I'm not happy at all with the access hours. Horrible hours specially in the summer when you are trying to access your unit in the extreme heat. We should have access at least until 8 or 9 pm. Whenever I go to my unit the staff is so nosy they drive by in their little cart just staring. Makes you feel uncomfortable like you are doing something wrong when you are not. At first they give a good price but a few months later will raise the fee for no reason. I DON'T RECOMMEND AT ALL!! read more

As a business owner, I am one to be very critical of customer service. I received superior customer service at this facility upon arrival to departure. I have rented from many Storage units over the past 20 yrs and I must say this is by far the best. The gentleman here was very professional, knowledgeable and explanatory.Not on a power kick The location of the facility is very convenient and nice. I immediately notice how easy the storage roll-up doors functioned. Unlike other facilities, which hard to lift up. This facility as a whole is very clean. Storage direct is the first storage place I've ever used and let me say it's been a great three years. It's clean for one there no trash laying around out side that renters leave. Antonio in the office is awesome as well. He's keeps the communication open via phone or email. He stays on top of the receipts to make sure I have mine. Very respectful. My storage it's self is is very decent. Wind and rain there's never any damage to my storage and it's towards the opening of the door where I would have thought rain or dirt from the wind would get in but no. I'm glad to know my stuff is safe in my storage. I also like that there's a gate code to go in and to go out and there's an additional security code in order to get in to the Storage units as well. most of all they have the best prices. Storage units are pretty much the same but this storage facility sets itself apart in at least 2 ways. #1 The units are clean and well-constructed. The roll-up doors work. The door latching mechanisms are secure and are designed to discourage break-in attempts. The general grounds are also secure and clean, despite the convenient location being walking distance from downtown and transportation centers. The whole vibe of this place makes me feel safe. Maybe it's the city, but Storage Direct is *clearly* doing its part to keep up an inviting appearance. And the local Manager is definitely on top of things, greets me by first name and is more than willing to be helpful, offering tips, tricks and pointers. Invaluable level of customer service. #2 The prices. Even with an insurance add-on, my 10X15 unit is currently significantly less than *any other facility* for the same size unit Cheaper. Better managed / maintained. Convenient. Friendly. Why can't all businesses be like this?? By the way, those who are ALSO get 5-star ratings like Storage Direct does. HIGHLY RECOMMEND read more

Originally, I was at another location and although they did have the size I was looking for (available), Brenda also informed me they had an additional location down the street if I wanted more options. It turned out, I liked this location even better and it was a better price. I thoroughly appreciated Brenda's professionalism and grace with ALL the questions I had. She's awesome and I appreciate how clean and well kept Antonio keeps his property(16990 Ceres Ave). Staff is all around wonderful and helpful. Came to pick up a couple units we purchased at an auction and the employee on site (younger African American guy) was extremely rude and began accusing us of peeing on the grounds. Lol. Weirdest guy I've ever met. You can tell that he has way too much time on his hands. Don't bother coming here cause the "employee of the month" might be having a bad day. read more

Unfortunately this facility did not have to right size unit I needed for my belongings but I am leaving this review because of what I observed...this has to be one of the cleanest priorities I have visited! Whatever they do here other storage companies need to follow suit! Also the young black man who works there... Horrible customer service. I have a storage unit here and paid a year in advance cash. Few months later I get some letter saying they are going to increase the rent for the unit?? I tried calling several times and even left voicemails to inquire about these charges but never heard back. So today 8/31 I drove all the way here at 2:40 and no one is here. Someone finally came 20 minutes later. UPDATE 9/24 no one is here again and they placed a lock on my storage unit? I paid a year in advance and have the storage unit paid until the end of September so idk why they would place a lock? OVERALL horrible customer service no one is ever here and last time I came my lock was BROKEN! there storage units are VERY cheaply made and obviously don't have good security don't go here read more

I reserved a a unit just yesterday I called today ahead of time to let them know i was going and she said my reservation does not guarantee my hold on the unit which makes no sense.. how was there a move in special yesterday & I got a email confirmation to confirm it & today there is none.. the lady I spoke to was so rude & acted like she didn't know anything.. get your shit together! read more

I went in to check out the place in person because I kept getting a referral service on the phone. The truck that they advertise on the internet is now sold. So why not take the truck down so you don't mislead people? Then I was given a rate of $110 for a 10x15 unit. I asked what happened to the $99 10x15 unit... "Oh that one has a broken door."
