10/10 would definitely recommend. I moved from one city to a new city in dfw. I was greeted with kindness, care, and attention to my needs. I had a special situation that required an extra pick up from my new home. Elephant Trunk worked with me and made sure everything was taken care of as needed. The drop off and pickups were fast and efficient. I would greatly recommend making sure you are considerate to have all your containers in one central area. This creates a smooth pick up and it helps out greatly with the pick up. I truly appreciate their professionalism and great energy. Thank you so much!! Great value especially with how many boxes you get, and there are a large number of packages to choose from based of your move size. The owner is extremely kind, I messed up and left him waiting a long time when he was dropping off my boxes, and he was very understanding and just an all around great guy. Truly one of the best companies I've worked with. read more

This is absolutely the way to plan moving. This company rocks, nice people , friendly, prompt, and most of all in possession of the greatest way to make your move be somewhat tolerable. No garage or apartment full of boxes when it's over, the stackable crates are gone the day after you call them. I hope I never have to move again, but the best advice I can give anybody, is to use this company. I promise you will not regret it. read more

During my last move, I used reusable boxes similar to Elephant Trunk. I was bummed that company closed their Dallas operations, but lucky to find a local alternative in Elephant Trunk! Elephant Trunk is a much more effective and eco-friendly alternative to cardboard boxes. The plastic bins are sturdy and are designed to stack on top of each other and close without the need for tape. The boxes come with labels so you can keep them organized during your move. I had issues with my moving date and Elephant Trunk was extremely flexible and accommodating with me! I only wish the boxes came with a dolly with wheels so I could roll the boxes instead of carrying them. read more

Love this company! It makes packing soo much easier for the one packing and the ones moving the boxes. Added bonus - they're great for the environment! I would highly recommend! Super friendly staff as well read more

A year later, another move, another five star review. John is awesome. Prompt, flexible, clear communications. My only complaint? I had to use a few paper boxes for odd sized things, and the tape fell off them! I wish there were elephant boxes for everything so I'd never have to use paper boxes again. read more

First, John! Thank you thank you!!! You saved me a small fortune and so much time. Who knew? If I could shout this service from the rooftops, it wouldn't reach enough people. I had accumulated 7+ years of living in a high rise, up down, back forth. Just getting supplies required endless effort. I kept going to the supply store only to need more. The cardboard etc went on forever. Little did I know I wasn't even close. Then I got a tip from my brilliant son. Mom, don't you know about Elephant Trunk? Well damn...John shows up at my door with 40 medium and large plastic containers (just flip the lid and your done) and a couple of complimentary wardrobes that I can use for 2 weeks. Just call when you want me to pick them up at the new address, John says! What? Really? Oh my, how my world spun so much more beautifully in the proceeding days because of this niche little company. You guys must go national. You are a treasure! And I am certain that it has something to do with the people that you are and the care / service / personal touch you bring. Many thanks...It was a pleasure...I will be spreading the good word:) read more

Sure loved using this service. Such an amazing idea and executed perfectly. The boxes are great quality, stack easily, and save you the hassle of taping and cutting a bunch of boxes. The pricing is phenomenal and feels much more economical than buying cardboard. We used the 3 bedroom bundle for our large apartment and it worked great. Since they stack so well, dolly-ing your boxes is much easier. It doesn't get more convenient than having someone drop them off at your first location and pick up and your new one! John was super friendly and always on time. Can't recommend this service enough! read more

Elephant Trunk Moving Supplies - Packing Supplies Near Me - Plano, Texas

I had to move from one unit in my apt complex to another within the span of 6 months and I had JUST moved and didn't want to have to procure boxes, tape them up, etc. I'd heard of plastic reusable boxes for moving before so it always seemed like a cool idea if I had ever to move. Plus, these can stack super high, are pretty lightweight, and easy to label. So I googled them and I found Elephant. Elephant trunk boxes were a lifesaver! I love that you can pack as much as you want or AS LITTLE as you want in a box without it caving in (and they were clean! Unlike risking a gamble when you have to find cardboard boxes from stores etc.) They're so durable; we used them over and over again during the one move! John was great, very friendly and easy-going, and was easy to communicate with over text (my preferred method of contact). He was on time to deliver the boxes right inside my apartment and hauled them off from inside my new apartment. That step alone was so helpful. John is a ROCKSTAR. I had a great experience with them and highly recommend them as an added layer of safety and convenience. Pro tip: order more boxes than you think just in case! Even though they hold tons, during the move, it's easy to forget about all the random things you forgot to think about packing! read more

I am so glad I found Elephant Trunk Moving Supplies. Moving was so much easier with crates than boxes! I was able to pack my items with confidence and not having to worry if I packed to much weight or if my items will get crushed from boxes on top. The crates were extremely sturdy, hold a lot, and stack so neatly. The cost was way less than I would have paid for cardboard boxes. I also loved that I didn't have to worry about disposal after I was done. So much more environmentally friendly. I highly recommend Elephant Trunk for your moving supply needs. read more

Great products and great service! Cannot recommend Elephant Trunk more highly. Reserving the trunks was super easy and communication was frequent and clear. Both drop off and pick up were done by professional, kind team members. The trunks themselves made moving SO MUCH easier. They are infinitely faster to pack/unpack than cardboard boxes and not a single thing was broken or smooshed during the move thanks to the sturdy trunks. Thank you Elephant Trunk! read more

The best decision I've ever made. I have moved probably 15 times in my life and each time I have to either scrounge for moving boxes or break down and buy them. It has always been stressful and so wasteful. This time I wondered if there was a better way. That is when I found Elephant Trunk. I fell in love with their company story and the fact that it not only saved the planet but also helped Elephants. I had no idea how easier it would make the moving process. I will never not use them when I have to move. I also told everyone I knew about them. Crates were amazing, service was amazing, so simple and quick which is a HUGE thing when moving is already so stressful. So happy and thankful to have found them. read more

Elephant Trunk is the best moving solution there is. Don't waste your time with cardboard boxes, because elephant trunk is a much better option. Really cool concept, can't wait to use for my moving needs! Amazing customer service. It will save me so much money to "rent" the boxes instead of buying a bunch of bulky cardboard boxes and then having them leftover after the move! One of our Real Estate clients just used Elephant Trunk for their move. They raved about how easy the totes were to work with. They talked about how they actually lock into place when stacked which made it much easier to move around with a dolly. Not to mention not having to put boxes together, tear them down and get rid of them. Oh.. and no packing tape to fight with! We plan on recommending Elephant Trunk to all our clients. read more

They have great, green moving products that you can rent affordably. Really nice people. I would recommend them to anyone moving locally.

This is by far the BEST way to move in Dallas! John provided me with 30 modular sized plastic boxes and 2 wardrobe closets. Everything fit together so perfectly instead of using awful cardboard boxes that are hard to move! My movers even said how fast it made the move because of how easy they all fit together. This is a FAR better solution than using cardboard boxes. John even dropped them off to my old address and then came and picked them up and my new address. It's affordable, green friendly, and made my move so much better. I would recommend this to everyone moving! read more
