had no value. I'm sure benefiting you in some way. You're a criminal. You knew I'd pay and remove my stuff soon. So you lied straight to my face and used the system to your advantage.
