Extra space storage rochelle park has no customer service. Management doesn't call back and is not flexible. Be very careful of storing here. They add very high fees. Extra space storage used to be ok now they have gone down customer service is Terrible!! The management at corporate level is nonexistent. Very disappointing. read more

Terrible service my furniture was damage by a leak from the ceiling. They up sell the storage insurance to you and say everything is cover. The site manager show no concern and wasn't helpful at all. The insurance they sell was bogus and a waste of time. They said read the fine print on the contract and basically you will take the loss. I got the hell out of there. read more

The price is good . The Customer service can be a hit or miss. Had to separate a storage due to personal reasons and the guy tried to tell me I wont be allowed to do that again because it looks like im trying to beat the system. At what?? Im going from paying $37 to $40 for the same size unit and having not one but 2! When i said that he ignored me with no apology and when i addressed it as a stupid comment he ignored it and acted like nothing. Then the female working the counter , her communication SUCKS. My stuff got stuck in the elevator lift and i was calling from the unit she didnt answer so i walked over to office and she was on a personal call. When i told her about the lift being stuck her response was "we know" so Where TF was the sign at for it?? My stuff was stuck in there for like 3 days. She wasnt nice or apologetic and even concerned. If i didnt need the storage i wouldnt even bother with this place. read more

We needed a place to store our furniture while we bounce from one apt to another for the next 6months in Brooklyn. It's really easy to reserve a unit online. This made the whole process smoother when we arrived to check on our reserved unit and sign the lease. Took altogether less than 10min. You are required to have renter's insurance. If you don't, they have it for $11 extra. Any late rent payments will incur extra fees. There's only one lift where our storage unit is located, so be ready to share space or hurry packing and unpacking things so that other customers can use it. Also the trucks, old covered-up vintage cars, and trailers parked by the fences makes it hard to bypass other customers. Our unit is NOT climate-controlled, so let's see how the first month goes for our furniture. They have locks for sale, but it's a bit $$. Stopped by Uhaul in Saddlebrook to rent a truck and I found the same exact model locks for a couple bucks cheaper. There's a deal going on for 1st month free, but it only applies to bigger storage units, so we didn't qualify. read more

This Hackensack location is great, it's super convenient-- it's basically right off of route 80. It's an outdoor location, so it works great for loading and unloading my suv when I need to. The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because there is no indoor option and no way they light up the units after dark, so it's pitch dark after sundown (this is the biggest problem for me). I gave this rating also because they don't offer a moving truck like the other Extra Space Storage's I've been to do. It's an extra step that can be avoided, although I understand the liability concern they said was the reason for this. This place does the job fairly nice enough. I like them for the purpose they're there for, and I would recommend them for what it is. Their bathrooms are much cleaner than the others I've encountered, which is two thumbs up. read more

Little mexican woman letty has a horrible attitude. I always pay on time, give no complaints about their inconsistency but this was the last straw. They locked my unit although I payed last month! Called them and was told that it was a mistake but were completely unprofessional and rude about it. read more

Amazing service beautiful facility like new GATED extremely secure spoke with Sergio one of the managers who has great customer service and an amazing team on site. They are also very CV19 Secure PPE everywhere and safe distance at reception.
