We hired Soft Touch Moving in June 2025 to pack, move, and store our belongings in their…read more"climate-controlled" facility for four months while our new home was being built. About 4 hours into the re-delivery of our belongings by their crew, we discovered that much of our furniture and personal property which had already brought into our new home appeared to be covered in mold. The contamination affected our brand-new home and required professional remediation. As a result, we were displaced and forced to live in a hotel for 50 nights while the issue was addressed. The owner, John Craft, acknowledged to us that our belongings had gotten wet and remained on their moving trucks for a period of time during the hot and humid month of June. Despite assurances from the company's insurance carrier, we have received very little communication or resolution. More than seven months later, we still do not have our belongings and have had to retain legal counsel to pursue claims against both Soft Touch Moving and the insurance company. This experience has been incredibly disruptive to our lives. Based on our experience, we would strongly caution others before trusting this company with their belongings.

They unloaded a 16 foot moving truck for me which involved going up and…read moredown an elevator and walking back and forth down a long hallway repeatedly and they didn't even stop to take a single break. They went above and beyond and even stayed longer than they needed to and put together my bed frame which is pretty much on its last legs and is starting to fall apart. But they made it work and I have no doubt I would not have been able to put that thing together myself. The flat rate they charged was beyond reasonable and I had to double check that it was actually a flat rate and not an hourly rate because I couldn't believe how low the price was.
