I came in to request that they take their lock back and credit my account and the ignorant person in the front (who knows we had our unit broken into and loss of $4k) had the audacity to tell me I made my payment on the 18th but I was also given my 3rd notice on the 18th to bring my own lock. Ummmm so you have me 3 notices in one day? She spoke over me when I tried to recap what she had just said and so I had to raise my voice to get her to listen, and apparently that was yelling lol Then I told her, "you already know the headache and money this place has costed us" and she yelled at me "THEN MOVE OUT" Okay B

My storage unit was burglarized. Started our rental in November 2022 and downsized to a smaller…read moreunit September 2024. We returned to add more items to unit on 5/22/25. Our key would not open our cylinder lock. Had to have the onsite manager to drill the lock out. Onsite manager said there were burglaries in November and December 2024 and 1st quarter 2025. Burglaries included drilling out locks and replacing them with another lock. Burglaries through an adjacent vacant units to cut through the wall. We have over 10k of items stolen. Asked the manager why are there no cameras in the hallways and key pad accesss to the building. Corporate does not do it. Spoke with the district manager, he said it will be too expensive for the items and will keep you storage units rental lower (That's another conversation on rental price increases). I found another storage facility nearby that has cameras in the hallways and keypad access. The have twice a day lock checks. We decided to rent with them. Also, why is there no system in place to notify storage renters that there has been burglaries. Manager did say that there was a burglary close to our unit. Today, 5/31/25 - we went to our unit to move out. The key would not turn again. The lock cylinder was jammed. Our unit's roll up door was kicked in and was off the track. Fortunately, nothing was taken this time. With all the reported burglaries, Cubesmart should take action on minimizing the burglaries.

I was going through a lot personally, and this was holding nightgown that my grandmother passed away in a Christmas ornament that she had made after my brother passed away on Christmas at four years old basically just mine and my daughter's whole life. I paid late sometimes cause I was dealing with a lot mentally. I was about two months behind. I tried to come in three times to pay. I came on off days eventually I connected with her. I paid the minimum payment and she convinced me to pay the rest before my auction date. She said I had time. My storage along with other got broken in to. Something didn't seem right. Nothing was missing. well I came way before that date and she told me my stuff had been auctioned off so I had the sense to Google what she was doing and basically the storage facilities will pretend that your storage got broken into so they have every right legally if it's overdue to auction it off even before the due date. Which is what she did because somehow the person that got my storage was able to bring back wet pictures and journals. A month later. See when I told her it was just old things from my grandmother. Her eyes got his biggest saucers only owed like 200 and something dollars and I lost things that were irreplaceable in haunt me every day of my life. You are a horrible person. You scammed the system knowing I was going to be removing my stuff soon. You used your knowledge to help someone get things that had no value. I'm sure benefiting you in some way. You're a criminal. You knew I'd pay and remove my stuff soon. So you lied straight to my face and used the system to your advantage.

This place is by far one of the worst ones we ever used. First month was fairly cheap from then…read moreevery single month after we kept getting notices about significant price increases. Our original rate wasn't even a "special" it was standard rate so there was no discounts that ended, they just hiking up rates to the point where last notice was almost $350 - well over double. When you call them to ask they behave like they are doing you a favor by not increasing full amount but only few bucks less than the notice. Sadly no rent control in Vegas on storage units and these guys known it so they just take you for whatever they can. The attitude at front desk is of somebody that couldn't care less - if you won't like the price hike they want then you can leave. Shop around for other places this place is looking for easy prey. Ended up having to quickly move out as their notice is only 2 weeks. Dislike them with passion.

The first day I was given a safety tour and small history lesson which I enjoyed. The next day the key to my lock (the one provided free upon purchase) broke and not only did they send someone immediately to help me I was given a whole new set of lock and keys no questions asked. The only reason I had to give 4 stars were for pricing. Now this business is worth the price it very organized, easy to navigate, great customer service, extremely clean and secure . I just didn't appreciate being told it was $110 a month for my unit until swiping my card and deep into signing I was told a extra $11will be added to the bill every month for insurance. Unless i get my own. $110 is a bit pricey so bumping it up to $121 it's not the best feeling. I also understand we need insurance but please be upfront before taking payment. This place is great otherwise even the salesperson that made the mistake.

Needless to say they said we can't promise you we'll have it at the location selected nor guarantee we'd get the truck we reserved. Then changed locations in us 3 times. So I called Penske to get a quote. Not only did we get a great deal that saved us like $200! So my pick up location was Golden State storage off S Grand Canyon. Walked in and was greeted right away, even by their cute little pup lol. Darin made the process simple and was in and out. Showed me how to use everything as it was a new model of truck. Returned the truck the next day and was late by 7 mins! Penske charged me for another day and another day of insurance!! Darin called right away and got it all waived. Great going beyond for a customer. So if your in the southwest area, I highly recommend this pick up location and use Penske!! The storage facilities looked very clean and up to date as well.
