Absolute garbage facility. Rent was raised twice in a few short months for no reason. Moved out and forgot to leave keys since i hired a mover. Scheduled the move out 2 weeks in advance. Immediately called to let the property manager know i forgot the keys. i was told by their property manager (whose name i will leave private) that as long as they see my unique code used on the call box and that my unit is empty, they'll move me out and not to worry about returning the keys. I even offered to bring back the keys and was told it's not necessary. I am now being hounded by public storage to pay not only a month of rent AFTER i moved out, they're stacking monthly late fees on top of it since i didn't return the keys. They clearly didn't do a check out inspection when i left, or they would have called me and told me i needed to return the keys. Their new office "manager" is extremely rude and kept telling me she's new and she's just the messenger. Instead of helping me resolve my issue she sent my bill to collections. . She kept telling me the worker gave me the wrong information and i do indeed owe them this money. This is outrageous because they're letting me know almost 2 months later that i do owe them, even though THEIR employee misinformed me. Yes i understand this is on my contract, but that's why i CALLED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER who assured me it was not an issue. It is not my fault in any way that your manager misinformed me, i would have brought the keys back that day. I spoke to the collections office and told her what happened, she said she does not feel that this is fair and she will take notes. Since then, i am not getting CONSTANT texts from public storage asking me to pay my balance. If they already sent me to collections, there's no reason that they continue to harass me instead of having the collections agency take care of it. Why would i ask a manager something, be told to disregard it, and then be charged and sent to collections? Absolutely disgraceful experience and I will never use public storage again. They are dishonest thieves. read more

So confused on why someone would call me to confirm my appointment left a voicemail and everything I call her back and we speak and I confirm my appointment at 4pm . 4pm comes around and there is not even 1 person at the office it's locked as if their closed . I had a situation where the handle for the lock was stuck for my unit, Adamaris was extremely helpful in resolving the problem for me, she helped me schedule out a day to get it fixed and got the lock handle replaced. This place has bed bugs!! I was visiting the storage they reserved for me and as I lifted the garage door I see this flat body bug crawling slowly into the bottom crack of the wall- I KNOW what a BB looks like, they have a very distinct look!! I'm completely disgusted. I'm now forced to throw away my furniture. I've been to waaay better storages spaces in Las Vegas. Only reason I got stuck with this one is because I needed a temporary 5x10 storage space last minute when I hired movers and this was the closest one I can find with "good reviews". So deceiving!! The floor is made of cheap construction strand wood in my storage and had damped spots too- I wouldn't be surprised if they had a termite problem. Smh!! Mind you- these bugs I mention thrive in climate control!! This place needs to be Shut Down!! read more

Just got a storage unit here yesterday. The manager Mark is very friendly and accommodating. Late night access is important to me, and though their gate hours end at 9pm, Mark said he could give me after hours access if I call during business hours. That's very important to me. The location of this place is great for me, too, not far from the strip (about a mile from the Rio). Very cab-accessible if I find myself in Vegas with no car, or even a walk if the weather is OK. I reserved online and will be able to manage my unit online. Necessary. On top of meeting all of my requirements, they were the cheapest in town. I got lucky, in that they had a drive-up 10'x20' that was empty for 3 months, so they put it up for $77/month. That's a steal as these size units go for well over $100/mo. everywhere else. On top of THAT, they only charged me $1 for the first month (+ $22 enrollment fee). About the only bad things I can say about this place is that they don't offer a free truck on move-in (though $1 for the first month is essentially the same thing), and the manager rejected my lock and told me I'd have to buy a much stronger one. It's MY lock, so I should have final say, but I guess I'll take the extra security... read more

I made a reservation 130pm and told them I may be late. I girl to the place I say 150pm and then lady tell me she is on lunch and that I would have to wait until 3 pm. She had bad customer service and the company did nothing to help. Tried to go to another location and the rate was different. Moral of the story go to extra space storage. do not store your stuff at the public storage on arville st!!! my unit was burglarized and the storage facility doesn't do anything to be helpful at all! i had a 10 x 30 unit that was full and everything was taken! they dont care about your stuff at all! the facility lacks proper security cameras and security to safely store your items here! when i moved in and till this day the girl justine in the front says there is cameras that see our unit that we dont see??? my unit was completely cleaned out and a new lock was put on and to me seems like they could have mistakenly put it up for auction! they dont check the locks regularly and put stickers like other facilities. no answers have been given! i will be getting a lawyer & would appreciate to hear back from corporate in regards to failing to store my items safely properly! take the items you work hard for and store them elsewhere. read more

Beware this location has NO CARTS! With this size of this location you would figure that they would have carts available to help assist with moving things around but that is not the case. Apparently they had one but someone stole it and too cheap to provide adequate carts for customers. read more

This place was amazing! Keona runs this place and she is awesome! I must have called 5 times to get everything arranged. I was in town from Denver and needed a unit for one month only to store what I bought at a convention. Every time I called and needed something she never got upset or short. She was just professional and happy to help. The reservation process was quick and easy which was great bc I was short on time. I requested a unit closest to a loading door bc everything was so heavy. She happily accommodated me. Very happy with my experience. I would recommend a local or out of Towner with needs to hit this place up. read more

She definitely provided amazing service, although it was hot outside she still made a second trip out to the units to show us a different storage size, so that we were able to make a final decision on wether or not we wanted the 5x5 or 5x10! The wroste place ever. They dont Cade at all about the place. The roof due to wind it tore up. My unit has so much water in it due to the rain back in April. Niw with May almost over the roof still not fixed its rain 3 times heavy since then I'll let you do the image to all my furniture kids clothes toys things my great great grandparents made gone cant replace. If I could the ins. Would even pay if you dont have receipts. Anyone in the world after a few months unless warranty items toss there receipts after maybe a month so shit given to me by friends family as gifts oh well take it in the ass. Terrible customer service!!! Do NOT GO HERE!!! I rented a truck to move out of my storage unit. When I got there the manager told me "the gate is broken and Im leaving. Im not doing overtime" As she chained the gate closed. I had to wait 2 days for them to fix the gate. THEN rent and pay for another truck to move. Approximately 10 (!) storage units were broken into at the Public Storage Arville location during mid-August 2013. My unit was one of the units broken into (~at least 20K loss). Burglars apparently had no difficulty forcibly opening unit doors in spite of double locks. Astonishingly, there are NO INTERIOR SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS. Thieves are free to open as many units as they have time for as there is NO SECURITY at this location. All you need is a gate code and you're in. Grainy surveillance of tenants entering and exiting are probably not much help to investigators and certainly not a deterrent as the thieves had free reign at this facility. Worse than my loss, was the flippant attitude of the district manager who essentially maintained that "thieves will be thieves" and dismissed a SOUND SUGGESTION of interior cameras ("too expensive"...what she really meant: LESS CORPORATE PROFIT). The ONLY thing this location has going for it is the personable manager (Mark) who actually gives a shit about his tenants. (Perhaps Mark should be district manager?) Do NOT store your valuables at a Public Storage unit! Don't do it, don't do it, don't do it!! read more

Been storing here for over 2 years. Great location, clean and very well managed. Mark the Manager went out of his way several times and was extremely helpful and really sets this location apart. Security gate, feels safe. Main building is air-conditioned which is great for hot Vegas summers to protect your stuff and make moving more comfortable. You can get a 26 foot moving truck into facility, but not the huge 53 foot super movers (that is the only drawback, if you are coming or going with a huge professional moving truck you will need a facility with larger access and yard) otherwise a great facility. read more
