Called the office and no answer, doesn't even forward to a call center. Called their toll free number and was on hold forever. When someone finally answered the connection was filled with static and I could barely understand this person. He had me enter a temp code and mumbled something about talking to IT. By the time I got him to answer if that code would be on my app the gate closed and I was stuck again. Had to wait for a customer coming in so that could make a quick exit while the gate was open. No updated gate code on the app. Do better, Public Storage. This is the worst first day to get things done. Update: called customer service again as the app still does not have an updated code. Was told to wait 72 hours for an updated code. Seriously??!? Advised rep that is unacceptable and rep said best she could do was call to see if property manager was on site. Since no one answered she said she could book an appointment for tomorrow for someone to meet me there. What could improve? EVERYTHING.

Each unit has an alarm that is disabled when you enter and you can't leave until you turn it back on again via a touch pad. I don't know what's happened, but CubeSmart on Coit has really gone downhill. I've posted 3 pics of what it's looked like for weeks now (end of April 2024). It's disgusting. There's garbage everywhere. The gate is always open; I don't know if it's broken or what, but I can't remember the last time I saw it locked. There's no one in the office, either. Nevertheless, they've raised the rents (of course). I vacated my unit, and I gave written notice via email but I haven't received a reply, confirming that they're aware of this. I've also made numerous phone calls, but no one has answered the phone, so I've left 3 voicemails stating that I'm moving out, and requesting someone call me back to tell me when someone will be in the office so I can turn in my keys and lock, but so far, none of my calls have been returned. I can no longer recommend this facility to anyone.

We really appreciated that All Storage had a great intro special but that Wendy was also super up front about what the pricing would be after the special ended. Due to this and every other issue that could possible go wrong, I was at the end of my rope... That's when I opened my Yelp ap and started to look for places in area. Several didn't have 10x15's, and one had no climate control at all... Then at 5:15PM, I got beyond lucky!!! The phone was answered by a friendly, helpful woman named Virginia! They had one! ANNNND the price was $50 lower than any other place I have looked!!! She told me they closed at 6:00 but would love for me to come by if I could do so within the hour- i told her I would be there in 10 minutes! She asked my name and gave me great directions (she said I would need to turn into the same parking lot as Sonic.) Due to this, they are not highly visible from the road- this is why I have never noticed it there. The moment I walked in the office she smiled and identified me by name! She took me to see the unit and told me all the benefits of storing there! I don't even know where to start... She and her husband live on property, the facility is immaculate/clean, cameras, normally climate control is not exactly cool- it was here!! Roof leaks are a concern I asked about- I was told they just had a new roof put on! The entire time, we chatted like old friends. What a lovely lady! We then returned to the office so I could fill out paperwork and pay. Her husband Chris walked out and introduced himself. He started telling me additional information about the property. All I can say is this couple is such an asset to this property! How rare to find people so professional, friendly, and have a sincere passion about their job/the property they represent! He went to my unit right then to take the temporary lock off. Keep in mind it is now after 6:00- that didn't seem to bother Virginia, she told me we needed to go put my lock on and test my code to the security gate to ensure it worked- I felt bad and suggested I come back but she insisted! All I can say is WOW! Amazing how the professionalism, kindness, and helpfulness of these two individuals turned what was becoming the move from Hell into such a great experience!
