Scheduling was very easy. The 2 workers were professional and polite. The truck was plenty big…read more There were no issues with dropped things or lost things. They wrapped a lot of items in plastic. We moved from a 2nd level 2-bed 1-bath apt. to a 1-story home. I would have appreciated better estimates from the company. We were quoted an hourly rate and a 1-hr travel fee. The estimated time was 2 hours and for arrival at 3 PM. The arrival time was 5 PM, and the move lasted until after 10 PM. So the time estimates were not correct. This also increased the travel fee. So 5 hours labor, the travel fee, plus gas mileage expense, and some supplies, for everything including the $100 deposit, it was $1,300 to move. I was a bit shocked but maybe that's normal with today's prices. There were no issues with the move.

Created a misery situation for the movers so we'd tip them big na demanded a 5 star review for tips on Google. So their Google reviews look far better than they are. Didn't really finish the job and broke a number of furniture. We had to file a police report as our 2 big screen TV's didn't make it to our house. That following Monday someone else brought us our TV's that strangely didn't make the truck or stay in our other house. Avoid like the plague. 5 star review tipping is a scam.

A word of advice... Do not store here! I moved into a 10x10 temp controlled unit in May. When I…read moremoved in, the temp control was not working. It is 95 degrees in my unit. I have tried to call Public Storage for the past 35 days to try and get this resolved and continue to get the run around. The only way I can even talk to someone is if I pick the option to rent a unit. Customer service has been no help, I leave a message for the property manager everyday and they never call back. Meanwhile, they bill me for the unit even though they are not providing what I am paying for. I am now in the process of renting a Uhaul and having to relocate to another storage unit on my dollar and my time. Unbelievable. Rent at your own risk. Just don't expect anything in return.

These people tell you a dollar for your first month, but it's really $30. False advertising and…read moregreed, that's what they're about. Even if a rent sounds low, they don't tell you about the $20 a month insurance policy they make you get. Come on man. If it's $30 to move in, say it's $30. Not $1.00. I just filled out multiple pages of sign up forms and they didn't hit me with the insurance part until the last one. Now I'm picking a different place just off the strength of bad business. How greedy can these people get? You're already charging people outrageous costs for closets and rooms slightly bigger. It's not wonder we have a housing crisis out here, why build a house you can only rent to one family when you can build storage units and rake in loads of cash. They benefit of other people's misfortunes. That's what they do. They profit off the evictions of poor and working class. At least the poor and working class still have some honor. If they tell you something's one price, they don't switch it up on you. Everyone wants to rip everyone off nowadays. We pay for air for our tires, we pay for water to drink, and now we pay for closets when we lose our home. The website is trash. It's deceptive and their marketing methods are dubious and circumspect. These people are the worst. Just like phone companies, they lie to you to your face about how much something costs. Grow a pair and say what you mean. Don't pee down my back and tell me it's raining. My advice: pick a mom and pops place that won't BS you into debt. Public Storage is what's wrong with America.
