He offered very thorough explanations of the rules and process! This being my first time renting a storage unit, I for sure needed the crash course! If I could give 10 stars I WOULD!!…read more I've used Box Bro in the past to purchase 48"x 96" cardboard pieces for a church stage production for VBS. It's that time of year again and I reached out for the same reason. I called to see if they would put 11 pieces to the side for us and the owner himself answered the phone even while on vacation! He said to just call the morning of, and make sure there were enough and I could pick them up the same day. I called to have them placed to the side and Kumar who answered the phone was so great! He said there were enough in stock. We weren't able to pick them up the same day as planned but we swung by the following day and they were still available. Thank the Lord! When I walked in Kumar greeted me politely and I told him I was the tardy customer who called for the cardboard pick up the day before. He was very kind and went to check and see if there 11 in stock which there were. He had someone take them to the driveway to be loaded into the back of our truck where my husband was waiting to load. We were in and out in less than 5 min! I spent a lot of time online price shopping and you will NOT find a better price. If you can pick it up yourself and live locally, this is the place to purchase cardboard or moving supplies.Their customer service is the BEST too. They are always so friendly and have gone above and beyond for me on so many occasions. Second the facility is super clean and well maintained. I never see trash laying around, lights out, everything looks new. I also really like that app interface so there's no locks to cut (although you can use a lock if you want to) but the lock can be controlled with your phone instead of a key. This technology also allows you to be able to monitor your unit from your phone at all times to be sure it's locked and secure. Overall, the office staff, combined with the cleanliness and technology they utilize made this a top pick for my storage unit needs. I would highly recommend it.

I paid Golden State Storage Blue Diamond $92 in advance while I was in the middle of a move. Their…read moreconfirmation assigned me a unit and listed a rental period beginning September 7, but it also clearly stated that signing the lease was required to finalize the rental. I never signed the lease, received a gate code or lock code, accessed the unit, stored property there, or took possession. A representative scheduled an appointment with me for 8:00 a.m. I could not locate my identification by that time, and at approximately 9:00 a.m. I attempted to complete the paperwork online before driving over. I discovered that everything had already been voided. When I called and asked whether my paid transaction had been canceled because I did not complete everything precisely at 8:00 a.m., the manager started talking over me ... basically, explaining that because I hadn't updated my ID by 8 AM on the day of my reservation, they canceled it... Then she told me to find another storage facility and hung up on me. Golden State then issued a receipt claiming that I had been moved out, even though I never moved in and their own email said the unsigned lease had not been finalized. A separate receipt shows that a $92 credit was submitted to my card. The treatment, sudden cancellation, contradictory dates, and inaccurate move out record were unacceptable. I have escalated the matter to corporate and requested a complete explanation and correction of the account history. I mistake bish negatively impacting the bottom line lol

I had to ship some items that were really fragile to central Wisconsin from Vegas so needless to…read moresay I was worried about the journey. From start to finish Chris and his family helped explain cost and everything else. One of the items that needed to be sent was about 100 years old (found that out from my family after I had shipped it) and it was packaged so well when it arrived with the other items. To give some clarity on its journey, I had 2 chairs, a 100-year-old tea set and some fragile wall oddly shaped art that all went on one pallet. The pallet according to the tracking was transferred about 6 times on other trucks to make it here so it was bumped around countless times in terminals being loaded and unloaded. All arrived with 0 scratches, dents and fully intact. No better feeling then unpacking everything and seeing it in the condition I sent it in.
