I've been storing my things here for a bit over a year. Everything was well packaged, in plastic and then in boxes. There is such a disgusting rat infestation in this facility that it ruined everything that was stored. It ruined clothes, TVs, dressers. I pay almost $200 a month to store my belongings and as soon as you're late, they are blowing up your phone and adding late fees, however you're paying them to store your belongings so they can get ruined. It's wild to me the amount of entitlement. I had friends help me trash the ruined items and where considering renting a few storage units here; However after throwing away name brand clothing that was wrapped in seal vacs and then stored in hard containers because the rats still got in, you understand that it's not how you pack it or store it, it's the disgustingness of where you are storing it. I will be trashing a lot more items, and keeping the bit that maybe salvageable. Spare yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. read more

I was a customer with them for over a year at this location. I've had experiences in the past with other storage locations where my storage was mysteriously emptied out with no signs of forced entry. Most likely the culprits where the homeless living in the units and in their cars within the gates. Since there are no cameras in certain locations if someone wanted to pick your lock they had all the time in the world. When I first got to this location it seemed like it was clean and well-kept. But I noticed as I visited on and off I would see the same Vehicles parked in the same locations with TV antennas set up on their roofs and makeshift tents with in their cars. I even witnessed certain storages where people conducted an entire business out of and reusing the electricity some how to run a computer and use the internet. Whenever you pull up to the storage and you type in your code some dude on a bike with just roll on in because you open the gate for him. I walk to the Second Story units and I would find people lounging around inside their storage unit on an old couch or a bed charging your phone and listening to music while drinking a beer. I complained several times to the manager's office and they assured me they would figure out what was going on but every time I came back it was the same thing they really didn't care nor enforce people living in the units or living within the gates in their cars. I also complain to corporate several times and still nothing. I eventually left and moved out and I hope all of you do too I would not recommend this place your stuff may go missing and your insurance doesn't cover mysterious disappearances. read more

This is a good storage facility! We have been using storage solutions for over 2 years things in and out the storage. Every time they are polite and helpful in getting the storage facility that meets my needs. One thing I suggest is better care of the facility like lights upstairs and another elevator :) Other than that I love the prices and they are always there when I need them ! read more

Unfortunately, needed to do an an update on this place. Prices not so reasonable anymore; they recently implemented a policy requiring insurance be purchased for every unit. I went to pay my bill online & noticed a $10 increase in the amt due. When I called to inquire about the additional due, the (not-so-polite) girl I spoke to informed me of the insurance requirement. I later searched my emails and had received no notification of the change in policy. I paid it, and immediately decided I would be changing storage facilities. I found one about 3 miles closer to our house, for less $. So I booked that one, and headed over to Storage Solution to close my account and clear out my stuff. I was then informed that even though I had just paid for the following month and still had 3 weeks within that billing period, they dont give refunds. Seriously? Ive never had a storage unit at a facility that didnt prorate. So I was out the $ for 2 units for the month since I had already booked the new unit. Yay. So went ahead and signed the vacate notice, and she informed me that I was paid up until the end of the month so if I needed my stuff to be in there until then that was fine. Then we figured out that my husband had brought the wrong key for the lock on the unit, so we had to ask the front office how much they charge to cut it off. I was expecting maybe $10? So I ask her, and her response was "well technically we charge $20 to do it". Again, seriously?? And Im still a little baffled as to why she felt the need to say "technically"; usually if someone says that, its usually followed up with something like "but Ill go ahead and do it for you anyway". But no, not this time. So Im out a month of storage rent, needed to drive my ass back home to find the other key, on top of the fact that they raised rates with no notice-overall, not a great experience. I actually ended up getting my stuff out on a different day since driving home to get the other key just didn't sound that awesome : / So we cleared out my unit on a Sunday, after office hours. I then receive a call 2 days later from an employee asking if I had vacated because the door to the unit was open and my stuff is gone. Um, yea, I did. He then got a little bit of an attitude and informed me that I was supposed to let them know when I moved out, and that he was about to call the police prior to calling me. Funny how it took them 2 days to notice that the unit door was open and my stuff was gone, when they are supposed to do routine checks of the units. I told him that I had signed a vacate notice, and silly me, I thought that counted as me letting them know I was vacating. He said that it was in my contract that I was supposed to let an employee know as I was moving out so that they can come physically check the unit. I call bull$@!t...how would that even happen if I came after office hours?? The girl that was there when I actually signed the vacate notice never mentioned that I needed to let her know when we were done emptying the unit. Plus, about 2 mins after he had left me the voicemail asking me to call back because he discovered my unit was empty, I received an email containing an exit survey from them, asking me to review their service and to keep them in mind for my future storage needs. But they didn't know I had vacated??? There used to be a manager named Erica that was always there when we came in; she was awesome, never anything but nice to us in the several times we had rented units there. The 3 other employees I've dealt with over the last month have just made me grateful there are so many other storage facilities to choose from in our area. They did change owners in January, so maybe there's an unfortunate correlation. read more

