I started storing here in October 2021. Secured a 10x15 for a reasonable rate. Six months later they adjusted up which I informed management I did not receive a notice. They reduced the increase and it was fair. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. I like the late hours of access too. Check them out. read more

We are beyond satisfied with this Extra Space Storage location! We've never had any problems as far as theft or bugs getting in our unit. My unit is climate controlled and our things have stayed just the way we've left them with no damage thankfully. I do wish there was more light and that the little light there is wouldn't turn off so quickly, so bring a flashlight when moving stuff in or out to be able to see well in your unit. As far as management, my husband and I are very appreciative of Joe! He's the only person I've ever dealt with here and I'm glad! He's very quick to help in any way he can and is extremely consistent is his professional and welcoming spirit! I'd recommend this location to anyone! Very nice well kept facility. The unit I rented was clean and ready for me to move my stuff in. The manager Joe was super nice man. Inside where my unit was, it was always nice and clean outside there. It was also clean. The unit was priced good and with all the California heat that we had during last summer I did not make my unit hot at all and that was a good thing. if I had to run again, I would definitely use extra space storage in fontana again, and I would recommend them. read more

Joe and Rebecca were so helpful! I got a unit that was too small and they accommodated me in such short notice. Within 5 minutes I was in a bigger storage unit and felt stress free. Came by due to the big sign outside "one month free". Awesome, I only need storage 2 months. Well long story short that promo is only for RV storage. Blah ok wait 20 administration fee plus extra 15 extra a month for mandatory insurance? I went to Fontana Storage and got a bigger unit, twenty dollars cheaper, no mandatory insurance fee and 15 administration fee :) read more

Great customer service! Easy to use and a really clean facility. I definitely recommend it.

Do Not Rent from this place. We had our things stored for about 3 years. We went in about once a year to add or remove items. We bought a storage shed and went to remove our items. The storage was filled with dirt, inches thick. There was a temporary manager there and we got him to come see. He said, "oh you definitely need some credit issued and I will tell the manager when she returns". He had to get a shovel to remove the dirt. I have pictures as proof. When the manager returned the following day we went there and she said she knew nothing about it. When we explained she said there was nothing she could do and didn't have insurance. We told her we had been paying for insurance and then she said sorry, you don't have it. Come back tomorrow and sign the final paperwork. When we went the next day she said "oh, I see you do have insurance". I had stored several baby items and since my daughter was have a baby I wanted to use them. They were in there cases and still so filled with dirt I couldn't use any of it and had to buy all new items. If I wanted them that dirty I would have just put them in the back yard. When we filed the insurance claim it was denied. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! They are not trustworthy. We paid $128 a month and everything was ruined. Their insurance was not even interested in seeing the pictures that showed inches of dirt! They are horrible and dishonest!!! read more

They are sneaky at this location! do not rent from them! i had a storage unit for almost a year. i never once received a monthly notice through the mail or email when payment was due. They would call me and i would pay over the phone. I then receive a check in the mail for the difference of what they auctions my belongings for!! The unit was $21 a month and i had thousands of dollars worth of things not to mention priceless family items past down from generations! When i called them devastated, their response was "we sent you notices and even called and you never responded!" crazy how i never received one notice yet i receive the refund check. How is that?! I never received a single bill, a notice or a phone call to let me know i was past due or that my unit was up for auction. I am so disappointed with Extra Space. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. read more