I've had multiple units in this facility for nearly 10 years. I've been along on the rides when management changes several times. I am currently outraged about how management is handling this facility. It is run down, elevator smells of urine, needs a very good scrub and looks like it has been lived in. Since I underestimated the size of space I needed she took me to see various units first hand to explore my options. Not only was she very helpful, but she made my renting experiance a good one.. Very friendly, knowlegable and gave me excellent service without the hassle. The location is clean and maintained well, they have carts avaliable for use which is helpful and a freight elevator. Stopped by this location a few days ago because I needed some moving supplies, I ended up getting some boxes. There were two girls working in the office that were very helpful, they asked if I needed a storage unit since I was moving. They showed me the different sizes of the units and even though I didn't need one now I thought it was very helpful for future reference. The place looked clean, office was very organized. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for moving supplies including uhaul trucks or a storage unit. read more

I've been a long time customer and have never had an issue with the customer service, the cleanliness of the facilities nor access to their dolly for easy hauling of your storage boxes, UNTIL a New Management took over this storage facility. Every time I have been there I have not had access to the dolly. My storage unit is located on the 2nd fl. Even if I'm there at the early hour when access of the gate is opened. I end up taking a box or a bin one at a time and dragging it from the elevator to my unit, because of the heaviness of the box/bin. I never had that issue before. A dolly was always available in every building. I called and spoke with the office Clerk Angela, and voiced my unhappiness of not having the dolly available each time I have been there. She started to tell me that maybe it wasn't available at those particular times, when I have come to the unit and started being rude. I stated to her thats not necessarily true, because I'm often there at the early hour when the gate entry become available. She said oh well, I stated to her she didn't need to be rude, she then cut me off, and said she didn't have time to discuss my issues because she had a move in customer driving in. I then told her, I'm also a customer whose unhappy. She hung up. Nevertheless, I ended up taking my boxes one by one up the elevator and dragging them to the unit itself. At the unit, I discarded 4 boxes and flattened each one of them and placed them outside the unit. For later hauling them to the trash bin. From all that hauling of boxes I ended up hurting my back and wasn't able to continue hauling anything. Before I left the storage unit, I looked around to see if I could locate the dolly, but couldn't locate it. So I had no choice but to leave the 4 flattened cartons outside my unit. The clerk Angela later called me very rude to tell me because I had left my trash outside the unit I was now being assessed $25 for trash hauling, and it was all caught on video. Further, if the $25 was not paid, they would lock me out of accessing the unit. I stated to her, did the video also catch the 5 or 6 trips I had to take, dragging the boxes from the elevator and dragging each box to the unit? I informed her if the dolly would have been available and if I would have not hurt my back, I would not have had to leave the 4 flattened boxes behind. Angela said, we will bill you the $25 and if pymt is not included with monthly Storage fee, you will be locked out . With this new management, I do not recommend this storage facility. Each time they have a new mgmt, the price gets higher. The place is not kept clean like before. The customer service is definitely not there. I gave a one star rating because of its location only. So if you have many boxes to store, be prepare to haul them yourself one by one, especially if your unit is on the 2nd floor. read more
